PFFT!!! My parents HATE my music. They listen to err...like ABBA && stuff. They hate them because they think my music influences the way I dress and since we're catholic they don't like my passion for black clothing.
But they don't care cuz they can't do anything to change me. My parents have only ever heard of My Chemical Romance when I begged my mum to buy me Three Cheers. So yah..they have NO idea who they are..they think all my music comes from probably one band or something... sweatdrop

My parents are just happy that I don't listen to SMAP or Backstreet Boys. smile
And my mom likes MCR, so it's even better!

Well, I don't think my mom cares one way or another.
In terms of the music she would listen to, it'snot her cup of tea. At least that's what I think...
Last time we were in Hot Topic, Welcome to the Black Parade was playing and she was singing along o.o
She said it was because I play it so much.

When I'm Not Okay was playing on MTV, my mom randomly goes "Ugh, this music is terrible. Turn it off! gonk "
Then I went with my dad to buy The Black Parade. We were listening to it in the car and he asked "Who is this?" and I told him and he was like "Oh my god! My Chemical Romance! Weren't they on Saturday Night Live?" and I was like "Yeah, did you like them?" and he was like, "No, they were awful!"
So that should say a lot. xd
But one time we were in the car, looking for a radio station to listen to, and my dad stopped on Welcome to the Black Parade and I was like "Dad, you hate MCR >_>;;" and he was like "Well, I kind of like this song. talk2hand "

My dad doesn't mind them. He likes The Black Parade a lot, and lets me play it in the car.
My mom however, hates them. Whenever I'm listening to them she tells me to "Turn that s**t down!", and a few nights ago I was watching LOTMS and she said she sick of me and all this "Chemical Romance crap".
Talking about my music to her is like talking to a wall.
It used to bug me, cos the music I listen to, especially My Chemical Romance, is a big part of me, but it doesn't bother me so much anymore.

my moms okay with their music she really like ghost of you and helena and she knows what their music means, my moms accually pretty cool when it comes to music....she even went to one of their shows with me I just think shes awesome when it comes to music, but my dad he's a pri** he thinks that they scream so most of the time I listen to old punk and 80's metal arround him so I don't have to hear it

mom doesn't know about them. dad hasn't heard them, but knows I like them so he's cool with it. He just knows The Black Parade is becoming really popular.

My mom listens to the Black Parade almost as much as I do. It's odd. But she loves the album, knows the words to most of the songs, and plays it all the time in the car. And she thinks Gerard is hot.
And she is 14 years older than him.

My parents have only heard one or two of their songs, and they're fine with them. My mom is, at least. My dad loves to tease me about my obsession, calling them "My Comical Romance" and such. Something pretty cool happened once though. I was watching WTTBP on Much Music and my dad picked up his guitar, listened for a bit, and started to play the chords! He picked it up just like that! My dad's pretty awesome. 4laugh

Uhh, My mom likes them, My dad, Don't even know what or who they are. and my brother just started liking them cuzz of me..
PLUS, I always sing there songs and have it blasting in my room, so they kinda have to like it, lol, and my mom says that they sound kinda like the beatles.. So yeah, she likes all the music I do, 3nodding Its awesome, My dad likes some of it but he likes older stuff, my brother is more in to , uhh, J-rock/j-pop. so yeah, lol..
