Haha. I kept it from everyone for the longest time, and I just couldn't hold it in, I wanted to talk about Loveless, Gravitation, etc etc... ya know? <3
Turns out as soon as the subject started, it was dropped and never talked about again ;-;

Right now three of friends are really into yaoi (one of whom actually introduced me to it). As for my other friends... they think yaoi is just really messed up.

I'd be surprised if my friends didn;t know I liked it. I have an odd thing for going on and on about things I really shouldn't around them, I get in to too much detail. >> <<
But, how they take is a whole other thing. I managed to get one of my friends hooked, a couple of them I met because we both liked yaoi, and for the rest of them, it just scares them.
Guys are actualy afraid of me and my friend, we like to convince them that they're gay.
I guess you could also say some of them just don't care, as long I don't go in to too much detail.

Some of my friends are totally discugsted by it, then others, mostly my closer friends, think its as beautiful as I do or even hot. So it varies, I guess it all depends on how open minded a person is about that kind of stuff.

Well, all my friends are guys so yeah.
They've gotten used to me talking abot the glory of mansex. I once scared a frind of mine with volume seven of FAKE. After that he introduced me to somebody by going "This is Roni. She likes mansex."
You should have seen the look on the face of the person he said that to.
I tell them they should get more pretty friends that I could pair up. I mean most of my friends are Boy Scouts. It shouldn't be hard to find a few semes and an uke or two. They're all boys.
Basicly they know it as one of the wierd things I like. They don't care, but they want no part of it.

my friends dont really care, but they think its hillarious to watch my fiancee cringe/shudder when I read summin like Fake, then turn around and kick him when he mutters his usual comment to that, either "******** fags" or "rather read about queers than talk to me".
its funny to watch my nephew cringe too, I got his girlfriend hooked on Fake.
My nephew: crying how could you?

Most of my otaku friends are into yaoi. Predictably, they're all either girls or gay men. None of my straight male otaku friends (MAJORLY in the minority) are into yaoi. They just kinda go "Eh, it's there" and ignore me when I read, watch, and talk about it.

hmm.... most my friends indulge my fantasies! XD or they just listen and roll eyes saying something like "you and ur yaoi"..... or "no bad! no yaoi!".... or some just plain out beat my fantasies! XD .... i'd say i'm the slashiest-er one though.... if that makes sense! XD

Well me and my friends and yaoi, well i intro. them in it but they don't care. They really seem okay with it and some of my friends like play around with me like if they are gay even if there not. But yeah, everythings okay, now that they like it to 3nodding

My friends don't really care. One of my friends doesn't care, but she doesn't like it herself. My other friends are absoulutly obsessed with it. She loves it! My guy friends all freak out and say that's awesome, and whenever I read or talk about shounen-ai/yaoi they say they gotta go and they leave. rofl I think it's absolutly funny!
Now, my parents I don't tell, I keep it a secret from them because if I told them they would lecture me till the apocalypse came. stare And dad would lecture me even more, and then talk what the bible says. eek
