Oh, and don't get the impression that my school is heaven--I still get called a poser every other day. There's just a lot more "posers" that you can relate to. *hugs Chelsea* "hugs Patty* *hugs Michelle* crying

My friends all listen to MCR. So are they all emo? No.
Does listening to Jesse McCartney make you a prep? Possibly.
But that's just so stereotypical.
D= Labels.

Personally, I don't mind labeling. It kind of simplifies things, since there are a lot of people that do follow their 'label's traditions. If you think labeling is bad, don't kill me for this. In my opinion, if you don't want to be labeled, just break away and actually be an individual. Don't try to be unique on purpose; that's as bad as being a poser. If you're unlucky enough NOT to be unique, that's not our fault. If you don't fit a stereotype, people will stop calling you it. And if they don't, just bash their skulls in with a blunt object. That's I have to say.

GigaCami sometimes I get some people BS-ing me because they either think I'm: A) a poser for listening to poser bands (MCR are NOT posers, people! stressed ) or B) Goth. Just because I wear eyeliner does not mean I am gothic. stare so I either yell at them or walk away. To quote Gerard: "Be yourself, don't take anyone's s**t, and never let them take you alive...."yeah i hate how people are dissing mcr since most people in my school pretty know mcr. Some of them talk crap, how mcr is so emo, how thy don't save lives and all that bullcrap. I hate it when some people give me weird looks when i say i really like MCR. like, screw you! I like them and I don't give a shizz.

What confuses me here is that people seem to take being called an "emo" as an insult. Personally, I would be flattered if someone saw me as that focused towards the music that I love. I've never really been "labeled," I have friends in high, low, and nerdy places. 3nodding

I've never really been "labeled," I have friends in high, low, and nerdy places. 3nodding it's not that. It's when they call you that, they mean it as an insult. And if you try to retaliate back about how it doesn't bother you to be called emo, they'll only make fun of you more. Solution: Walk away, and chill with your friends. 3nodding

Yes, we have more white people that think they're black than actual black people at our school. It scares me. And they're also the people that think my friends and I are lesbians. We just laugh about it, though. I mean, they're the ones whose female members make out at parties.

I'm made fun of for listening to My Chemical Romance and being Emo. I'm also made fun of for being on of the school's librarians and resident know-it-alls. I can't escape it either. My brother is an emo-basher and takes great pleasure of making fun of me, my parents wouldn't do anything to shut him up.

Yes I do alot. Like this one time I had a locker It was filled with MCR posters. I was at the bottom so the people on the top locker can see whats inside. So I put my books in and headed for class, when class was over I looked at my locker..and there my locker was covered in chewing gum people pre chewd cheming gum even on the nob, spit ball, food smearings, and the stupid people dint do anything about it the janitor had to clean it all off.
I also hate getting labeld se I am the kind a person that dont label people.Ithink its gay to lable people on what bands they listen to.
My friends..well were my friends dont like them either, I know one friend,that there mom doesnt want her to hang around be, just becuse I listen to MCR..She doesnt like there appearance rolll eyes* but whatever MCR to the end crying evil

people call them a bunch of things, and talk a lot of s**t about the band but regardless, i just shrug it off. it's their opinion. just like i think the s**t they listen to sucks. the only people that really give me s**t about it are a couple of my close friends, and they just do it to ******** with me lol.
