Why do asians dye(highlight) their hair so much?

I think it's because we get tired of our hair colour being the same.

Maybe because most have the striking black and you can mix pretty much any color with that and it looks amazing. Also, in asia America-ized stuff is 'cooler' so they want the lighter hair, double eyelids and other crazy weird stuff.

Asians usually dye their hair probably because it's style or they are around the people who does the same thing. I cant dye my hair or else my parents would kill me. I've always wanted to dye it blue though, hhmm

Personally, Black hair seems too plain for me, despite the fact all the scene kiddies are dying for it. And dyeing my hair seems too big of a change, so I settle for the middle-- highlighting my hair.

its cuz no one is ever happy with the way they look. people with straight hair want curly hair, vice versa. people with blond hair want brown hair, vice versa, and so on. i have dark brown hair but want black hair. my parents say lots of asians dye their hair the color of mine, but i hate it anyways.

I dye it cause' the color black looks too vague.

i dyed my hair red once and had yellow highlights.. now i'm sick of changing my hair color so i'm gonna leave it... cut all the dye off... XD

thats a good question, but it would have made more sense if the person asking did not do it themselves, lol. i dyed my hair once, brown or reddish or orangish (i dont even know o.o) and i plan to dye it again.. maybe blonde? i think it is because asians look cool w/ whatever hair color they have! add me people if u wanna =] wanna meet new friends xD

my hair now isn't my natural hair color,and not much people have seen my black asian hair lol i like looking different,everyone in my school got black hair if they're asian,i look different from them and i am happy with it 3nodding
