User ImageMizu Soujuu [ Water Manipulation ]
Rank: X [learned as E]
Official Description: This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.
Guild Description: In this technique, X determines the amount of water to be created. At E-rank, about a gallon of water is gathered, and the amount quadruples with each rank after, capping out at about one-thousand [1000] gallons at S rank [enough to fill a small pool]. Learning this technique also reduces the cost of Formless manipulation by five [5] chakra, to a minimum of five [5].

Hot-blooded, Saekki took the taunt. Not like he needed convincing to approach, anyways. However, before rushing forwards, he knew he wanted to try using a weapon after having tried his claws. A hand extended to his side, and after weaving in some foreign hand signs, it drew a magic circle of oriental design in the air. He wanted to learn things the way ninja did, but no matter. He got a fight. No way was he waiting to be taught! A paltry amount of water, approximately a gallon, gathered around the sign. [1/1]

Mizu no Yaiba [ Water Sword ]
Rank: X [learned as E]
Official Description: Creates a sharp sword made of solid water in the user’s hand. As the user's control improves, he can manipulate the shape and size he/she wants the sword to have, from a tiny dagger to a massive decapitator sword. At the minimum requirements, the sword has minimal offensive power, able to make slight cuts and tears in the flesh of an opponent, and susceptible to high pressure (an opponent breaking the blade with a weapon of his own).
E-Rank: The sword can be up to the size of a wakizashi, and is fragile, breaking under the pressure of weapon strikes against it.
D-Rank: The sword can be up to the size of a katana, and is now as strong as a normal, metal blade.
C-Rank: The sword can be up to the size of a nodachi, and now cuts with the edge of a finely crafted blade.
B-Rank: The sword can be up to the size of a cleaver sword, and is now incredibly durable and lethal.
Guild Description: See official description. Requires an upkeep of half the original cost to continue after the first post, to a minimum of five [5] chakra.

Saekki's hand clenched around the gathered water. It had been such a long time, but he regulated his breathing and circulated the energy within his body once in preparation. Then he executed the technique, with a flick of his energy, he focused the water he had created around his hand. His chakra networks, still suffering the aftereffects of the near fatal blow they had received not too long ago, failed to execute the technique efficiently as Saekki unsheathed a liquid sword from the water. About half of the gallon that had been gathered fell to the ground, unshaped into the small, straight blade now in Saekki's hand and held in a stabbing position at the same height as his head. [1/1]

• Medium Weapons
With his wakizashi-sized water jian, Saekki charged in for a simple stab attack. If his posture had been like a beast's before, low and unpredictable, this attack appeared far more cultivated. Clear, distinct, and easy to predict, but in exchange much more focused and controlled. Saekki charged Makara with what constituted a double stab as one attack. The first thrusting attack originating from the blade's initial position held at his head, then the second flowing seamlessly right after as Saekki twisted to take another step forward and attacked again, this time the strike coming from where the momentum of the first attack had left his blade off to the other side of his body. Two attacks, precisely executed, but consequently, because he didn't put all of his weight into the first and couldn't put all of his weight into the second, each was weaker than what one strike would have been. [1/1]

It was a flashy strike, but also a foolish one. Saekki was still not used to this weaker, slower body of his. Old Saekki could pull off such a double strike approach without fear, probably, the movements blurring together to leave no opening. However, current Saekki wasn't fast enough for the space between the two stabs to not be a glaring weak point, when his body is left wide open and unprotected to an attack.

                                                    • Alyn hardly paid attention to the ongoing fight near by as he would be focused on his prior task, the box house...it was so....blah. He took a deep breath as he would dig into the ground and begin to build the foundation of the next house. Four slabs of rock were pulled up, each ten feet by ten feet that would be placed down and melded into the ground proper with black steel rebar pushed through them, tensing as he would place his palms on the stone floor and begin to cover it in black steel that slated nicely similar to what a wooden floor would look like. Taking a deep breath as he stood up and began to pull up eight more ten foot walls and connected them to the foundation of the house using more rebar allowing it to be a rather large house covering roughly forty feet.

He left one wall still laying flat on the ground to allow him in and out of the box formation and crafted four more slabs, lifting each one he would bring them into the box and place them in similar pattern to the floor and attached them with rebar creating a solid floor for a two story house. From there he crafted steel poles similar to the studs of a wall and had them drill and placed into the back half of the house creating a sectioned off area in the place. He ran the bars along the area and created a rather normal house with a bathroom off to the corner, a place for a kitchen and a regular living room.

The part he had sectioned off was fitted with black steel stairs that lead up to a newly carved hole leading to the second floor. The house would then be fitted with two doorways and window shaped holes to be filled with glass later to allow sunlight in. He continued on to craft the second floor and created three bedrooms and what would be two smaller rooms with baths and closet spaces, the layout was a decent one family house as he finished up by creating black steel walls over the thick studs he used to section off the various pieces of the house. Alyn had issues with the roof, but he managed to create a sloping roof as well as a porch out back.

The home was technically constructed...yet he didn't really want this house, he would instead start to craft walls along it to section it away from the area making it similar to a residential home. He didn't hesitate to start on another one slowly building the next home and laying it out differently then the last though it remained rather large for a family home. Steel columns hung out the front as he fitted a balcony into the place and began to construct stairs there as well.

He worked steadily as he would be careful about building the homes, he ended up building roughly four homes in an alignment before hitting a rather tough spot, he sighed as he would find that this was slow going....it was also extensively freaking irritating for him. Taking a deep breath as he focused chakra into his palms and formed a series of hand seals before placing his hands upon the ground and the sound of rumbling all around him occurred as black steel rose, sweat beaded on his forehead as he started to feel extensively drained as the steel erected before him would rise to pre-craft various homes within his mind's eye.

Ten houses rose as he finally let out the breath he had been holding, though they were all crafted from steel and stood in varying sizes from small single homes to one family homes before him. A small area had been turned into almost complete housing. Alyn sat down breathing out hard as he would hold a single hand seal and the creak of metal moved about before him as roofing formed on the various homes. Sitting back as the homes formed and he immediately felt the drain of chakra on his body. Including the two family homes he had crafted a total of twelve houses using his techniques, though he needed to rest for a bit after erecting such a large amount. The homes rose one to two stories per an area with pre-created walls that would have to be painted and what not for the sake of whoever claimed the various homes.

Steel Release: Black Steel Cover Creation | Rank C Learned

Back found itself on the floor as he panted and stared at the sky, he groaned wiping sweat from his forehead as he found that it had been less exhausting building the homes by hand then it was to suddenly create so much in a short span of time. Palms pressed to his eyes as he felt extensively drained by the usage of the useful techniques he had learned as a crafter, he would stand up to go confirm the structures were stable, entering into each and creating beams, studs and walls as needed due to the vast amount created by him.

This job was going to be a ******** pain in the a** for him in the long run and he knew it for a fact as he would move from each pre-constructed home, luckily he was able to cut from the homes and store the metal to the side to use for various things without having to craft more. Continuing to hold his single hand seal as he would do secondary walkthrough through all the homes to double check for any weaknesses in the buildings structures, he finished up and took a seat on the ground and leaned back to take a breather and recover his chakra, he was pretty sure he almost put himself in a ******** coma, "Need someone to just gimme their energy...christ..." he grumbled letting his head lean back and rest against the steel while he closed his eyes to try and grab just a little bit of shut eye before he'd end up having to repeat the process once again.

✘✘ Village: Uzushio || Rank: Student || Classes: Bukijutsu & Bloodline
    ▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Kyōkan's trudge behind the designated Jounin was... wary. The destruction of Uzushiogakure and their move to Hi No Kuni had set the young man's mind in a spin. It didn't help that for all intents and purposes the whole village had managed to survive. Its inhabitants already working on rebuilding even if now as the rechristened Konohagakure due to where they were rebuilding. Kyōkan wasn't truly invested in either name. So long as no one forced him to wear the name Hoshigaki he would bear the crest of the village. Whether that be Konoha or Uzu. The Jounin, practically indistinguishable from many ninja belonging to the village began to quiz Kyōkan on his current placing at the Academy. After all, the Academy had been rendered into rubble in the conflict, its records destroyed and left behind in tatters.

"Where are you on the basic six?" Inquired the Jounin

When the idiot commoners typically visualize shinobi and the arts they employ, inevitably they will think of the Henge. The simplest of techniques, it allows its user to transform themselves into any object or person. Simply put, it provides the basis behind the very mentality of shinobi: the art of deception. Kyōkan knew it was a necessity for their craft but couldn't care too much. Still, it had its uses. He just preferred being more... forward.

The Gensou Bunshin or known simply as Bunshin was very similar to the Henge in this regard. Its strength lay in its capabilities for deception. Incapable of attacking, the Bunshin were meant to confuse or startle opponents. To be perfectly frank, Gensou Bunshin were simply the root from which all other Bunshin techniques originated from. For Kyōkan, they were an afterthought. Necessary to graduate but that was about it.

The Kawarimi was yet another staple, rooted in deception. One quick burst of chakra to replace yourself with an object to avoid a blow. If properly timed, it would deceive the attacker that they had in fact struck the victim. Of course, they would soon realize that they had been deceived. However, that still granted a small opening in which to attack or flee. In truth, these three techniques were all staples that no shinobi should ignore.

Chakra control was a very important aspect of the ninja arts. Thankfully, the Academy now covered the basics on helping students learn how to master their chakra flow. Before it was one of the rudimentary techniques that the Jounin Sensei of Genin Teams would cover. Leaving entire generations of Genin whole-fully ill-prepared in terms of learning how to master chakra control.

The first step toward improving your chakra control was the Kinobori no Waza. It required precise amounts of chakra to properly walk up a wall or tree without leaving a mark. Kyōkan growled at the recollection of being drilled endlessly in the the exercise until it was practically an unconscious act on their part. After all, if you were focusing on maintaining the proper chakra flow to stick to the wall, how could you fight properly? You would’t. That’s why it had to be drilled to an instinctive level. Nothing less would do.

The second step for chakra control was Suimen Hokou no Waza. There were differences, since walls and trees were solid you merely needed to grasp the proper amount of chakra and hold it. Thus allowing the shinobi to run vertically. With water, the chakra had to be emitted constantly thus forming a quasi form of solidity to the water surface. In that manner, water walking was truly achieved. Another skill that also had to be instinctive. Well, only so far, Kyōkan's clan had a special relationship with water, one that involved submerging yourself into its depths. Still, water walking was important when not attempting to employ the aforementioned strategy.

Chakra control was important for many reasons, such as releasing yourself from a genjutsu. Focusing their chakra a shinobi would halt the its flow to disrupt the genjutsu that had latched on. In that manner, the shinobi would be freed from a variety of techniques. It wasn’t limited to Genjutsu but was the foremost defense for it. A staple in any shinobi’s repertoire. Especially for those who would be likely targets for such techniques, such as Kyōkan.

"Are you kidding me?!" snorted Kyōkan. "How could I even dream of passing if I didn't have them down?"

"Have to ask, replied the Jounin before moving on. "How about any other Maruton techniques?"

Ayatsuito no Jutsu broke down the various uses of wires. Kyōkan couldn't care less. Sure, it was a classic art of ancient shinobi before bloodlines had developed as drastically as they had... so what?. They were prissy little things, easily cut and disabled if you knew they were there. Kyōkan had always grumbled but learned their uses well. His application though was far more focused on using the wires as footholds. Still it was also useful as a way to tie up enemies that they needed alive. Well, using the wires to avoid a deluge of lava gave it enough merit for Kyōkan to keep a note of it.

Kyōkan couldn't care less for the Kawara Shuriken technique. Who the hell was so desperate as to practice and argue for the merits of... roof tile shuriken?! He had been forced to learn it due to his tenuous position at the Academy but he had done so grudgingly. Ridiculous technique. He would have been better served practicing just about anything else.

Youji allowed to spit out needles/senbon at rapid speeds. To be frank, Kyōkan had looked down on it at first. Until he had managed to shoot out a few while blade locked with another greatsword practitioner. He hadn't disparaged the technique since. It could be a nasty little surprise for the unprepared opponent.

Korabo was the basis for allowing the fusion of multiple techniques. Kyōkan had been taught that some of the strongest ninjas operated as teams. Such as the village Sannin. The ideal was that together they would be stronger than the individual. Kyōkan had grimaced during those lessons, thinking of the hostility of his "brethren" and the fact that if it were up to them, Kyōkan would be fending for himself. No... teammates was not a luxury that Kyōkan could afford or hope for at this time. Not to mention that it required a certain synergy between individuals that wasn't immediately obvious.t.

These techniques were the basics of their craft. Thus, Kyōkan made sure to learn them. Such as the Bikou Ninjutsu, which focused on making a shinobi better at stealth. Specifically, to hide their presence. Bikou merely enhanced one’s attempt, but stealth was one of the cornerstones of the shinobi arts. Just like Kakuremino no Jutsu. It too, enhanced one’s stealth. Bikou was better suited for improving one’s stealth while in movement. Kakkuremino was better for static stealth. It allowed one to blend almost seamlessly into the background. Maybe something to help set up a prepared ambush. Heh... that could be useful indeed.

Karakuri Hakke no Jin was more of a technique taught in the Academy to help students raise the alarm in the case of an emergency. Kyōkan had promptly done his best to forget the technique right after learning it. It required such arduous prior set-up that it truly wasn’t viable. What's worse, the subsequent maze could only slow enemies down. Completely useless at truly stopping them.

Nawanuke no Jutsu was a simple technique. Its purpose was to allow shinobi to escape bindings. It wasn’t terribly efficient though. After all, getting out of bindings could be quite difficult. Slipping out was tough. Kyōkan preferred snapping the damn things. Trusting in his strength and toughness to allow him to do so both easily and with little harm to himself.

Kekkai Massatsu no Jutsu was… potentially quite devastating. However, it did require a team. Which made it less than an afterthought in Kyōkan's mind at the moment. Together you worked together to shatter barriers. The more people working together, the stronger the technique. In truth it was a brute force technique to forcibly turn numbers into an advantage. Better to simply have the brute force to break the barrier down yourself. At least, that was Kyōkan's thoughts on the matter.

Tanukineiri no Jutsu would perhaps seem to be useless. But while on a mission, being able to sleep on command in the moments that allowed for rest… that was worth its metaphorical weight in gold. The best part is that it granted the full benefits of a sleep cycle whilst still keeping the shinobi at a easily woken state. Having grown up in a hostile home, Kyōkan knew how important a restful but like sleep was. He had used it many times already even before graduating. That way he could stay moving and his cousins couldn't find him.

"Got em learned proper, don't you worry." half-growled Kyōkan. "Even that really useless maze one."

The Jounin had the decency to blush in recollection of technique. "Moving on, Suiton is your first element right Hos-? The Jounin began to inquire when-

"Hitogoroshi!" Barked out Kyōkan, interrupting the Jounin. Not at all happy that the Jounin would use his dead name. That whole clan was dead to him. Perhaps in the future a member might distinguish themselves and thus be treated differently by Kyōkan. But for now? He wanted nothing to do with any of them. Even if their blood was why Kyōkan displayed such strength with Suiton techniques.

Sution manipulation started with the Mizu Soujuu technique. If nothing else that the technique allowed shinobi to create a water to use as a source for other Suiton techniques. For lower level techniques Mizu Soujuu formed the basis of allowing shinobi of creating suiton attacks from the very moisture in the air. The more chakra, the more water would be created. That said, it was better to set up the terrain beforehand if one required sources of water for their techniques. Or better yet… simply be strong enough to create all the water needed. Kyōkan knew which answer he preferred to emulate.

The Mizu no Waruasobi was almost more of a prank than a legitimate technique. It involved rolling one's chakra through their fingers to muster up a minuscule amount of sweat. The precise flick would then allow the user to direct the streak towards an enemy's eye. Hopefully it would impair their vision, but only if it landed solidly in said target. Otherwise, the technique was utterly harmless. Kyōkan had nothing but disdain for this technique. There were far more effective techniques to use than this one.

Mizu Kagami no Jutsu was in Kyōkan's mind a very... self-involved technique. It allowed the user to create a mirrored surface from a drop of water. Horrifyingly draining for what it actually achieved. Kyōkan wondered what preening ponce had dreamed up the technique. Likely a man who couldn't resist the urge to preen and prance in front of any reflective surface. It probably had other applications, but Kyōkan would forever see the technique as inherently inefficient even in the best of scenarios. Well... maybe in very specific circumstances if could be useful.

Using the Uo Tsuba woud create jets of water being shot from the user's mouth. If it landed right, Kyōkan had seen the technique stun an opponent. Quick shots in rapid succession saw the most results. Even landing one shot would slow and debilitate its victim. If enough landed, it could even render them stunned. Granting the user an opportunity to land a more devastating blow. Kyōkan himself had suffered under multiple shots of this technique from his cousins growing up. Effective, but Kyōkan couldn't shake an inherent loathing for the technique as a result of his associations with it.

As a swordsman, Kyōkan could appreciate the Mizu no Yaiba as a technique. If only because it meant that should he be disarmed, he could quickly recreate a spare. It didn't last long only a couple of blows, but if strengthened sufficiently? The Mizu no Yaiba would lose to no blade. In fact, at its peak Kyōkan had seen it sunder through armor! Definitely an devastating technique if used appropriately. In fact... there might be a possibility or change created by allowing himself to be disarmed. Lulling the enemy into a false sense of security as he use the technique to bisect his foe.

Kyōkan recalled quite easily one of the times he pushed the Mizu Yaiba to its strongest capacities. He had been training, creating blades of various sizes as he sliced through training dummies. At first he had started with its most basic form, creating a Wazikashi. At that state, the blade could barely bite into the dummy let alone cut through it. In its next form as a Katana, Kyōkan was able to dig in deep into the dummy with a proper slice. it was only when he created it as a Nodachi that he cut right through the dummy with no issues. Creating it at its strongest form, that of a Zanbato had allowed Kyōkan to slice through a huge boulder that had been left on the Academy training grounds. He still remembered the loud crash of the two halves of that gigantic boulder falling apart. In fact, he had so startled a teacher that they had run outside expecting an attack. At the time, Kyōkan had howled in laughter about an attack on the Academy. In light of recent events however... Kyōkan wished he hadn't laughed so hard back then.

"I excelled at Suiton techniques, particularly the Mizu no Yaiba." replied Kyōkan with a grin.

"Well then, What's your other element?" Inquired the Jounin.

Kyōkan's second element was an oddity for Hoshigaki. He was a wielder of Raiton. Though uncommon for his clan not many (both outside and within it) saw his second nature as a weakness for or of Kyōkan. After all, there was a lot of synergy between his two elements. Suiton to control/warp the terrain, setting up paths for his Raiton to spread. Its rudimentary techniques had been taught, and Kyōkan had done his best to learn them.

The first technique was Denpō Sekka. In truth, Denpō Sekka was an... odd technique. Particularly as an introductory one for the Raiton element. It's very basis was as a teamwork based technique. The loner that had been Kyōkan in the Academy had thus done poorly and bringing out Denpō's potential. That said, the Academy had no complaints with him about it. The rudimentary basics, that of creating lightning to surge from beneath an opponent had been mastered by Kyōkan. It wasn't his fault if none of his fellow students had trained with him to give it that edge of duplicity that was necessary for the best techniques.

Kyōkan knew a lot of shinobi, students and above, looked down on Touei no Jutsu. Particularly since it ruined any attempt at stealth. It made the user glow brightly after all! Sure it could be used to send a code or signal but even that was limited as it still required line of sight to the user. Which for stealth... counter productive. However, the brawler in Kyōkan marveled at an inherent quality of the technique. With enough strength the burst of light could blind his enemies if they were looking directly at him. While its application while in stealth was rubbish. In a fight? That burst of light could open up an avenue of attack. Or help Kyōkan to disable an enemy's attack.

Raikou Bunshin was... well it was solid at least. In fact, it was even capable of recreating the originator's Taijutsu. Unfortunately, only to a tenth of the original's power. On top of the inherent... disappointment of the technique was the fact that Kyōkan's strength was firmly rooted in Bukijutsu to begin with. Perhaps the dispersal burst of electricity could be weaponized. Most likely however... Kyōkan would rarely if ever use this technique in a serious fight. Maybe in a spar to tweak an ally's nose. That had potential.

Seidenki Ito was potentially useful as a form of early detection/warning system. But it was very limited in both range and application which curtailed its theoretical effectiveness. As an offensive technique it was practically forgettable. Even at its worst it would only inflict a minor shock at best. Though again, its potential as a warning was there. The user would have to be very familiar with the slight sound/spark it made for it to actually be effective. Somehow, Kyōkan thought there were better techniques to achieve the same effect.

Kyōkan had taken to the Teikou no Kuntou quite well, particularly so when you considered what clan he came from. Even at the very beginning of the training where students would feel pain from their own Raiton techniques, Kyōkan had felt an odd numbness at worst. By the time he had completed the Teikou no Kuntou, he felt no discomfort at all. In fact, in this manner he had completely outclassed all of his clansmen, though very few even displayed an aptitude for Raiton to begin with. Even the hardiest of the Hoshigaki had still felt some pain. Kyōkan had been pleased to see their discomfort, particularly in light of his own good showing.

"I did better than was expected of me. Far better." answered Kyōkan, his voice dripping with smugness as he reveled in the memory.

"Any knowledge of Fuuin?" Inquired the Jounin.

Fuuin... Kyōkan gritted his teeth. It wasn't exactly a passion of his. He always struggled with the delicate patterns and care that was required for the esoteric art. Even the most basic of techniques, the Tenbanasu Fuuin had resulted in a struggle. It was a simple seal, in the shape of a clock, with sealed hands that would depict the timer. It was a layered technique meant to increase the duration of another seal. And yet, it had taken Kyōkan far longer than his classmates to properly learn and recreate the technique.

Just as it had been a struggle to learn the Fūnyū & Kaifū Fuuinjutsu. Two parts of a whole they were. One technique to seal away what the user desired into a scroll, the other to release the previously sealed objects. Sure, Kyōkan knew they could be useful and he didn't intend to neglect the techniques. After all, how useful would it be to hide his greatsword in a simple scroll as he attempted to evade pursuers? Or to make an enemy think he was unarmed? In fact, there might be potential in carrying a scroll with a second blade to further muddle the issue. Yes, Kyōkan could definitely see the potential in such a maneuver.

The one Kyōkan had truly found annoying, if not useless to learn had been the Korabo Kuchiyose no Jutsu. Sure it could be used logistically to help move important resources or personnel... but that required careful planning and being in the back-lines! Kyōkan was a fighter!! He didn't want to be hiding somewhere helping a prominent figure to get to the right place, he'd rather be the one they were moving. Not to mention it required working with other shinobi and at this moment in time Kyōkan didn't feel particularly camaraderie with any of his fellow students. Perhaps once he had a proper team or solid companions this technique could be revisited... maybe.

"I was passable at Fuuin. I didn't fail but I won't be a seal master, that's for sure." Kyōkan noted almost begrudgingly.

"Let's go over Genjutsu. How are your Illusory techniques?" Inquired the Jounin.

Kyōkan sighed. Genjutsu was a sore subject for him. True, he wasn't as inept in it as Fuuin, but he did struggle with it. Down the road, he was sure that he'd be adept at least a few techniques. A few tricks that would allow him to gain an edge against an unwary foe who would see a swordsman and little else. With that said though… Kyōkan was utterly disappointed by the techniques he had been taught in the Academy.

Kumo Monokage no Jutsu… the ******** illusion cloud technique. The technique created an illusory cloud… in an attempt to hide something… Not even Kami could possibly fathom that logic. A cloud hovering at ground level was just suspicious, it was downright asinine.

Even Etainoshirenai no Fugou made no goddamn sense. Sure, creating a false set of instructions was potentially useful. Too bad it bleeding failed at the simplest of touches. That barest of whispered touches would break the illusion. Not really useful then was it? Just like Dokuji no Kaori. You'd only create a scent if you were trying to escape trackers, but the dang tech didn't get rid of your scent. If they were a decent tracker, they'd be able to find ya no problem. Useless is what that was.

And the Nirami no Kage was about shadow manipulation. Like not weaponize it like the Nara. No no, it was all about altering minor details. Trivially, unhelpful. Probably created by a Nara fanboy. Not that it did even a fraction of what the clan could.

Now Hada no Kamereon actually had potential. It allowed the user to blend into their surroundings seamlessly. Much like the chameleon in its name. Sure, with experience the user could seen. But if they didn't expect you to use it? Devastatingly effective.

Kaiteki Uta had been the idea of the one of the instructors due to the continuous fights. They thought that making Kyōkan feels its effects might help dissuade him from fights. They failed to take into account that Kyōkan might learn it just to learn how to recognize the technique and work to dispel it when he thought his rage was justified.

Kyōkan actually liked the Kowaikao no Jutsu. Kyōkan liked to use it to try to intimidate his cousins when he wasn't in the mood for a fight. Granted that wasn't often. The instant when his face became demonic and they stepped back in fear struck an odd note of satisfaction in Kyōkan. Maybe something to use in the future as a leitmotif of sorts.

Saikederikku was a psychedelic drug as a genjutsu and no one would be able to convince Kyōkan otherwise. He had seen how people reacted under the drugs. It was exactly the same way as when under the genjutsu's effects. A whole technique just to avoid the drug's backlash... ridiculous.

"Definitely learned everything required of me. A couple caught my eye though." answered Kyōkan.

"How is your Enchantment Genjutsu as a whole?" Inquired the Jounin.

Kyōkan’s opinion of Enchantment reflected his opinion of Illusion. A few tricks that would allow him to gain an edge against an unwary foe who would see a swordsman and little else. And yet, here too as a whole it was a disappointment what the Academy offered to teach. Kyōkan learned them of course because it would the way to learning more techniques later.

Etainoshirenai no Oto was one of the useful ones, allowing the user to perfectly mimic the sounds of wildlife. Most used it to create a cacophony of animal sounds rather than focusing on just the one masking sound. But it could also be used to mask their approach. Why waste it on the improbable cacophony instead of the solitary owl. Much more believable.

Hekireki Koe no Jutsu wasn’t actually taught at the Academy. It was used often though… by teacher’s. Kyōkan had learned it from direct exposure, being yelled at when one of his cousin's crossed a line and met Kyōkan's fists in retaliation. Eventually, the constant exposure had ensured that Kyōkan would in turn pick it up himself. Helped quite a bit when he had to be heard.

Kyōkan liked the Hibanahouden no Jutsu. Given his elemental affinities, he could easily make an enemy believe they had been riddled with static electricity. Provoking “zaps” that kept them distracted. All that Kyōkan needed was his opponent to be unfamiliar with how static electricity worked, or to believe that his Raiton techniques artificially cerated the zaps. Then they’d be trapped, not even considering them to be genjutsu.

Tsutaurushi no Jutsu was a joke. Kyōkan was dead certain. The technique made the victim’s skin itch as if from poison ivy. Utterly ridiculous. Who was to consider that debilitating? Honestly, it’s like these techniques were designed to embarrass students once they graduated. Bit of fun for the teachers.

Kuuden created static that impaired its victims hearing. In Kyōkan's humble opinion, if that didn't immediately strike you as suspicious... well then you were in the wrong profession to be perfectly frank. One's hears wouldn't suddenly get buzzed up with electricity. Practically screaming, genjutsu this technique was.

Okuyuki Katawa affected the enemy’s sight. Not blindness, it targeted the depth perception of the victim. Making it harder to react to attacks, misjudging the distance. Doubly so for ranged attacks. If they couldn’t properly estimate where a kunai was, they’d get hit. Afterwards, they’d have to overcompensate to correct the error in depth perception. All in all, it was a subtler technique that Kyōkan could get behind.

Shihouhapou was well, useful but not really Kyōkan’s style to be perfectly honest. Sure if could be quite devastating to help mount the tension on an opponent. Making them think they were surrounded. However, you needed the right terrain to really be able to realistically sell the illusion. Not something Kyōkan was sure he could do.

Shimaru Shikaku was very useful for Kyōkan. Shimaru Shikaku created a form of limited blindness by limiting the opponent’s range of vision. It would allow Kyōkan to launch attacks from within those blindspots which the opponent would be less capable of defending properly. Very useful in a high pace combat. The harder it was for an opponent to maintain a wide-field view of the situation, the easier it was to set up a trap or trick to capitalize in that limitation.

Konoha-Ryū Yanagi was just the sort of technique that would be right up Kyōkan's alley. However, the multiple arms was less effective in his case, because he wielded a sword. That, wasn't duplicated with this tech. Resulting in it being just a wee bit ineffective. Course, if he were ever to be disarmed... then this technique held a lot more value.

Magen: Jigoku Kōka no Jutsu was ridiculous. A sudden descending gout of fire?! Sure Kyōkan didn't exhibit the traits of his... clan, but it was still an easy think to notice which elements he was actually attributed towards. Katon was not one of them.

Kiri no Jutsu was the Gensou Bunshin but as a Genjutsu. Why the need to learn both Kyōkan couldn't be sure. In truth it was actually worse, since the Kiri only lasted for a single frontal charge. Now Kyōkan was all for frontal charges but some substance to the charge was better.

Kiga no Jutsu was one of a pair of techniques designed to evoke a particularly devastating feeling. In the case of Kiga, that was hunger. Sudden, and consuming. It was difficult to think when overcome with that gnawing sensation. Shuusui knew firsthand, stupid survival training. Ultimately, however, Kiga failed when used on another Shinobi. Typical survival training included learning how to stave off or ignore hunger to get the job done. So, annoying but not debilitating. Nodono Kawaki no Jutsu was the other side of the that coin. Instead it replicated thirst. Just like Kiga, sudden and consuming. Distracting as you felt that your throat so dry it was cracking from the very hair you breathed. The issue was the same however. With enough experience with the sensation, you could muscle past it. Shinobi were trained to be able to push their limits like no other. Thirst would not slow them down enough.

All in all, a disappointing pair of techniques in Kyōkan’s opinion.

”I learned them yeah. As required.“ replied Kyōkan.

"How about Genjutsu of the Instance type?" Inquired the Jounin.

The very nature of Instance Genjutsu was about enhancing one of the other types. Which meant for Kyōkan it was more annoying that useful. A real blow would hurt you whether you believed in it or not, and these instance techniques were ultimately as substantial as smoke in the wind.

Raimei Wana Fuu was a trap genjutsu. That created a targeted warning signal that the user had intruders… Wait what? Useless on a bad day. Highly situational on a good day. Kyōkan had learned it but he didn’t see much potential use for it. He wasn’t particularly looking to be a guard after all.

Suna Arashi no Odokemono was a perfect example, all this effort in recreating a sandstorm to blind the opponent, thoroughly incapacitate. Only to be easily dispelled by simply rubbing one's eyes... WHAT WAS THE POINT THEN?! IF THEY FELL FOR IT THEY'D GET OUT OF IT IN A JIFFY. Kyōkan had strong opinions about the usefulness of this technique or lack therein of.

Etainoshirenai no Tsuujite created an odd effect. Creating the sensation of repetition or "deja vu" in its victim. In truth this was fairly benign and best executed from a position of utter stealth. In combat it was fairly useless and outside of it would require extremely important positioning. For a fighter like Kyōkan, it was fairly useless.

Doro Shissaku no Jutsu Was in many ways like the Suna Arashi no Odokemono. Very terrain dependent. The sudden appearance of mud would be easy to disbelieve if the terrain did not lend itself to making such a thing possible. It made the opponent believe that they were standing on slippery mud. Other issues was that the technique was to be layered as a seal rather than on the supposed victim. All in all, very unwieldy.

Okkuu Chiri no Jutsu was quite similar to the Suna Arashi no Odokemono. The difference was that it made the opponent believe there was a speck of dirt or dust in their eye. In the case of this technique, simply rubbing one's eyes was not enough to break the illusion. However, it was more of a distraction as the singular speck was not enough to blind the victim. All in all, trade offs in comparison to the Suna Arashi no Odokemono resulted in two techniques that were inherently sub-par in effectiveness.

Kyōkan could not believe that he had learned the Shonben no Jutsu. It simply made someone have the urge to relieve themselves. It was ill thought, ill made, and utterly inane. Kyōkan had been forced to learn it, and he was going to do his best to forget it. He would never admit to having learned this technique. Much like the Iwa no Jutsu. The terrifyingly clever illusion of “sharp rock”. Kyōkan almost rolled his eyes at remembering his utter disbelief in the technique's existence. Sure, perhaps the sudden appearance of a "sharp" rock might cause the shinobi to in their instant of distraction, to trip over themselves. Kyōkan highly doubted it. In fact, he hoped to never encounter such a ninja. Kyōkan would almost pray for it not to happen.

Sure, Kyōkan learned the Etainoshirenai no Tacchi but he never really got it. It made the victim ignore or not realize the "touch" of an affected object. Problem was… Kyōkan used a really big weapon. He really couldn’t believe that this technique would actually fire appropriately given what weapon he’d most likely use it with. Maybe if they were particularly dim?

Onkyou no Jutsu could be useful. The sudden creation of a sound of his choice could not only help layer the effects of a different technique, it could also distract from his real attack. Definitely could have varied applications. That said, Kyōkan would likely not use it. Such a technique required more forethought than he typically liked to display.

    “Passable.“ replied Kyōkan.

"Seems like there's not much to cover here. Let's move on to your weapon & physical training." Declared the Jounin.

Physical combat could be broken down into two general styles: Soft and Hard. Soft physical combat was about moving around an opponent, using their strength against them. Parrying a strike by deflecting the blow. Using their weight against them to send them flying. A way to nullify the opponent's strength without relying on your own. Especially useful if the enemy was in fact, stronger than you. The flip side to that was hard physical combat. Completely reliant on capitalizing on your strength to overpower the opponent. To take the punishment they threw out and meet it with an unbreakable defense. The worst insult you could make was not even budging when your enemy struck you with all their might. To laugh at that horror when their blow did nothing to you. Or the fear that would shine in their eyes when your own blow shattered through their block.

He had managed to do so quite effectively in a spar that he had been forced into against one of his more brutish cousins. This cousin had never forgiven Kyōkan for the beating he had administered the day he snapped under their bullying and antagonizing. If it hadn't been for Kyōkan's remarkable display, it was very likely he would have been exiled from the village instead of just the clan. The spar had begun normally, a few punches to gauge each other. Both Kyōkan and his cousin had been bigger than most of their age, well matched in strength. But Kyōkan had held the edge in speed. Soon enough, Kyōkan was landing blows his cousin had no hope of stopping. Desperate, his cousin had thrown a wild haymaker, Kyōkan had stepped into the punches path, at a point that the punch wouldn’t have enough power to actually hurt. The fist landed, but seemingly just stopped by Kyōkan’s bulk. His cousin’s eyes widened in fear as Kyōkan’s fist drove into his side.

For in combat, too many disregarded the mental. Focusing as they did on the physical capabilities of the combatants. If you persisted in maintaining a mental edge, it could result in gains that were directly applicable to the fight at hand. With proper thought an application, your combat abilities would be more effective. Well placed strikes with thought behind them, taking into account a variety of factors would allow for more efficient combat. In fact, to really unsettle an opponent, it was better to observe how they fight. Not only would it lead you to be able better read what move they'd make, but with enough observation... Well, with enough observation you could mimic how they fought. Perhaps not as well, since it was a shallow imitation. But sometimes that was enough. It could really get into a man's head if he saw a reflection of himself in his opponent. Especially effective if they know that you supposedly had no background/grounding in their combat style.

Projectile weapons covered many of the classic shinobi weapons: kunai, shuriken, senbon, etc. It also covered a variety of odder weapons, more... esoteric. Weapons such as throwing coins, sleeve rings, bows. All weapons reliant on range, aim, and steady hands. Kyōkan had little interest to them. He had trained in them regardless, they were required after all. That said, he wouldn’t neglect it though. They definitely had their place and use on the battlefield.

Small weapons were typically easily hidden. Much like projectiles. The difference lay in its use. These weapons would be primarily used in direct combat. A throwing dagger was balanced differently from a regular dagger. Subtleties that the typical layman would ignore but made all the difference for proper warriors. Kyōkan preferred his greatsword these weapons. If he hit, he wanted his enemies to feel it.

Medium weapons were the weapons that could be hidden with some difficulty. The Katana was a good example. Typically not hidden but of similar size to a cane sword, which was a hidden weapon. Many shinobi used such a weapons as these. Kyōkan definitely was interested in their techniques and approach. Mostly to see if he could apply it to his primary fighting style. He would admit feeling a little pull from these styles. Perhaps a backup weapon philosophy?

Large weapons were very distinctive and drew attention to themselves. There was much to be said of the variety of fighting styles available for such weapons. And, the benefit of range that they gave in close combat was magnificent. It even had advantages for dealing with multiple opponents. Kyōkan loved such weapons. His preferred weapon of choice after all was the greatsword.

He remembered the first time he had used one. It had been one of those “find your weapon” days at the academy. Kyōkan had ignored smaller, subtler weapons almost immediately. He had given the katana the old try but it hadn’t clicked with him. The guandao had suited far more but still felt off. So he had tried the larger weapons. It was the greatsword where Kyōkan finally got a glimpse of the feeling of a swordsman being one with his weapon. The few practices swings he took felt natural, like finding a lost part of himself. The subsequent dummies would have cried tears if they had been able to actually attempt to fight against Kyōkan and his blade.

Strange weapons covered explosives and improvised weapons. Explosives were always useful, but in Kyōkan’s opinion, so were improvised weapons. You had to adapt in fights. Maybe you couldn’t always be prepared for combat. In that case, you used what you had available. Kyōkan had heard stories of a Taijutsu master who was capable of wielding ladders as lethal tools. Not to say that Kyōkan was looking to emulate that man, but that degree of skill still impressed.

“I found where my focus would best lie when it comes to weapons.“ replied Kyōkan, with calm satisfaction.

”Well then, you have learned all that you could at the Academy it seems." declared the Jounin. ”Now. Show me the fruits of that training. Show me that you deserve to be a true shinobi of the village!" he demanded.

Kyōkan’s first move was to charge forward, unslinging his weapon free. The Jounin moved to block. The force of Kyōkan’s blow required the Jounin to block with both hands. He was unprepared for Kyōkan’s kick, which sent him flying backwards. The Jounin managed to catch himself in time to see Kyōkan attempting another overhead slice, he blocked it with one hand this time, which shot warning bells in his head. His eye grasped two things, one, that Kyōkan had swung the sword with one hand this time and two, that he had a Mizu no Yaiba already formed and slicing towards his side. He rushed to block it, forcing some chakra into the kunai in his hand to help. Kyōkan’s strike cut through the weapon and stopped just shy of digging into his side.

“Have I proved myself?” Kyōkan asked.

“Yes, quite… well done indeed.” commented the Jounin.

“I try.” was Kyōkan’s almost smug reply.

                                                      • Alyn shifted to sit comfortably against the building, his eyes closing as he felt sleep pulling at the back of his eyes lulling him into the darkness of unconsciousness. At first everything was nice and quiet, dark. The burst of light as he would open his eyes to a small child sitting on his chest, bright green eyes staring at him as a smile decorated a round childish face, "Alicat!" she squealed happily hand reaching forward to catch a bundle of white locks in a small fist. Agitation at being woken up rolled over him at first, but the soothing rememberance of the fact that this was his little sister Alice easily doused the annoyance. Reaching up and gently untangling her fingers from his hair he'd sigh, 'Do big brothers not get naps kid?" he questioned lightly. Alice smiled brightly, "Nope!" she laughed as she would slide off him and land on the ground.

He'd shift to stand up and find himself in the kitchen with a plate in hand while Alice sat in her chair patiently waiting for dinner. Placing the plate down she would squeal happily, "Big brother is best wife." she chittered. A scowl crawled on his face as he shot the seven year old a disdainful glare, "Yeah, no one's wife here kiddo." he snorted taking a seat next to her as she dug into the simple fried rice he had made for her. Hands splayed out over a blueprint that was suddenly under his palm, he'd blink as he looked it over with questioning eyes, "Isn't this...?" he wondered idly before he'd place the blueprint back down to realize his brother was sitting in front of him.

"Ya know Alice is getting bigger, ya can start leaving her home." he was being scolded, "What the hell do you know? Ya'll are hardly even around. Do you even know how old she is?" venom was spat at the elder male, "No, I don't. I have a life outside the house." his brother retorted calmly, "Havin' a life outside the house doesn't mean you forget yer family ya ******** head." his fist slammed down on the table to punctuate his remark as well as display his anger.

The table creaked under the hit and his brother didn't falter as he ran a hand through his hair, "Alyn, it's not healthy." his brother tried again, "Neither is ditching a little ******** kid." he seethed, his brother's hand reached out for him and he would only see the skin of his brother's palm. Expectation for pain had come, but nothing had struck him and he would soon open his eyes to see the white clouds over head scudding about in the deep blue vastness of the sky. What bad dreams.

Blue sky with dotted clouds was high above the area, he had slept for a little while and felt a lot better. He moved to stand up as he would rub his hands together deciding he should go back to building like before, nothing was truly wrong for the time being as he would gather his chakra up again. Normally for the sake of making every home special he'd go about and do them one by one, but he didn't have the patience when he was aware of the request to rebuild a whole residential district for the sake of this job. Forming a series of hand seals he would collect the image of a singular large building to act as an apartment building for those that left home and lived by themselves. Placing his palms to the ground he would inject the chakra and soon a rumbling much louder and more obvious then before would start.

Ground split apart as sheer black steel walls erupted from the ground standing extensively tall as a three story building erected itself in front of the male, he would huff as sweat beaded along his forehead again as the massive steel structure blotted out the sky before him. Taking in air as he would bring his hands away from the ground he would enter inside of it holding a single hand seal so he could freely manipulate the steel inside. Walking the length of the building as he constructed the bottom floor to hold a lobby area with an open cove to create a lobby area for the opened area. Metal slid along metal as the structure became solid and sturdy on the first floor, beams began to sprout along the floor and protrude up as holes formed and connected into the beam.

The building was shaped in an O with a courtyard in the middle and the building extending outwards with multiple small rooms along the floors, he had walked along the outer edge where the beams were pushing up into the balcony style walk way that was over head. Windows and door ways formed as he walked leaving him extra steel to use for more beams and railing along the outer edges of the structure. Gathering the extra steel once he had walked a full circle he would manipulate it into four different staircases and extended up to the next two stories seemlessly leaving a way up into the building. The sound of the roof sliding as it formed in place up top was a loud and rather irritating noise but necessary. Later on he was sure the roof would be tiled and insulated due to the heat the steel would eventually hold, but for a ready to move in home it wasn't bad at all, eventually someone would come along to most likely install various counters and appliances.

Walking up the steps he would continue on to create more and more rooms with windows and doorways, he checked the rooms carefully as steel slid out from the openings he made and moved along through the entierty of the second floor. He then moved to the third floor still manipulating the rooms into existance as he walked along, everything would be basically identical as he lined each floor with at least twelve rooms per a side to the O shaped building. A total of one hundred and forty four rooms within the entire building allowing for plenty of residents to move in. He moved back down the stairs and headed to the outer edges of the building doing a walk around as he crafted a balcony for each room extending out allowing for seperation between them all. Doorways opened up to let more airflow in and offer more natural light into the area.

Finally releasing the handseal he would breath out and move away to create more housing, he would plant his palms to the ground after another series of hand seals and focus his chakra into the floor. Three houses popped up within the area, all larger family homes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The steel homes were starting to make the area look more and more like a normal residential area, the large building offering even more rooms made it even better as it would house a lot of people easier, he thought about making two more just for the area with varying room sizes this time and just build houses out around them to keep them fairly seperated from each other.

Relaxing as he moved to another large and clear area he would rub his hands together while repeating the process from before, fingers dug into the earth as a large six story building rose up from the ground causing him to almost flop down onto the ground right there. Taking in a deep breath as he looked at the giant metal building he would form a single hand seal and immediately create a doorway and clear holes for windows in a uniform manner on the face of the building as well as on the back of it as he already designated where the rooms would be. He stepped inside the large building and focused on creating the lobby area with various coves and two seperate large back rooms.

Stairs sectioned themselves off on the sides of the building and led all the way to the top, he would create a door into the stairway and walk up it adding windows every other floor to allow natural light into them, but kept them away from the doors that would lead into the vvarious floors. He started from the top and crafted six rooms for the floor, three on each side and provided them with four two bedroom spaces and two three bedroom spaces with two bathrooms per a room and kitchen space allowing for a large family to stay and live in if needed. The floors and roof were thick allowing for little noise to really carry through unless one intentionally was trying to cause problems.

The next floor down matched the lay out of the sixth floor rooms and he would move along down to the fourth floor, he crafted eight two bath, two bedroom rooms, and a small kitchen for basic living. All the rooms were fairly spacious and just like the rest of the houses and buildings needed to be furnished and colored or customized to a families preference...he wasn't in the 'designer' business, just the architect one. The third floor matched the fourth allowing for multiple people to live in the large building, he would then finally make it down to the second floor where he put multiple one bedroom and bathroom rooms with a small kitchen. Walking through the first floor as he checked around with a keen eye to make sure he missed nothing.

Taking a breather he would start to form more homes to fill out the area forcing another five buildings out of the ground to surround the larger apartment building all of them facing various ways. He would check through them with ease adjusting things as necessary to guruantee the houses were sturdy and individualized enough to not be like each other completely. All the houses were different styles and shapes allowing for more creative opportunity for those that choose them as their humble abodes. Mismatched eyes burned with agitation as he would realize he was exhausted again, though he was rather proud of himself this time as he had managed to erect a lot of housing in such a short time, the village would probably be pleased when the houses were fully furnished and complete.

Alyn relaxed in the last home leaning back against one of the walls as he felt the need to sleep come upon him again, his eyes drifted close as he would pass out again. Eyes opened to stare at an orange head of hair bent over one of his arms, he could see the start of flower drawings roaming all over his upper bicep and trailed down into...what was she making now. He sighed as he held still, "Ya know, there is this wonderful invention called paper." he grunted while staring at the orange head of hair, "My mistake, your skin is just like it." she shot back before shooting him a mischevious smile and going back to drawing. He snuffed, "Who taught you to be a smart a**?" he complained languidly back at her, "Golly gee, I wonder what bad tempered-" she was cut off as he grabbed her nose and pulled, "Ow ow ow! I was kidding!" she whined in a nasally voice.

"What was that chipmunk?" he questioned, "Uncle! Uncle!" she smacked at his hand ti'll he let go, a crooked grin pulled across his face at the now red nose of his younger sister, "Geez." she groaned rubbing the reddened flesh in annoyance before...yep going right back to drawing on him. Alyn huffed as he attempted to move his arm only to get hands firmly clamped down and pressing down on his forearm to keep him from moving, "Stop it! I'm not done!" she chided angrily forcing him to lean his head back and sigh loudly, "Yeah yeah grumble all ya want!" she snorted, "Maybe I should just tattoo the ******** on so you can't draw on me anymore." he stated snidely.

Alice's face looked up wide-eyed with excitement, "Really?" she squeaked, "Ah s**t, I was kidding." he turned her down immediately, but she pouted, "No, now you gotta! I'll make some really nice ones next time." she stated, "Ya know those things are ********' permenant right?" he questioned, "That's why I'll think really hard about what to put on you!" she chittered happily. He sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck with his free arm, "Screw it, what's the worst that could happen anyways?" he murmured as she would squeal excitedly. Alyn grimaced as the child hugged him tight.

The scene shifted to him staring in a mirror at the cluster of well drawn roses on his neck, the pale skin was reddened all around the new tattoo, "Hmmmm." he was thinking about what to say. Alice stood nearby having aged up to sixteen now, "That one is my favorite by far." she stated holding the small needle in her fingers, "Do you like it?" her voice dropped slightly in bewilderment at the question, "I do, strangely enough." he remarked giving her a grin, "Just need some koi fish and sakura to make it even more girly." he snickered before Alice smacked him in the arm, "Don't tempt me!" she laughed before she wrapped her arms around his waist, "Thanks big brother." she mumbled. He grimaced in response, "I bet it burns." she snickered, "Why you little..."

He woke with a start as he had realized that he had laid in a sun spot, skin was pained by the heat as he would roll out of the light a grimace on his face, he murmured rubbing his face as he would stand up again. He needed to do a little more and then he could call it a day, he would walk out into the area again and crack his fingers feeling rested once again. Imagining this last big building he would create a series of hand seals and placed his hands upon the ground. The earth rumbled and split as black walls once again rose to create a two story building that spread out wide along the area allowing for a nice low building with more space behind it to create homes.

The building was allowed to house huge windows and multiple doorways. Creating multiple rooms on the bottom floor, roughly twenty, one bedroom and bathroom places were created along with spacy kitchens and living rooms for better home living for those that wanted it. The walls were thick between the rooms and allowed lots of privacy for the occupants, he created ten larger two bed two bathroom spaces on the second floor and collected all the extra metal. He implemented stair cases between each of the rooms allowing for people to get into the rooms. The long building was designed with all the doors on the inside, the building was seperated by the stairs as well allowing for covered hallways and entrances to the rooms to offer more privacy for the occupants. Part of the bottom floor was crafted for use of a lobby.

Alyn breathed out hard as he would finish up the last big building meant for multiple occupants and moved on to create more homes. Pressing his hands together he would take a deep breath while focusing his chakra, this was the last bit he could do for the day. Forming his string of hand seals he would press his palms to the ground and it would shudder to craft ten more homes from the ground, they rose sporadically around the area, large family homes that were two to three stories high depending on the home. Rising from the ground he'd track each one down and make sure it was sturdy and safe to live in, extra metal slid away for the doors and windows and he would pile it next to the homes for use in other housing.

Appeased with the days work he would climb up one of the houses and sit on it while thinking of where to place larger family residences. He was aware of the big bloodline families like Hyuuga and the like, they tended to stick together in bigger layouts, he'd probably design those next in order to allow for large...really large families like that to live in peace around the residential area without having to share with outsiders. The idea to him was annoying and stupid, but he could understand the want for privacy, long as it was ordered he supposed he didn't care all too much. He leaned back on the roof and finally just passed the hell out for the day...the first thing on his agenda when he woke up would be food.

18 Houses, 3 Big a** Apartment Buildings, did 8 Paragraphs of sleeping to regain chakra between, need to do 4 resting again.

Her stoic expression watched, tail squirming around with interest and curiousity. What was this strange technique? Was it something that could be done of her own accord? Things to think about and- oooh! A butterfly! Her attention was torn while she stuck her tongue out in hopes of the insect to land on. With a little luck and patience, the beautiful insect perched on the pink tongue of Makara. Yet instead of simply chewing it, the creature would remain motionless for it to enjoy. It wasn't until the approach of the man that she had moved. The water sword pierced the skin, causing Makara to fall back from her lack of attention. The butterfly thankfully flew away as she looked down at the damage. A shallow cut of skin.

Her eyes widened at the sight of blood, something clearly shifting within the woman. Her nails would be placed at both arms and then rake herself, creating larger gashes of skin. Nothing too severe, but enough to start fighting for real. Her offensive began by poking holes into her palm, some blood leaking out that would fashion itself into the shape of a desk. After a simple flick of the wrist, it sailed towards Saekki, whirring as fast as the blade of a saw. With her other hand, she held it towards him and would fire a volley of small but sharp needles covered in her blood at the out of practice warrior.

Plague wander into the castle quietly as ever, following the crowd of misplaced villagers. Her face, hidden beneath a fringe of dull purple bangs, was as passive as ever to anyone who happened to glance at her. Her mask, though it was in tatters, was still on her face hidden mostly by her bangs. She was to stunned at the recent events that transpired to care much for her strange fear. Her home was not just destroyed, but practically obliterated by more than just a roving band of rouge ninjas. Meteors had fallen, a volcano had erupted. It was astonishing to think back on what all had actually happened. Now that Shuu was safe within the castle walls Plague was at a loss of what to do. She stood apart from the rest of the crowd unsure of where to go or what to do with herself. Without her book it was impossible for her to communicate correctly with anyone at the moment. She let her feet carry her away from the crowds to find Shuusui.

It didn't take her long to spot the red head along with some older man in the midst of what appeared to be actual training. For a second Plague believed that she had stumbled upon the wrong red head or perhaps hit her head somehow and was seeing things. As she watched however it was clear that it was Shuusui and not someone else. She watched as he managed to overtake the jounin who was mentoring him for the time being. She hadn't seen everything that had transpired, but even she could tell that whatever Shuusui's skill had been prior to this moment was obviously more than the jounin had anticipated. The way even he had been startled was enough even that to an untrained eye could see. She remained for a moment before silently stepping away from her newly determined friend.

She ducked back down the way she had come from to find an empty room. Plague leaned against the wall and let out a heavy sigh. Looking at her hands she stared at the stiches at the joints on her fingers and wrists. She had always found her body more than a little strange. Though she had no qualms about her body being literally being stitched together at times she knew it was off putting to most of the world. Though she never really cared to admit it that was perhaps the reason behind her always covering herself up. She didn't want to scare anyone. Especially someone who might need her help. Seeing Shuusui finally get a grasp on his own feelings, whatever they may be, made a weight on her shoulders she didn't know was there lift a little. Looking around the room she was in Plague managed to find some loose papers and a pencil scattered about. There was no way she was about to start speaking. No need to push oneself beyond her limits in one go after all. She walked out of the room, jotting down a simple question as she walked. She went from person to person holding up the paper asking if their was a medical jounin any where that could help her.

Eventually she managed to track down a jounin who could help her in eiseijutsu alone. There was no need to bother learning anything more at the moment. Plague's sole purpose at the moment was to stitch wounds. Not to be in the middle of the fight itself. There was no need for her to be bothered with learning the one element that she could use naturally at the moment. "Come with me." the jounin said leading Plague to where the injured had been taken too when they arrived in the area. There were numerous people with various injuries and an obviously thinned mass of trained medics. "We'll start with the basics and work our way up." Firstly the Jounin showed Plague how to properly clean her hands before performing any kind of healing even if ninjutsu was used in place of actual tools.

When the Jounin deemed Plague's hands clean enough they walked up to a young man who had a rather nasty cut on his arm. Plague instantly recognized the man was in need of stitches. It was much the same wound that she treated Shuusui for before. Though stitching was literally in her blood Plague listened to the far more efficient way to mend veins. Plague followed the instructions to the letter. Although she was merely going off muscle memory. The Jounin took notice and stopped talking as Plague quickly mended the cut with her thread and needle. When she was done Plague stepped back from the injured man and slightly looked at the jounin, waiting for the next wound.

The jounin finished inspecting the man tending to whatever else needed her attention before looking back at Plague. "Stitching must naturally to you. That probably won't even leave a scar." she said, motioning towards the thread work on Plague's hands. Plague said nothing in response, but wrote down and showed her instructor "Stitches hold me together. Who needs tending to next?" The Jounin rightly ignored the first part of the response and lead Plague to the next injured person.

Next was a young lady who was out cold. She had no visible injury that Plague could see, but according to the Jounin the woman, a kunoichi, was incredibly low on chakra. To the point of it being life threating. "I'll assist you with this one." The Jounin said placing her hands just over the woman's body. Plague followed suit, grateful that she wouldn’t have to expend her own limited source of chakra and stamina. The Jounin's chakra a typically green glow appeared moment later followed by Plague's chakra. Her chakra literally bubbled out of her hands and fell onto the woman like some kind of gray slime. Those around her looked at Plague strangely, but found the young girls' face as impassive as ever. No one said anything. And Plague didn't bother to look at their faces. Not until the kunoichi slowly regained consciousness. Plague stepped back as the Jounin took over from there and the woman's family or friends happily assisted. The Jounin turned to Plague with a nod of approval.

Plague and the Jounin moved onto a young man who was experiencing muscle pain, possibly from all the stress and strain of recent events. Plague could understand how that felt, even she was stressing out though it didn't show on her face at all. The jounin showed Plague where the pressure points were and how much pressure to apply to relieve pain instead of inflict it. The medical pair worked on the man, who had a sprained ankle at some point. After a few minutes the man finally started to feel some relief. Plague gently set the man's foot down, elevating it slightly so that it wouldn't swell any more. As she did this the man asked her if it was broken, to which she dug out the paper and pencil and simply wrote down "No." There was silence from those around her for a few moments before the Jounin elaborated to the patient that it was only a bad sprain.

The Jounin took Plague away from the others so they could speak privately. A few moments passed by without any words spoken. Plague could only imagine that the Jounin was trying to word the question with consideration to her feelings, couldn't find a way to do that and bluntly said "Why don't you speak? As a medical ninja having bedside manners is somewhat important." The bluntness of the question didn't bother her, but it did cause her to stare down at her feet. For a brief moment Plague considered not answering the Jounin. There was no reason she had to answer. She could have just left the training then and there if she wished. But for some reason Plague didn't just want to dismiss this person after all the techniques she had learned. She slowly wrote down her answer on a fresh page before handing it to the jounin. The Jounin read the paper, was silent for a moment, and then handed it back to Plague. "Okay…well I suppose it doesn't matter much if someone else is with you. Let's move on." the two went to the last patient as Plague crumbled up the paper and tucked it into a pocket.

When they arrived the patient was already in some kind major distress. As they got nearer they could see he was suffering from some kind of wound in his side. A shard of wood or something had embedded itself possibly from one of the numerous falling objects that had decided to rain down upon them. "Why has this not been removed?" The jounin questioned some bystanders as Plague got to work removing the cloth and previous bandages. She cleaned the blood that was present as best she could not really listening to the conversation. Whatever the cause was the Jounin soon instructed Plague on how to remove the object in the man's side. She placed her hands lightly on either side of the injury per the Jounin's instructions. Her strange grey chakra manifested once again as she carefully removed the shard from the injury. It only took a few moments to remove the shrapnel but it felt like a long time to Plague. She cleaned the wound further before rebandaging it.

When she was finished Plague was once again taken away from the crowds to be spoken too. The Jounin got straight to the point. "Why do you want to be a medical shinobi?" asked the Jounin. Plague made no move to answer for a moment before she jotted down "Because it was my duty to my family." she showed her answer to the Jounin who took it and pointed out the past tense in the sentence. "And now?" The jounin asked quietly. There was no hesitation from the young lady this time. She wrote down her answer quickly, but added more than what the Jounin expected. "To protect my friend and aid this village in any way possible." The second half came to her mind as she remembered the previous kage and the villagers who suffered at the hands of those who attacked. Shuusui was always at the front of her thoughts, but he wouldn't always need her there. As a medical shinobi there was no way she would stand by and watch a person suffer if she could end it. As long as her body could hold itself together she would always be there for any one who called themselves a villager of her home.

The Jounin, though she couldn't see Plague's face, could see a slight shift in the way the girl was holding herself now. It wasn't a unheard of answer, but the girl obviously got some determination out of it. "That's all I can teach you for now. You already know the basics from the academy and family teachings." The Jounin bowed to Plague, who bowed in return before they separated.

Plague walked away heading back towards Shuusui and the poor Jounin who had become his training dummy. She arrived back at the training area they were using to see that Shuusui had pinned the Jounin at some point. They spoke to each other, but as she still stood away from the pair she couldn't hear what they said. Not knowing how much longer this could last Plague sat down on the ground, back against a wall to watch silently.

tab One of her clones came running out of the stonework of the castle with a face of mild panic and exhaustion. Ever since the real Lahlil had left the clones behind to help settle the citizens it had left these poor little shadows spread thin, this particular one being completed out of chakra, was only useful now as a messenger. Stopping just a tad shy of Sadayo the clone doubled over, hair disheveled, and trying to catch her breath. Could clones run out of breath? “Sadayo! There you are! …oh whew... just a sec.” Taking another break to let out one last wheeze she continued. “Sorry, I had meant to inform you before except that I had my suspicions that the man from earlier was a rogue. I do have a mission that I need handled by someone with.. well a professional touch! That is, if you think you’re up for it?” Her questioning tone came hand and hand with a smile that was meant to dispel any suggestion that her words were anything but genuine. The importance of the task was immeasurably if they were to make a home here and Lahlil considered Sadayo the most talented Jounin of the village.

“Oh right! You probably want to hear about it first huh?” Looking around to make sure none were in the vicinity to eavesdrop, the Lahlil clone closed the gap between them so that she might be better able to whisper in her ear. “Reports suggest that we are facing threats from every direction. The real me has gone off to deal with troubles in the western forests, Masato himself went off to the southern stretch, but I need someone intelligent and skillful enough to deal with the eastern side of things.” Letting the gravity of the situation speak for itself Lahlil fell back to let her digest it all, while also making sure to put on her happy face once more. “You can feel free to take a team with you if you like! But please try not to let this information spill out, as I really don’t want the citizens having even more to worry about after just having escaped a volcano.”

The giant snake man stood unflinching even when Zahara appeared in front him having crossed the distance in time. Face impassive right up until the attack went through his body to reveal him using the same level of speeds the hyuuga had shown just a second earier. A thunderous roar of laughter echoed from around Zahara who, if he took the time to look, would see six clones all surrounding him in a evenly spaced manner of about twenty five feet. “Come on kid, at least keep it interesting! Hahaha.” During his words and a little after each of the clones hands lit up with a hyper -dense amount of chakra. Throwing his hand back the snake man punched outward with all his force and launched six grapefruit sized orbs per clone at the hyuuga. With his byakugan active Zahara would be able to see the power behind these orbs were all relativity the same, suggesting that these clones were not some illusion.

      Perfect Mirror Image Circle
      Rank: S :: Spiritual
Description: Paying the cost of this technique at the same time they prepare to use a simple or complex technique on the opponent, the user creates two mirror images of themselves per rank of the technique that surround the opponent with roughly twenty feet distance between them on all sides. These mirror copies of themselves are tangible and each require a D Rank technique or higher to destroy singularly. When the user attacks, all copies of the user attack in unison, executing D rank copies of the parent technique. If a mirror image copy is combated against with chakra/stamina of equal rank and potency, it is destroyed while ignoring it's attack.

      Cicada Shell
Rank: B :: Training (Free use of clone replacement)
Description: After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation.

      Shotgun Fist
      Rank: B :: Complex (+12 strength DR, +6 active strength from armor = 9 Affecting) - B rank nin x6
Description: The user flows chakra into their fist, allowing it to form a dense orb around the fist. Shifting with all of their weight and power the user throws a punch, allowing 6 of these fist-sized chakra orbs to fly off like projectiles. Due to the lack of mass to the chakra orbs, they fly at a greatly increased speed, roughly 3x the speed of the user's punch impacting at the strength of a twice the user's punch. These orbs can travel thirty meters before dissipating. Due to the versatility of strike, the user can impact one person with multiple targets, or impact up to three people so long as their are in one direction from the user.

      Kaiser Armor
      Rank: S :: Spiritual (Ongoing)
Description: The Kaiser armor is a staple of the style. In it's base form it is not visible to the naked eye but chakra floods every inch of the user's body. While active, the armor prevents damage equal to it's own rank. In addition, it prevents the user from having their DR decreased below their natural passive states. This armor lasts for three posts at C rank and an additional post for every rank additionally applied.

Luck was on Saekki's side as he finished his attack unscathed. Pleased with himself for landing his hits on and breaking the skin of his opponent, Saekki narrowed his eyes and smiled. His smile was soon wiped off his face, however, when he saw Makara's next move. Anticipating this self-inflicted pain was without reason, his body tightened, and his instincts told him that... perhaps he had maybe poked a hornet's nest.

Saekki raised his sword in a defensive position and steadied his stance as he waited to see what Makara was going to do with her preparations. Shinobi were strange characters. He didn't dare to simply rush right in.

Touei no Jutsu [ Flickering Light Technique ]
      Rank: E
Official Description: Charging electrical Chakra throughout the entire body, the Shinobi makes his or her skin light up brightly. With an additional five Chakra, the user can control this bright glow to make the light flicker, using it as a code or a signal. An additional five Chakra allows the user to create a flicker so bright it can blind anyone who looks directly at him or her for a post.
      Guild Description: See official description.

He did, however, dare to strike as Makara struck. As soon as he registered the simple technique, Saekki moved forwards himself. With a flourish, his defensive posture shifted, and instead of blocking, his sword twirled for a spin in his hands. The blade made of water caught the light, and electricity surging within it seemed to amplify said light until it became a blinding flash. [1/1]

      • Small Weapons
Under cover of the flash, Saekki ran forward. Overconfident, he didn't mind that the earlier attack had reduced the size of his water blade to something more akin to the size of a dagger than wakizashi. In his head, in the memories of his body, he had already planned that he only needed the small blade to block the spinning blood frisbee of doom, then would weave through the incoming blood projectiles all before Makara would recover from her blindness. His dagger collided with the blood disk in an embarrassing miscalculation. [1/1]

When the blinding effects of the flash received, Makara would see Saekki rather inelegantly crashed into a metal shack of a house and then subsequently peppered by the needles of blood. It appeared he had weakened the saw of blood enough to be hit by a blunt impact rather than a slicing impact. The force had sent him flying, and while he was still recovering from the blow to his back, he hadn't been able to do much more than raise his arms to block the blow of the needles from hitting anywhere vital.

Kawara Shuriken [ Roof Tile Shuriken ]
      Rank: X (Learned as E)
Official Description: Kawara Shuriken is a Ninjutsu technique in which the Shinobi uses their Chakra to levitate nearby roof tiles. Once levitated, the tiles are hurled towards the target similar to a shuriken.
Guild Description: See official description. The amount of chakra determines how fast and hard the tiles are thrown. Can levitate up to five [5] tiles per use.

When his arms lowered, he glowered furiously. Although, angry wasn't the right term to describe it. No, rather, he seemed to be back to grinning with ferocity, pumped up with adrenaline and the pain. Oh no, he wasn't happy to get hit. However, getting hit was part of any good fight, and he did enjoy a good fight. To cover himself as he stood up, Saekki arms raised up and over his head before slamming his palms down into the ground on both sides. The force sent the debris rattling, and before they resettled, Saekki swept into a crouch, his arms sweeping in an arc around him as he raised his body. His chakra sent the various shattered remains of roof tiles around him flying at Makara while Saekki stood the rest of the way up. [1/1]

Cocky little b*****d he was, he even picked up a rather slender piece of metal he happened to see near him and put it in his mouth to chew on. What? Dangerous? Dirty? Eh. Saekki had put worse in his mouth before.

                                                        • Alyn had been thankfully comatose for a short time, enjoying the sunshine on his skin as he would dream of the past that he treasured quite dearly. Eyes only snapped open when the sound of metal scraping upon metal and the sound of it bending from sudden impact caused the other to rise from his sleep and glance over to where a cluster of dust was accumulating. Jumping down from his building and walking over leisurely he would glare at the sight of the destroyed little shack and the sight of...was that idiot chewing on black steel? Appalled by the sight he'd raise a single hand sign as the metal seemed to dissolve into grains of sand right in the male's hand. The black powder shifted away along with the rest of the metal building before it would suddenly spring up around him and form a box right under his feet. He'd release his hand sign and promptly....walk the hell away. He didn't care if the male was in a fight, he broke something, so it was suitable punishment.

                  Zahara
                  Half-Blood Hyuuga

                  ... I am the Serpent ...

                • The single blow whiffed through a rather convincing body double of the creature as Zahara's punch ejected large amounts of chakra, the energy spilling out into the ground from the pressure it produced. However, his eyes were already tracking the manipulation of both Chakra and the presence of his adversary. Now he wheeled around on the heel of his back leg, turning about with a stern look mixed with annoyance, his opponent was quicker than they seemed as the hyuuga half blood rubbed his cheek with the index finger knuckle and cracked his neck upon seeing multiple copies. It wasn't the first rodeo in which he had to deal with multiple angles of attack, he was quite... gifted in being able to handle such odds. A collective of orb based energy attacks came careening in on his position as Zahara breathed in deeply as he made no move except he flexed his muscles as the multitude of attacks came into contact with him. Chakra suddenly flared alive as red energy sparked and flames swirled around the man's body as he let out a ear-splitting yell, his chakra causing a depression in the ground and then the hostile sphere's of chakra were distigrated as Zahara moved his arms outwards and his entire body erupted. A sphere of white-hot chakra and fire pulsated outward with a thundering boom as the ground was rippling out from its wake as Zahara combined the use of his Bakuton chakra and Hyuuga kekkei genkai to create a volatile explosion. In the center of the eruption he had commenced a spin as released a torrential maelstrom of raw chakra as the torrent of chained explosions threatened to engulf the snake man and his copies while. The rotational attack would quickly die down upon its use as all would be left of the ground and nearby flora would be a scorched waste.

"Alright. You got me using both of my abilities now." Zahara said as he tore the bandages off his left arm and kept his Byakugan alive.

Were humans usually this violent when mating?! None of these hit looked playful to her and the closer the bear inspected this woman the less she was convinced that she was human at all! Fur bristling Honey charged into the fray full force. The full weight of her body diving into the ground like a one ton land shark the great kodiak went in for a surprise attack from beneath. duunnn dunnn. .. duuuunnnn duun... Chakra radiated off him as he would focus hard and start to gather it in his palms, he placed his hands to the ground and immediately the entire area around him started to rumble and shift, everyone within the area would be able to feel the tremors rolling through the ground as the sound of metal breaching through the ground resounded loudly. Buildings rose tall into the air, houses, miniature sky scrapers and shopping centers seemed to suddenly rise from the ground. The loud screeching of metal against metal resounded loudly into the area as anyone caught in the construction of the buildings would be lost in alley ways, or find themselves on top of the crafted buildings. Shingles sounded lightly as they formed on the numerous black steel buildings that had arrived from the ground and shifted about creating rooms and doorways, extra metal slid away into the alleys before seeming to move along the ground and create even more buildings within the area. A large academy had popped up under the bear and her target while the box that trapped the other man would be propelled upwards to the top of a building and opened down into a staircase leaving the trapped man with the ability to escape now. Alyn sighed as he sat down after raising the now large labryinth of a miniature part of a town up high. All those who had been caught in the sudden transformation would be unharmed if not blatantly confused by the sudden rising of the buildings.

Claiming 27 C-rank buildings worth for the use of 500 Chakra, this is a non-combat post I am not involved in any fight, but I did make it more annoying <3

A box... huh? And it had formed right around him? Saekki called shenanigans. However, he didn't mind being encased. He only wished that there was a way out. The lack of personal freedom made him quite uncomfortable. Nevertheless, he sat in the darkness for a little bit and reflected on his situation. How had it come to this? What had happened? As he reflected, he also rested, gathering his strength.

Mizu no Waruasobi [ Trick of Water ]
        Rank: E
Official Description: A very simple technique which involves a simple flick of one's hands and a muster of sweat in the fingers. A precise flick comes from of the hands or even a shake can be made as if trying to get something off one's hands. The water streaks from the hand of the user and towards the enemy's eye. This unexpected irritation can blur their vision.
Guild Description: See official description. Slight decrease to opponent's reflexes for one [1] post if it makes contact with the eyes. Otherwise harmless.

As long as he was trapped in here, he could either wait for someone else to release him or release him. A little suspicious of this container, he formed water at the tip of his water and flicked it at the box to make sure it didn't have any nasty side effects. [1/1]

Uo Tsuba [ Fish Spit ]
        Rank: E
Official Description: A simple jet of water shot from the mouth. It can hit with enough force to stun you if it hits properly. It can be done up to 5 times in succession, or one jet can be shot. To give an example of its power, Mist academy students usually use this technique to play a game much like tag.
Guild Description: See official description. Each of the five hits possible per use of the technique reduces the opponent's activations for the following post by one [1]. If three of the five hit, the opponent is stunned for the following post.

Nothing happened. Okay then, time to break this thing down, then. Recalling the very basic of basics, Saekki took a stance. His body moved through flowing movements, centered about his chest. Focusing on his breathing, he collected his energy into his stomach, concentrating even through the rumbling that shook his dark surroundings. Then, with an exhale, he shot out consecutive jets of water at the wall. Weak. He grimaced at the lack of power for the attack, yet it did what he needed it to do. Seriously, what a weak- [1/1]

        Huh?...

        Huh what?

Bikou Ninjutsu [ Shadowing Stealth Technique ]
        Rank: E
Official Description: This technique allows Shinobi to follow their targets covertly. The manner in which the Shinobi shadows their target can differ from the basic hiding under a nearby object to using a Jutsu to turn oneself invisible.
Guild Description: Using this technique makes it more difficult for those of the user’s rank or lower to find the user while he or she is hiding. Effectively makes the shinobi less conspicuous, less noticeable, and allows them to blend in with the crowd for three [3] posts per use. Useful when tailing someone.

He wondered if he really did break down the box, or if it had simply opened of its own volition. Instead of the normal ground he had expected to see, Saekki found himself atop a staircase of steel. What manner of nonsense was this? Had he somehow entered a secret realm? No, more likely, he had been translated elsewhere? Saekki furrowed his brows. Whatever surge of excitement at this challenge he might have felt earlier now milled about uncomfortably. Honey... Where was Honey? He was separated from his Honey, and he didn't know where he was. He could only proceed carefully, stealthily, and sneakily. Enhancing his movements with his inner energy, Saekki started down the stairs. [1/1]

Mizu Kagami no Jutsu [ Water Mirror Technique ]
        Rank: E
Official Description: A simple Jutsu that allows the user to turn a quantity of water as small as a drop and as large as a small puddle into a mirrored surface. This can allow the user to see behind himself, and around corners with careful application of the technique.
Guild Description: See official description. Only lasts one [1] post unless an upkeep cost of the original cost is paid each post.

Cautiously, yet with swift steps, Saekki ran down the stairs. His narrowed eyes kept a careful watch, and his ears perked at the slightest sounds. When he reached a corner, he paused, and carefully laid himself flat against the wall before creeping slowly to the edge. With a flick of his fingers, a magic circle briefly appeared and was just as quickly replaced with a perfectly reflective dew drop. Using this mirror, Saekki looked for any intruders. [1/1]

In this manner, Saekki proceeded experimentally through the maze of buildings. Outside of the staircase, he found himself greeted by a familiar sky but unfamiliar landscape. On the ground, he saw no traces of anything familiar. Granted, he couldn't say he was really familiar with the old landscape either. However, up above, he saw the trees that still stood. They appeared to be the same.

Well, since he was kind of sure he hadn't been teleported to somewhere new and familiar, Saekki assumed Honey was still within his physical reach, and since he was now outside, Saekki didn't have to worry about collapsing the building on top of him. This strange construction that was in the way. Saekki cracked his knuckles as he smiled. He was going to punch through it until he found Honey. Who said that buildings could come between him and his companion? Making the loudest ruckus possible, gathered water out of the air and aimed it in a pressurized blast against the closest wall in the direction he thought Honey was in [Mizu Soujuu C-rank]. It was his maximum amount, and it toppled the building besides Saekki, but was still a poor show in his opinion. Nonetheless, he saw the silver lining. If he didn't feel like he was strong enough now, then he would just take this opportunity to train. After all, look at all these training dummies he had?~ Ready to go all out, he shouted in his loudest voice, "HONEY! I'M HERE! WHERE ARE YOU?!" before proceeding to make even more of a ruckus. Woohoo! He got to destroy things!

        • Large Weapons
He equipped himself with a sliver of the black metal, sticking it in his mouth like a toothpick, and the water he had just created, shaping it into a long, thin sword that swung down to demolish the next building [Mizu Yaiba C-rank]. He followed with another strike of the same blade on the next house. However, without the burst of energy from the creation of the blade and just his own muscles, he found his efforts lacking. It made only a dent in the building. [1/1]

        Youji [ Toothpick ]
        Rank: X (Learned as E)
Official Description: Youji spitting is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Leaf Jounin Genma. Though the toothpick looks like it might be a quirk of Genma's, it actually functions as a weapon in battle. Similar to a senbon, Genma can spit the toothpick at his opponents to injure them. He can also spit it at incoming projectiles to knock them away.
Guild Description: See official description. Useful in combination will other nail/senbon/needle techniques. The amount of chakra determines how fast and hard the tiles are thrown. Can fire up to five [5] needle-like projectiles per use.
Saekki backed up. He chewed on his toothpick a few times, his mouth moving like they were muttering incantations. Then, once he was ready, he spit the sliver of black steel out with speed and power that could only be explained as a spiritual technique. The sharp splinter hit the wall and bounced right off it. [1/1]

        • Projectile Weapons
Bounced right off it into Saekki's hands. Saekki caught the functional senbon. He gave it a twirl between his fingers and threw it shortly after. It should be noted now. The three places Saekki aimed at weren't just at some random, old place. Each aimed for a weak spot. This second strike of the senbon was no different. When it struck, the building wobbled. [1/1]

With a light punch, Saekki toppled his third building [Hard Formless E-rank]

... Unfortunately for him, he briefly blacked out right then and there. It appeared he'd gone past his limits without realizing it, and fallen right to sleep. Luckily, he was always quick to recover, and the tribulations he face in life only encouraged his speedy recovery. Saekki would probably be up again in no time.

It was probably also his pitifully poor energy reserves. Before anyone would know it, Saekki's eyes would snap open. It was, truly, a case of fainting and waking up the next moment. Appearing fully rested and ready to go, Saekki jumped up and rolled his shoulders, ready to resume punching his way to Honey... Pitifully for him, his lack of directional sense actually had him punching in the direction opposite of Honey... Sigh...
