There are billions and billions of stars!
Username: ABVirus Who are you entering with? Serenity Link to the RP you're using: n/a Prompt response: Serenity always had a connection with the stars, though it ran deeper than he thought. He loved the stars because he reminded him of his beloved fireflies, which flew around him more often than not and reminded him that he was not alone. He became nocturnal to see the fireflies come out and when he first saw the starry sky above, he thought it was filled with endless fireflies, before his Auntie Val taught him about stars and what she knew of them and the space they occupied.
Yet even before he knew of the stars, he had a connection with them, for his mother, not Ellie, but his biological mother, was a starry-eyed mini who loved the stars more than anything else. Luna was a delicate mare who wanted nothing more than to wrap herself in a cloak of stars. She loved the stars, she loved the moon and she loved Beetle, Serenity's father, too. Beetle did not like the stars, not until he met Luna. He was content with the study of glowing bugs, namely lightning bugs. When they met, Luna taught Beetle about the glowing stars and Beetle introduced her to the lightning bugs he called family. Soon, they would call each other family.
Of course, then the accident happened. The couple lost a basket and within that basked was Serenity. He was found later, by his Mama Ellie and Auntie Val, surrounded by fireflies on a starlit night. So you see, his love of the stars really does run deeper than he believes, though who knows, maybe one day his past may catch up with him.

Username: ABVirus Who are you entering with? Pavati Osmena Link to the RP you're using: n/a Prompt response: The closest that Pearl, as she liked to be called most of all, got to the stars was looking up at them whenever she surfaced during night. This wasn't very often, mind you. She typically came up during the day, when she could socialize with the land-dwellers. Night time was for sleeping, day time was for playing.
Yet some nights when she just couldn't fall asleep, she would find herself drifting to the surface. The sky is considerably more expansive from the ocean, you see, without any trees or mountains blocking it. So she would go to sleep counting stars and eventually find herself falling asleep and when she woke, not quite knowing where she had ended up, but enjoying the memories of her swimming through a pool of stars.

There are billions and billions of stars!
Username: Jackariah Beckett Who are you entering with? Darwin Link to the RP you're using: Prompt response: Darwins Hooves plodded through the wet sand as he walked along the beach. He was glad he had found shelter from the storm in an alcove in the cliff near by, but now that it was over, he could travel the beach freely. He had never seen an ocean beach before. Sure, he had grown up along the shores of a river beach, but this was different. So, so much more different. He took a deep breath of the salty breeze that blew his feathers to and fro, letting the crispness sting his lungs a little. He was glad now for the gift of his scarf from his mother.
He glanced at it now, a caress of a smile spreading across his lips. Truly deeply he treasured the little garment. He had not been gifted by the spirits like his brother to resemble his father. This scarf, this piece of cloth lovingly aquired by his mother, was a way to keep his father a part of him, as his mother was a part of him. There was no denying he was his mothers son when it came to looks that was for sure.
He tugged the scarf a little tighter around his shoulders to keep warm and headed down the shore once again. There were many things waiting to be discover in this new beach. And he was curious to see what similarities there where between his shore and this new one. Surely his parents, his father especially, would find the knowledge entertaining.
