but giants are like essential to one piece. thats like having dbz without saiyans

No, they really aren't...most all characters are human actually and there's been only a few giants that were plot involved. But regardless, they are too hard to regulate.

how is it hard to regulate? have them give a height then do range and distance proportionally to that?

I'll suggest civilian jobs yet again.

Ever thought about adding a bank to each blue.

Rulers should have the right to close the shop in their respective territory.

More privileges for territories in general.

BIG GUCCI NPC SYSTEM~
version 1.1

No longer should the guild play like a side scrolling beat em up. We're more suffocated then that. Players need NPC's not only to fill in vague and miscellaneous spots within the world, but also to accomplish tasks that they cannot do in person. Here's a list of things I think would make a good NPC System. My NPC system is based off of HV's in a sense that NPC's would have a full profile that they'll have to fill out. Perhaps we could have another profile thread where we can store NPC's.

- Upon creation the RPC is awarded [1 NPC] 3 NPC's, all NPCs share a combine exp however from what we've seen from the massive NPC forces used by Golden Lion Shiki, Whitebeard, or The Marines. As such the number of NPC is allowed to grow as their commander grows in exp. NPC forces can multiply by 10, 100, 1,000 as the RPC reaches 1 million exp, 2.5 million exp, 5 million exp. Caping at 1,000 npc combatants.

An alternate way to accumulate more NPC's is my conquering locations on the map. Each location a Crew or Individual is in control of, they will receive [1 NPC] to ask as their representative, assistant, bodyguard, etc

- While the number of NPC total may multiply, their total exp will be divided by their number. If a 1 million exp character, whom is the ruler of Rain Base in Alabasta uses his influence to muster up a force of NPC's he would gather 2 NPC's both whom would be at 500,000 exp respectively.

- NPC's gain exp at a much faster rate to RPC's simply because of their restrictions. NPC's will be awarded exp for simply staying alive. After the date of approval NPC's will be awarded [2,000 exp] each week it remains alive. It is the responsibility of the RPC to submit an exp update for their NPC characters.

- NPC's can be of any race an RPC chooses. However they regain no techniques from their race. Meaning an NPC fishman cannot use fishmen karate, an NPC Minkmen cannot use electro. However NPC's can receive stat boost from their respective races.

- NPC's must purchase items from the store, or another RPC. NPC's must update for items as outlined in the update thread

- The number of Items being used must be equal to the number total number of NPC's on the field. Meaning if you summon 100 men, and you want to equip them with swords, you must have Sword x 100 in your inventory and so forth.

- If an RPC wishes to travel, she/he must have a suitable vessel for their NPC companions. If you are traveling with RPC's they will take up space aboard your vessel. Make sure you have enough room to house your fleet.

_______________________________________________________________________

How do NPC's die?

- NPC's die when they are killed. NPC's start and max out at 100 hp. Items can be equipped to npc's to increase their defense stats, but all items still follow the item requirement

- NPC's will disperse if their RPC commander is captured by an enemy force.

- NPC's will die if RPC is defeated by a Sea King (Wait for Edo's Sea of Survival system)

- NPC's will die if RPC is defeated by a Bandit (Wait for Edo's Sea of Survival system)

- NPC's will disperse if abandoned (RPC doesn't have enough space to house all of them)
_______________________________________________________________________

Inter mechanics of the system. 8/22/17

NPC roles

NPC's fill a lot of the blank spaces inside the world, that's a given. However the depth of which they fill is extremely vast. NPC's were designed to take the place of Civilians of each island, low ranking marines/ government officials/ rebels. The system was designed for RPC's to influence the world while still continuing their story.

NPC Races

NPC's come in all shapes and sizes ranging from Minkmen to Long arms. each with their own racial abilities that aid in their survival.

- Human: beings are the dominant race in the world as they outnumber most other races and are usually among the most technologically advanced and organized of the races.

Perks: Receive an extra [1,000 exp] every week

- long-legs are a race of very individuals and because of this they are very tall and outsize the average human greatly (although they are nowhere near as tall as giants). In contrast to the Longarm Tride, however, they do not possess two kneecaps, but instead have legs that are between double and triple the length of a human's leg.

Perks: Speed boost of [25] points

- Longarm have two elbow joints on each arm, which results in them having abnormally long arms. Furthermore, all members seen so far wear Chinese style clothing, with a kanji in the front. The kanji varies from person to person. Other than that, they have the same appearance as normal humans.

Perks: [25] point boost in either strength or accuracy

- Kuja are a tribe of warrior females that originate from Amazon Lily. They are built tougher than the average human female and value strength over everything. For some reason, all offspring conceived by Kuja are female. Must be a Female to be a member of this race. A Kuja cannot be a man first and change into a woman.

Perks: Able to learn haki at [400,000 exp]

Exotic Races

- Skypieans Skyfolk are split between Birkan, Shandian, and Skypeian, with their differences only being body and wing shape. Birkan are usually larger, with more robust dimensions and larger wings. Shandian's are of darker coloration, more toned, with slimmer wings. Skypeian are of smaller size with smaller wings.

Perks: Able to learn Haki at [400,000 exp]

-Minks are humanoids with mostly animal features and with most of their body covered in fur. Similar to fishmen, each individual takes after a specific animal. Females tend to look more like humans, while males tend to look more bestial. In some ways, they resemble Zoan Devil Fruit users' hybrid forms. All minks are natural born fighters from a young age, and maintain their strength in old age along with the ability to use Electro. Minkmen doesn't have to come in just the furred variety as they can be any of the animal kingdom. Etc; avians, mammals, etc

Perks: Minkmen gain the "Animal" Free Trait, Boost of [30 speed]

- Fishmen are a species that dominate the seas. Appearance-wise, they are more "fish-like" than merfolk, looking like a cross between a man and a fish of the ocean such as a whale shark, manta ray, or sawshark; however, they still have legs (in fact, Decken has four). They also have gills between their shoulders and necks, sometimes covered by their clothing, as well as most having webbed hands. Depending on species, they may have multiple limbs (mainly extra arms). Their counterpart is Merfolk, both of the same category of sea creature. In most cases, Merfolk are more humanoid and some come with tails.

Perks: Fishmen gain the "Animal" Free Trait, Boost of [30 strength], debuff of [-15 speed]

Rare Races

-Giants They are a strong and almost unstoppable race. An average human cannot stand up to them, making them both ideal guards and deadly warriors. Throughout the series, characters are regularly aware of just what the power of a giant is. Oars' strength was said to be powerful enough to move continents, and his fearsome reputation was one of the attractions for Moriah that led to his desire to gain the corpse of both him and his descendant Oars Jr. to use their power to become the Pirate King.

perks: [+30 strength] [+15 endurance] [-20 speed]

- Cyborg A cyborg is a human, animal, or other life form that has been modified with machinery and metal for better functioning. These mechanical enhancements can include cybernetic replacements for missing organs or body parts, metal skin for extra protection, and weapons installed somewhere in the body.

perks: Enables NPC to equip store bought cyborg attachments, said attachments cannot be upgraded. Cyborg also grants a boost of [+25 Accuracy]

Note: Cyborgs may be combined with any base race listed above except for other Sub-Races.

_______________________________________________________________________

NPC's and the world.

As stated before NPC's are used to accomplish what a RPC cannot do at the current moment in time. A RPC Marine Captain can send NPC Marine choreboys over to attack a low level pirate in his stead. Characters are allowed to...

- Conquer, Raid, Destroy, and Reimburse with their NPC characters
- NPC's can also interact and exchange information with RPC's
- NPC's can be used to trade via the item update system

NPC's are not allowed to...

- Shop at stores
- Use another RPC's items
- Create Items
- Fish, Salvage, or Dive

BIG GUCCI EDO's
SEA OF SURVIVAL!~ ver 1

As we know the one piece world is danger, but endlessly so on the ocean. Since there's no need to travel from port to port anymore. Forcing RPC's to traverse an ocean with actual enemies. Some of which you will be forced to work as a team in order to defeat. The sea of survival's purpose is to provide lower level RPC's to farm safely from one another. While enforcing a sense of danger from each area.

When thinking of this I had in mind the old Devil Fruit running system. Except for each area in a blue. Let's use East Blue as an example.

Wanted Criminal
8,000,000 beli
HIGUMA
[Human :: Coward :: Escape Artist]
User Image
100,000 exp
Str: 30 II Spd: 35 II Intel: 0 II Prw: 0 II Acc: 10 II End: 20

Items:
Pistol - A Normal Grade pistol that adds +10 accuracy while equipped.
Rapier - A Normal Grade sword usually meant for thrusting. When using this weapon to thrust, +10 Accuracy.

Techniques:

1. Simple Slash: A slashing a attack that has a maximum rage of 10 feet from the user. Using this technique adds +10 strength.

2. Lightning Thrust: The user thrusts with their sword with all their speed, with a max range of 10 feet the user gains +10 speed during their use of the technique.

3. Gangsta Shot: The user fires their gun sideways, effectively reducing recoil. The user gains +10 ACC.

Victory Requirements: Defeat Higuma within 5 posts or he will attempt to flee.
Victory Reward!: 25,000 beli, 30,000 exp, Lord of the Coast's tooth.

I've created a little wanted poster for NPC villians, the point being i wanted to make the challenge emulate real combat as close as possible. Note this NPC is completely different then the ones in my previous NPC system. As such I will refer to them as TRIALS. The Trial NPC follows all of the combat guildlines. Starting with 30 stat points at 0 exp and working their way up in power. You'll see that Higuma has 100,000 exp but 90 stat points. As would a regular RPC at that exp range. Do not get caught off guard.

As for combat, you'll see that Higuma's move set is listed. When battling Higuma the user will generate a random number between 1-3 in order to decide what Higuma will be attacking next with. Please Note! when combating a Trial NPC, we're not going to undermine their combat ability simply because no one is playing them. If the Trial NPC has more DEX then the user speed, they will effectively dodge their strike, The npc has a dodge limit of 3. If the Trial NPC has more END then the user Strength, they will effectively block their strike, The npc has a block limit of 5.

Certain Trial Battles will have certain restrictions or victory requirements. These restrictions and or requirements will be based off of cannon, or in the event that someone makes their own Trial NPC to reign terror across the world, they will have free reign over what their respective Trial requirements would be.

However, Within the blues, their will be no NPC over 1 million exp. Within the Grand Line their will be no NPC over 5 million exp. Within New world.....

As you can see after Defeating Higuma the user will acquire a ther unusual item. The Lord of the Coast's Tooth. This item sets the East blue RPC for an interaction with another NPC, The Lord of the coast.

Nefarious Sea King
??? beli
THE LORD OF THE COAST!
[Animal :: Berserk ]
User Image
500,000 exp
Str: 100 II Spd: 120 II Intel: 0 II Prw: 80 II Acc: 10 II End: 20

Items:
N/A

Techniques:

1. Simple Splash: By thrashing around violently, a Sea king can create a massive wave of water 10 feet tall, and use it to bash an enemy ship. The power of the wave is the users Prowess, Divided by 2. The tech also adds +10 prowess

2. Mega Chop: A Item breaking technique, the Sea King chops down on whatever it set it's eyes on. Easily capable of biting through steel.

3. Water Gun: The user gobbles up a massive amount of water, then spews it at foes, with a max range of 20 feet the user gets a boost of +20 ACC.

4. Stone Scales: The animal's hide is as strong as stone. Making most physical attacks useless against his natural defensive ability. + 10 end

5. Submerging dive: The sea king is able to dive way down deep below the surface of the water to avoid damage for [1] post. then is able to reemerge anywhere within 10 feet of the enemy next post.

6. wahmbulance Animal Trait Ability- Razor Fangs: Biting attacks done do x2 wound damage wahmbulance

Victory Requirements: Must defeat the Lord of the Coast in order to leave east blue.
Victory Reward!: 150,000 exp, 200,000 beli.

By intertwining NPC's together you can create side-quests on top of your RPC's main quest. Just as Luffy usually does, your RPC will find themselves in the middle of that seem completely unrelated but equal up to a complex story line. I believe that a volume of Sea Kings can be created as well as dumped into the Ocean thread and made a requirement to defeat in order to gain access to certain areas like. Little Garden, Amazon Lilly, or Impel Down.

Sea Kings are a crucial part of the One Piece world and shouldn't be ignored. Just as Higuma would be the boss of Mt. Colombo, The Lord of the coast would act as the Final Boss of East Blue.

Finally I have a proposed Storm System that will create another element of danger within the world. Same as Sea Kings, Once entering the Ocean thread 1 must roll a 10 sided die in order to see what kind of struggles they'll face from Nature on their journey.

Natural Disasters

1. Heavy Rain- Poor Visibility, anything outside of 10 feet is nearly impossible to see without the use of Haki, anything outside of 30 feet is nearly impossible to see even with the use of Haki.

2. Snow Storm - Poor Visibility, anything outside of 10 feet is nearly impossible to see without the use of Haki, anything outside of 30 feet is nearly impossible to see even with the use of Haki.

- Frost Bitten, everyone on board the ship gets a debuff of -30 speed.

3. Thunder Storm - Poor Visibility, anything outside of 10 feet is nearly impossible to see without the use of Haki, anything outside of 30 feet is nearly impossible to see even with the use of Haki.

- Poor Communication. due to the eruption of thunder it is much more difficult to hear your nakama, Without a crew mate with [navigator] on board your crew if forced to return to the last island you were at.

4. Blizzard - - Poor Visibility, anything outside of 10 feet is nearly impossible to see without the use of Haki, anything outside of 30 feet is nearly impossible to see even with the use of Haki.

- Frost Bitten, everyone on board the ship gets a debuff of -30 speed.

- Frozen Sea, the waters are unforgiving icey. Without a crewmate with [Navigator] perk your crew is forced to wait 24 hours before continuing to the next island.

5.

Also, didn't see any specific cyborg info page listing cola or non-custom parts. If I missed it, can I have a link?

--Generate a random number from 1 to 2, to see if it appears by itself, or with friends. (If a two is generated, then generate another number from 1 - 10 to see how many show up.--

--Generate a random number from 1 to 17, to see what section of OP was attacked.--

9. Grand Line: Alabasta (Row Three)
10. Grand Line: Row Four
11. Grand Line: Water Seven
12. Grand Line: Florian Triangle (Row Five)
13. Grand Line: Row Six
--
14. Enies Lobby -Marine Only-
15. Impel Down
16. Marineford -Marine Only-
17. Sabaody Archipelago

--Generate a random number from 1 to 7 for reward--

• Free Forging Pot Weapon

• One-Time Use Eternal Pose (to anywhere in the line before Shabody Archipelago (except for Marineford, or Impel Down) RPC decides where it goes.

Just to be clear, the mod in charge of the system would make the rolls for the items to be rewarded, number of monsters, etc. and indicate that in the post.

Another suggestion: I believe that the classes (chef, blacksmith, navigator, etc) should be labeled as "jobs" and should have places and NPC's posted throughout the blues where RPC's can learn jobs per say. Maybe limit it where people can only have one job per RPC, but I think there should be a slot solely for that. Possibly that one RPC can learn multiple jobs, but has to master one at a time before learning another?

Cyborg parts don't have 'non-custom' variations anymore. Everything is custom/your own design now. As for rules on the Cola, that doesn't exist anymore either.

All relevant information you need should be located half way down this post for you, but feel free to ask any further questions afterwards as well.

I read that. Says up to 5 parts. Im just wondering if you can fit on more parts in some way later cause 5 is a bit limited to maintain for all of a cyborgs existence.

it is 5 parts "equipped". You can make and have as many parts as you can afford, but when you enter a fight, you must select only up to 5 to be currently equipped for that battle to avoid being overkill on parts and just having an answer for everything.

OH!!! Okay, last question on this. So if I have 10 parts (A,B,C,D, etc...) Upon entering a fight, I can chose up to 5 from any parts I own freely to lock them in for use for that fight?

The Custum Fruit's thread mentions a Maw where the fruits have to be ran for. Is it still around or do we simply update for one as this thread says?
