"Yeah, no kiddin'." She murmured, giving her a careful glance up and down, sizing her up. Glancing to her arms, it was true, they were toned and rather strong! Forera grinned. "That's so totally cool, me too!" She loved making new friends who could appreciate a good fight, fair or not. She grinned at Eostre's pat, allowing the pride to seep into her almost naturally. "Nah, Four Fronds ain't my style! The city is where it's at. Or the mountains!! Lovin' the rink, though. Do ya live here?"

It was hard to believe as she listened to the tealblood talk that anyone as high on the spectrum as she could be so casual about being tripped over. She could've been hurt, but instead she laughed it off as if it meant nothing. Guineamom had always instilled the idea in her that all highbloods were serious, powerful, and could be easily offended... was that not the case? Nahori was still on edge, she always was, but she calmed the tiniest bit.
In fact, part of her even felt momentarily inspired by the brash way her new acquaintance pushed off the wall with abandon, flinging herself out into the fray. There was truth to her words, though Nahori didn't exactly want to learn to skate in the first place. She was out on the rink now, mother was watching her, and there was simply no way out.
There was no way she could keep up with Emiola, not with the way her legs still shuddered and she fell a couple times trying to gain any sort of momentum at all. Still, she didn't do terribly, not like the first go.
"T-That was really g-good," she muttered when they were together again. Ah, her legs were shaking a little bit less now. "W-Wow, you're gonna be famous? That sounds k-kinda... s-scary..." It was hard to hold a conversation while trying to keep her balance and some semblance of speed, but she did her best.

"Maybe?" He said with a shrug, wondering if it had been. His sense of time was fuzzy and he wasn't in the mood to consider it too hard, just let it be for now as he followed her in. Wonderboy, though. That was a new nickname and he smiled. It was kind of nice.
He gave a gentle nudge back to Luxara as he entered, "I've been here before to know I'll be fine, thank you." He teased back, no real hurt in his tone. "There's a few games or we could skate, if you want. Not in a hurry, so just pick what you want," He offered, giving a small gesture to the inside.

Luxara graced Anguis with a quick zerbert directed at his person, then slid into the Skate Queen proper.
Lights. Sounds. Lights. Sounds. So much going on. The greenblood found herself needing a moment to take it in. Her forest could be loud, but not with a mix of troll voices and artificial noises pulling her attention all over the place. That wasn't even addressing anything blinking, flashing, and such. Startling and unnatural. And here she thought the ALG could be gaudy.
Luxara's eyes crossed. She shook her head. Okay, pull it together. If Ang thought this place could be fun, he had to mean it. Maybe she just had to find what all that was. She looked around, slowly perusing the scene. "Sure are a lot of wigglers here," she commented. What a place this would have been to experience as a child! Either she would've loved it or climbed up a shelf in utter confusion.
But, as a well-adjusted teenager, she kept her cool. A growing headache was a whole other thing, but it was nothing compared to many other experiences in her life. "Hmmmmm..." The wild-haired greenblood eyed one game booth after another, soon settling her gaze on an incredibly obnoxious simulation with a gun settled on the console. From what she could tell, it advertised hunting. "Is this a practice range for wigglers who're preparing for the hunts or something?" she asked with a slightly tight grin. "Or just weenies in general?"
What a silly contraption, she thought as she picked up the gun and figured out how to make it let her play instead of blinking some text about credits.
Holding the plastic shotgun in her hand, she tensed up during the on-screen countdown, and started shooting as soon as she was allowed.
"This is garbage!" she laughed, beefing one shot after another. She could swear the crosshairs weren't fast enough; the shotgun trigger was also laggy; the animals were not acting anywhere near with the sort of speed they would in real life.

"Well, you're certainly perserverant," Mera commented with an edge to her voice. She didn't see the point in fighting a hopeless battle. This crane game was impossible to win, but Elidae chose to waste more beetles. Perhaps she was in some sort of position where money meant nothing? But the principle of the thing...
The tealblood watched Eli try again, expression rather ambivalent. It didn't change much once her yellowblooded friend lost out again. "I did tell you," Mera said, although in an apologetic tone. The reaction, however, was surprising; Elidae seemed to be almost crying over the loss. This was just a toy, after all, and not even an exclusive. And they were in public. The world was not ending. She reached to hesitantly pat Elidae's head despite these thoughts. "There there..." Although taken aback by the moment, she wasn't necessarily surprised that the bow-haired kid was so emotional. Drama didn't seem unexpected in such a character.
Before a second could tick by, almost magically Elidae was back to her bouncy self. Well at least it wasn't a bad an overreaction as Mera thought, even though the moment left her somewhat confused.
Hemera blanched at Elidae's next proposal. "S-skating? Hmmmm... You want to do that already?" They were at a rink, specifically designed for the practice, but Mera was not looking forward to going for it in the least. "Are you sure you don't want to play anything else first?" She was stalling. Looking at the trolls skating around and around gave her vertigo, even standing far away on two solid feet. "We just got here and after your last tragedy, don't you think we should take it slow for a bit?"

Forera blinked, easily skating through the area with little to no effort. She actually didn't know how it was to hang out with a lowblood in public, surprisingly. Sure, Vulpin was her matespirit, but he was almost always hemoanonymous. It wasn't the same. "Never been 'round these parts with one. Only like, seen stuff happen to them. Totally shitty." Inwardly, Forera was feeling a slight amount of discomfort at her words. She could hear the slight annoyance in her tone when referring to the problems those with lower blood brought to her, and the scarred female slid a hand through her hair-- Well maybe, if the caste system wasn't a thing, s**t like that wouldn't happen! A small voice inside of her screamed, but she didn't let herself listen to it, right now. She was trying to make friends! Even if, um. She was sort of a highblood.
Forera (albeit slightly surprised by the friendly gesture) welcomed the arm, shifting her body slightly to face Eostre. Might as well be friendly! "Depends on your meaning of like, great." She mentioned-- "I totally need to find new places though. My old ones are like, so old, y'know?" That, and, if she went within a 5 mile radius of that area, a drone would probably stuff her a** in the punishment pits so fast she wouldn't be able to finish her scream of surprise. "I hear there're some good sights on Busthind. I actually really wanna go to Civisect, so oh my gog, def! Last time I went it was for like, Bloodfest. And that was sweeps ago!" Okay, not sweeps, but still!
