Skylar yawned softly, her leg was almost nearly healed which was a relief to her. She really found it quite annoying having to hobble everywhere with a stupid crutch at her side. Ace floated softly beside her, watching her to make sure that she was ok and didn't accidentally trip on a stray root. She looked over at him, and gave him a soft smile. It was finally nice to actually get some peace and quiet, considering what she had to deal with yesterday during club time. It pissed her off how Marco tried to do something because he thought she needed it, why couldn't he mind his own damn business? Sure he had done it because of her health issue, but still he could have had another reason to join other than to make sure she didn't expend too much life energy. Stupid Maria and her stupid member search, and what was up with the little contract and ritual she had them do? She rubbed her right shoulder unconsciously, as she thought back to when she had sealed the deal. Her shoulder had burned during the experience, and ever since she's had a strange feeling in her shoulder. She'd have to question Maria in more detail about what she did, so she could get to the bottom of this. On the bright side, she had enough members to make the club official so she probably should visit the club registration office when she got the chance to either later today or tomorrow when she had time.
She was drawn out of her thoughts, when she heard Ace rustle through the leaves as he seemed to pluck something off the tree. She stopped walking and looked up, as she tilted her head to the side softly. He seemed to be searching though the different fruit, before finding one sweet enough to eat. When Ace did find the perfect fruit, he plucked it off and started to munch on it. Skylar rolled her eyes "what not going to share?" she asked playfully, her arms on her hips. Ace stopped eating his fruit as he looked up at her, wide-eyed. Skylar couldn't help but laugh softly, as she noticed bits of fruit plastered on his face "we really need to have a lesson on manners, apparently you forgot most of what I taught you" she added, earning her an embarrassed blush from the small bat pokemon. Ace finished up his fruit quickly before finding a fruit for Skylar and delivering it to her. She thanked him and bit into it before eating it. It was sweet, just the way she liked it. Once she finished, she pulled out a napkin and looked over at Ace. She then pulled the small pokemon into her arms and held him like a baby before she dabbed the sides of his mouth "you really are a messy eater, you should try to eat more slowly you know" she commented, before she finished cleaning him up.
Ace puffed his cheeked, before squirming out of her arms embarrassed. Skylar just rolled her eyes, and started to walk through the forest again. However, she noticed Ace's ears twitch lightly as he looked towards another location. She grimaced and followed his gaze as she shook her head "Ace, you better not go over there- ACE!" she shouted, as her pokemon flew off. She really needed to discipline him, seriously this was the third time. He was SO getting a lecture when they got back to the dorms. Ace seemed to be doing this to get back at her for earlier, which irritated Skylar greatly. It was then she noticed Ace stop as he flew around a blue-haired boy rather curiously. She sighed, great more people she'd have to deal with. She just wanted to be alone, was that too much to ask?
She made her way over slowly, damn crutches, before she stopped to the side of the boy "Ace" she said, in a stern voice. Ace froze, before looking back over at a frowning Skylar. Ace watched as she crossed her arms, and raised a brow. He knew he was in trouble later. He whined, before flying back over to her side reluctantly. He loved Skylar, but there were time he wished she was more social. Once Ace was back over to her side, her eyes moved over to the boy "my apologies, Ace sometimes had the urge to fly towards whatever sound he hears first... it just so happened to be your movement that caught his attention first" she said blankly. She really wanted to leave, but it would be rude not to at least hear his response. Maybe this would be a quick conversation?

After spending the day with her roommate, Veronica found herself entering the forest in the late afternoon. Her and Elysia had breakfast and lunch together, finding time to bond as roommates should. Chespin enjoyed herself as well, finding a friend in Elysia's Bronzor as well. This was good, Ronna figured. If she was going to spend all this time at the academy of her dreams, she should have someone to talk to, confide in about her secrets and worries, and all the other things friends did for each other.
After a while, Veronica took Elysia to the forest, hoping to catch a Pokemon. She figured it was about time Chespin got another friend and teammate, so it was time to do some hunting! "What do you think we'll find? Maybe another Grass type, or a Bug type, or maybe something different? Oh, I hope it's a cute one, whatever it is," she said to Elysia as she tromped through the forest. Suddenly, she heard a rustling in the bushes. Could it be a Pokemon, she wondered? Creeping over to it, Ronna peeked into the bush, excited to see what she had found. Hopefully, a cute new team member, she thought.

As she peered through the leaves and branches, Veronica spotted the creature that had made the sounds she heard before. It was a small pink Pokemon with big ears and a fluffy tail. It looked up at her and mewed adorably, causing Ronna's heart to melt instantly. "Oh my gosh, look at you! You're so adorable and tiny!" she exclaimed. Taking out her Pokedex, she quickly identified the Pokemon as Skitty, a Normal type Kitten Pokemon. This was the time for her to begin the battle, she reminded herself. Taking out her Pokeball, the blonde called out her partner, ready to go.
"Chespin, let's go!" she exclaimed, releasing the Grass type from her ball. Chespin puffed out her chest, clearly excited for the battle. The Skitty jumped from the bushes and took a fighting stance. It appeared to be eager as well! Skitty moved first, clearly faster than Chespin, and used Fake Out. Chespin fell back, hurt a little from the attack, but mostly dazed. Veronica tried to call out an attack, but Chespin had flinched and couldn't do anything. "Well, this is starting off well," she said, scratching her head. Skitty attacked again, this time with a Tail Whip, lowering Chespin's Defense. However, it left Chespin able to attack. "Go for a Vine Whip, Chespin!" Ronna commanded, pointing at the Skitty. Two green vines grew from Chespin's neck, then she ran at the Skitty, slapping it with the vines. Things were starting to turn around for them! Skitty fell back after being hit a few times with the vines, but didn't stay down for long. It stood back up and growled, almost hissed really, at Chespin and Veronica. This little kitty wasn't ready to give up just yet! "Stay sharp, Chespin. Things are about to get interesting, I can tell," Ronna said. Chespin stood her ground, prepared to keep up the fight.

Now, Skitty wasn't happy, but Chespin wasn't going to back down. It was Skitty's turn, the cat Pokemon charging at Chespin with a Tackle attack. Chespin tried to jump out of the way, but Skitty was just too fast for her, ramming into her at full speed and sending her flying backwards. Chespin landed on her face, making a small noise of pain. "Come on, Chespin, you can do it! Get up and use Growl!" Veronica called out, hoping to encourage her partner to get up and keep fighting. Chespin jumped back up, still full of energy apparently. She opened her mouth wide and released a yell, lowering the Skitty's attack stat. Skitty didn't take kindly to that, so she fired off her own Growl, mewling at Chespin and lowering her attack stat as well.
"Chespin, keep it up and use Vine Whip!" Ronna exclaimed, a twinkle of determination in her eyes. She wanted this Skitty. It was a tough fighter, and it was absolutely adorable. She loved tough cute things! Chespin, on the other hand, just wanted to win the battle. Vines sprouted from her neck again and starting slapping at Skitty, each strike making a sharp sound that clearly was doing decent damage. Ronna was confident that they could pull out a win and successful capture. After taking a beating from the Vine Whip, Skitty jumped back up and used Tail Whip again, shaking it's fluffy pink tail in Chespin's face and lowering her Defense stat. Veronica knew that Chespin couldn't take more than a few hits before the match would be over, so they had to end it now before Skitty had the chance to knock Chespin out. "Hit it with a Tackle attack, Chespin," she said. Chespin charged at Skitty at full speed, ramming into it and sending it flying backwards. It flipped a few times before hitting the ground.

Skitty remained on the ground, still able to fight, but choosing not to. It seemed like it had had enough. Veronica took out her only empty Pokeball, clutching it tightly in her hand. "Okay, Chespin, take a step back. The fight is over. Go, Pokeball!" she exclaimed, giving the ball a good toss. It tapped the Skitty on the head and opened, turning the Pokemon into red light and bringing it inside the ball, then closed and landed on the ground. Veronica and Chespin watched the Pokeball carefully and silently, both of them clearly nervous by the expressions on their faces. The ball shook once, twice, and finally a third time before it clicked, indicating a successful capture. They had done it! Ronna picked up the ball, grinning, and held it up in the air. "We did it, Chespin! We caught a Skitty! We're so awesome, you were amazing!" she shouted with glee, hugging the Grass type. She hurried back over to Elysia, still giddy about the whole thing. "Did you see that? I caught a Pokemon! I knew we could do it! Hey, are you going to look for one too?" she asked her friend. If they both caught Pokemon that day, they would have something to show their classmates tomorrow.

They spent their morning together, chatting. She found that her roommates to be easy to get along with so far. Time passed so fast and Elysia found herself back in the forest with Veronica. Elysia kept on glancing toward the sky when they walked. Maybe she would spot a flying type again. nope, she didn't spot any. "I don't-- " Elysia started to answer, but Veronica already ran toward a bush before she could finish. She was forced to ran after Veronica. It was a pink cat pokemon that they found. It's really cute however that she understood why Veronica wanted it. She scanned the pokemon, while Veronica engaged it in battle with her chespin. "Skitty, the Kitten Pokémon. Skitty will get completely caught up in pursuing any moving objects that catches its eye. In the wild, this Pokémon lives in holes in the trees of forests. It is very popular as a pet because of its adorable looks. " Her pokedex told her some information like usual. She wasn't surprised that it was a popular pet.
Elysia had her attention to Veronica's battle. "Pay attention, Shelah," she said to her bronzor as her eyes studied Veronica's battle. She noted that Chespin and Skitty both used a non-damaging move she wasn't very sure what each did. It appeared rather useless in battle, but she had suspicion it's not. The first move by skitty was briliant too, it was a smart one. The battle ended as fast as it started. Veronica handled her battle better than hers. "Congrats!" Elysia said as she approached them. "you are great in battle, we should have a battle next time," Elysia said it lightly, but she meant it. Shelah also approached chespin and said his congratulation. When Veronica asked her if she wanted to catch a pokemon too, she shook her head, sadly. "No, not here. I came here yesterday and didn't manage to catch anything. There's no pokemon that caught my interest today either. I do know I want either a grass type or a flying type. Shelah got into trouble with ground,water and electric type often, grass type will be a good pokemon to cover what Shelah has hard time dealing with," Elysia continued, she had given it a lot more thought since yesterday. it might be a good thing that she lost yesterday as grass type appeared to be a better choice for what she needed. "maybe the grassland will have a better pokemon," Elysia said, "it's nearly sunset though, so I don't think it's a good idea to got there today. if we started from the morning, we will be able to spend more time looking around."

In the early morning the forest was quiet- but the silence was distrupted by a blaze of ethusiasm from Koru,"Okay Cyndaquil let's try Ember once more!" She order Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil was on the ground eyeing FLetchling in the air. For the past month Koru has been trying harder than ever after her first real trainer battle had taken place. While it is true that she lost, it lit a fire under her and she wanted more than ever to make her pokemon the best they could be. Cyndaquil seemed to change too- he still panicked at anything new but now he seemed more open and social with other pokemon. Fletchling was about the same- but of course the impish little bird loved being around others. The pat few mornings Koru had begun waking up at dawn and coming out to train. She wanted to build up the gusto to ask Xia for a rematch, but it seems no matter the progress they were making together the more she started to think back to the battle- at how strong Fong was and the beating Cyndaquil had taken. It was not a pretty sight. Cyndaquil opened his mouth and released a flurry of Ember bolts at Fletchling. Koru watched and then told Fletchling,"Okay good now Fletchling try dodging and use Quick Attack!" Flew through the air but Cyndaquil was following his moves with the Ember and Fletchling tried to fly around them so it'd be safe to use it's attack. It stopped just before the ground and shot out in a light towards Cyndaquil,"Cyndaquil jump!" As the bird came towards him Cyndaquil jumped out of the way and a little into the air, but landing back on the ground he stumbled slightly and lost his balance,"Quil-!" Koru was ready to start his smokescreen attack, but then a sudden beeping from her pocket stopped her. He looked at her pocket and then called out,"Okay guys time's up!" Fletchling easily slowed in the air and flapped towards her with Cyndaquil running to her. She pulled out her pokegear and clicked the alarm off. Good thing she had set that or else she would have trained all the way into class. She bent down and petted both pokemon,"Great job you guys you can rest now. Fletchling you're moving around a lot smoother than before and Cyndaquil," He feared he would get called on for stumbling but she smiled and rubbed under his chin,"Your dodging has gotten better! Not to mention that ember is in better control." She then reached around into her satchel on the ground and pulled out two berry cups. Both pokemon looked at them enticed and knew what this meant, "Here's a breakfast reward treat...all of that for ya! Let's eat then get to class okay?" They had no idea the importance of class but did know what the berries were for. When she sat them down with lids off They went at the assorted berries like they hadn't eaten in forever-training really works up an appetite. She pulled out a few bites from both cups to share and took part, she wasn't really that hungry she was too worked up and awake to feel anything but hungry at the moment. Battle class was the first class of the day so she wanted them to be as prepared as possible. When they were done Cyndaquil plopped down and sighed satisfied, a small burp and a flame simultaneously happening. Fletchling rested on his head and Koru giggled at them. She rose up with satchel over her shoulder and pokeball in hand,"COme on guys let's go hehe," She sent Fletchling back into his pokeball but picked Cyndaquil up and let him lay over her shoulder like usual. She started her stroll out f the forest, ready for what the day should bring. Exit

Maria got up bright and early to find some local Pokémon. She wanted to find a new friend. However what that new friend would be she wasn’t sure. Following Lillipup through the forest, the brunette didn’t mind a bit of searching before the events of the day. It seemed neither did Lillipup as she seemed to be happy walking around. “Hey Lillipup, any ideas what our friend will be like?" She asked for mild conversation. “Pup pup.”(I hope nice.)She answered looking to her trainer as her tail wagged. Maria smiled. “Yeah, I do too.”She agreed as if she understood.
Sure Maria wasn’t a Pokémon speaking expert but she wasn’t afraid to try and understand her puppy Pokémon. Looking up at the sky the sun was already beginning to shine. Turning her attention back to the trees and bushes, she waited for a Pokémon to catch her attention. It wasn’t until Lillipup’s attention turned to a moving bush that Maria took interest. “What is it Lillipup?”She asked curiously. Looking to the bush as well she wondered what it was. Lillipup sniffed the air as she moved closer to the bush. She was on guard but still very curious about what was hiding in it.
Suddenly a pair of eyes appeared from the bush. Lillipup jumped back a little in surprise. “Bushes don’t have eyes…” Maria said out loud. Of course some could, given the kind.“What is that…?”

Taking out her pokégear, Maria slowly pointed it at beady eyes of the bush.
“Espurr, the Restraint Pokémon. Espurr's psychic energy can travel hundreds of feet, blasting everything around it. However it has no control over its power.”
Listening as it scanned the Pokémon it appeared that it wasn’t a tree at all, just a cute psychic Pokémon. “Espurr… never heard of it before. Sounds cute though just like a Pichu.” Maria theorized with a smile. Lillipup crept closer to the Pokémon sniffing once more. “Don’t worry we won’t hurt you.” She said slowly walking over to the bush and kneeling down next to Lillipup. Slowly the psychic type popped its head out of the bush. Cocking its head, Espurr looked to the Pokémon and then its trainer.
“Pup!” (Hello!)Lillipup greeted wagging her tail. “Hello there,” Maria greeted with a smile. The psychic Pokémon blinked before slowly coming out of the bush. Walking slowly over to the puppy Pokémon he put on a smile but nervous smile. “Esp…” (Hello…) The psychic type greeted back. Looking over at the brunette, Espurr slowly walked over to her curiously before poking at the pokégear in her hand. “You’re a curious little guy uh?”Maria said with a smile before setting her things down and riffling through her bag to take out a snack. Espurr picked up the pokégear examining it further before setting it down and looking to what the girl was doing.
“You want this…? It’s really tasty.” Maria offered the poké snack to Espurr. The small cat like Pokémon took the snack from her before sniffing it. Slowly munching on it, the psychic type smiled happily. “See told you it was good.” She said brightly. Watching as Espurr inhaled the rest of it, Lillipup barked happily. “Lillipup?” (What about me?)She asked looking to her trainer. “I didn’t forget about you. Though you’ve already ate.” Maria laughed giving her puppy Pokémon a snack as well.
Espurr looked to Lillipup with a tiny smile. Lillipup inhaled it just as quick at the psychic type before racing around it in fun. Espurr watched the pup run around him before cocking his head. “Lillipup.” (Come on chase me.) Lillipup barked with a wag of her tail. Espurr blinked before nodding his head and racing off after her. Of course they’d hit it off. Lillipup was a happy sort that seemed to make friends easily. Maria watched the two having fun as she noted all the other Pokémon around them. Maybe this little guy among the birds, bugs, and plants was the match she was looking for.
Leaning against a tree, Maria watched the two chasing each other. She knew that she should be heading back to the campus soon but she didn’t want to break up the happy moment between Lillipup and Espurr. Thinking about it for a moment she took out the great ball she was given from the school. “Lillipup we should get back soon.” She said before looking to Espurr. Lillipup stopped causing Espurr to bump into her. Espurr looked over at Maria curiously wondering where they were going to go. “Espurr would you like to come with us?” She asked curiously.
Espurr tilted his head wondered what she meant. Seeing the ball in Maria’s hand he went over and looked at it. “If you go inside this you can stay with us.” She told him. “Pup lillipup.” (Please come.)Lillipup barked happily.“Purr espurr…?”(Come where…?) Espurr asked blinking at the ball before cocking his head at Lillipup. “Pup pup.” (The academy.)She answered back. “We’ll have tons of fun working together, I can promise you that.” Maria said for reassurance. Espurr looked between the two before looking back to the ball. “Purr.” (Okay.)Espurr said poking the ball before going inside. As the great ball shook in Maria’s hand, it clicked shut. “Lillipup!”(I have a friend.) The puppy Pokémon barked cheerfully. “We did it Lillipup.” Maria said with a smile before letting Espurr back out. “Welcome to the team, Espurr.”

Espurr gave a small yet happy smile at the welcome. Lillipup wagged her tail happily glad that her friend would be staying with them. “Now, we better get heading to class.”Maria told them brightly. Espurr looked up at her curiously. “Purr…?” (Class…?) The small psychic type questioned.“Pup, Lillipup.”(Yeah, battle class.) The puppy Pokémon answered. “You’ll see.”Maria said with a smile before picking up the small purplish Pokémon.
Walking through the forest, Maria hoped that Espurr would like it. Lillipup did so why not Espurr? The brown pup pranced beside her trainer with excitement. “Pup pup.”(You’ll love it.) Lillipup barked happily. Yapping away about the class to Espurr, Maria smiled. The two seemed to be hitting it off. She only hopped others would like him as much as they did. Taking a breath, Maria tried to take in the fresh air before being stuck inside. Sometimes she wished she had taken outdoors class for her first year. Though, Lillipup seemed to be enjoying battle class so maybe the class was worth it.

Faye was rather surprised at herself. But given the mood she'd woken up in, it wasn't much of a shock factor that she'd ended up here. The tall trees towered above her and leaves crunched under her feet. The peace and quiet of the wooded area did help to clear her mind a bit. Her emotional state was still wobbly and at her ankles, Amirah glanced up in concern from time to time. The little Eevee was still worried about her Trainer, but Faye seemed to be recovering slowly. So she would hang close to the blond girl and make sure to offer as much support as possible.
Faye breathed in deeply and kept walking down the Forest path. Her pain from earlier still lingered. She felt so alone and vulnerable, like the whole world had forgotten she existed. It was like trying to push her way through a thick pool of molasses. No matter how hard she struggled, no progress was made and the mass kept pulling her further and further down. Sniffing hard, Faye struggled to keep tears at bay. She'd cried a lot this last month, more than she'd every let any of her friends know. Thinking back, she recalled the students she'd become acquainted with. Ava, Tera, Marcus...all of them were proving to be an acceptable entourage....but none of them really understood her. Was that her own fault? Was she pushing them away to protect herself? Did she need too?
Faye honestly didn't know any other way to live. All her life, she been handed her every whim on a platter of gold and silver. Nothing had ever been out of reach for her....except the one thing she wanted most of all. Her parents affection and attention. Sighing deeply, Faye rubbed her eyes tiredly. It wasn't fair. The whole situation was just exasperating. Beyond compare and just downright depressing. As Faye walked, she failed to notice the curious and odd looking ball of pale fur pacing alongside her. But Amirah didn't. Tilting her head at the wide eyed Pokémon, Amirah darted in front of Faye. Her Trainer wasn't in a proper state to deal with wild Pokémon, so the Eevee would take it upon herself to protect her blond Trainer. The Espurr squeaked at the aggressive charge the Eevee made and raced back into the underbrush. Feeling proud, Amirah pranced back to her Trainer proudly. But Faye was too distracted and caught up in her own self esteem issues to notice her Pokémon's aid. The two kept walking, while Faye tried to pull herself out of her self depression.

The journey through the Forest continued. Faye was starting to feel more like herself now. There was still a yawning, empty hole lingering in her chest where her heart was, but the distance from the school had given her some time to think. She was still a Rhoades, something she'd temporarily forgotten during her period of feeling sorry for herself. No matter where she was, she still had that much. Straightening her back, she smirked up at the sky. "I don't need anything else. I am a Rhoades and someday...everyone, everywhere will know my name. Yeah..."
The slight pep talk made her feel a bit better. Holding her head a bit higher, Faye smiled to herself. Now more aware of her surroundings, Faye could see several Pokémon. There were many she'd never seen before. Her curiosity was peeked now. Despite her objection to coming to the school, she was learning quite a lot about Pokémon as a whole. Pulling out her PokeGear, Faye pointed the device towards a nearby group of bright red Pokémon.
'Ledyba, the Five Star Pokémon. When the weather turns cold, lots of Ledyba gather from everywhere to cluster and keep each other warm.'
Faye took a step back and wrinkled her nose. More Bug Pokémon, how gross. Although the cluster of shelled Pokémon were fairly cute. Still, she had no interest in catching the Ledyba. Moving on, Faye looked around a bit more closely at the Forest. She saw a curly...something? poking over the edge of a nearby bush. Puzzled, she stepped off the path for a moment and saw a large grey feline with a spiral tail hissing and growling at her. "The heck are you?" she muttered softly as she pointed her PokeDex at the creature,
'Glameow, the Catty Pokémon. It claws if displeased and purrs when affectionate. Its fickleness is very popular among some.'
Faye snorted and backed away from the feline Pokémon. It was rather cute with its curly tail, but its personality description was too akin to her own for Faye to see a potential new Pokémon. Plus....her PokeDex showed her what the Glameow would eventually evolve into and she was NOT into that. Her team of Pokémon would be elegant and adorable, something the Glameow would not bring to the table. Waving to Amirah, Faye spoke primly,. "Come Amirah...let's keep looking. Maybe we'll find a worthy addition to our team. If nothing else, the solitude is kinda nice...in small doses anyway."

Swinging her arms, Faye smirked as she looked around. The Forest was pretty quite. It was sort of nice, but she was starting to miss the school now. Or at least she was missing chatting mindlessly with her peers. She was missing her Co-ordination Class. It was one of the few classes she enjoyed. It gave her a chance to show herself off and brag. But, even as much as she loved to flaunt, she was pretty sure she wasn't in the state of mind to deal with a crowd. She was feeling better, but a bit more time would probably be better.
Coming around a bend, Faye paused in mid step as she looked at the strange sight in front of her. Padding across the path was an indigo feline with large ears and a swishing tail. Large green eyes regarded her without fear and paler fur made the orbs look like the cat was smirking at her. Faye arched an eyebrow and took out her PokeGear to scan the purple feline,
'Purrloin, the Devious Pokémon. Its cute act is a ruse. When victims let down their guard, they find their items taken. It attacks with sharp claws.'
Faye quickly checked her pockets, making sure she had everything. So far, it didn't seem that the thief Pokémon had gotten anything from her. The flirty and come-hither look the cat was giving her was appealing. And she did love a troublemaker. It would fit in with her well. Faye grinned and looked down at Amirah, "How about a quick battle Amirah? Let loose some steam and all that. You ready?" The Eevee yipped excitedly and jumped forward, lowering herself into a crouch and preparing for a fight. She did love a good challenge.

The distraction of a battle made Faye's blood start to heat up. It had been a while since she'd had a chance to test out her new found knowledge that she'd gained from the Academy. Amriah was also ready to test out herself as well, crouched and ready to battle. Smirking as the indigo feline stood up from its cute sitting position, the Purrloin seemed ready to fight as well. Faye smirked and pointed Amirah at the Dark Type Pokémon, "Alright Amirah. Let's start off the battle. Sand Attack!" Her schooling at the Academy had helped Faye, even if she won't admit it. She now knew Amirah's current move set, as well as what the Eevee would learn in the next few advances.
Small blessing for the young girl, especially now that she knew the attack had a good chance of lowering the Purrloin's accuracy. Amirah eagerly bounded forwards before agilely spinning on her paws. Kicking her back feet out rapidly, the little Eevee scraped her nails into the dirt. The loose debris was knocked into the air, aimed at the purple cat's eyes. The Purrloin yowled in unhappiness, backing away and pawing at its eyes. Amirah spun back to face the feline, waiting for a retaliation attack.
The little fox didn't have to wait long. Rubbing its small forelegs over its face, the Purrloin glared vicious daggers at the Eevee. It was impressed at the little Normal Types spirit, but it was going to give as good as it got. Unsheathing its sharp claws, the feline snaked forward in a blur of purple and white. Amirah deeked to the right and then back left, trying to throw off the Purrloin's attack. But despite Amirah's attempts to dodge, the swift feline managed to read the Eevee's movements and slashed a painful scratch along her flank. Amriah yowled in pain and Faye grit her teeth. She wasn't about to give up that easy and she knew her Eevee won't back down either, "Shake it off Amirah! Use Tackle on the Purrloin now!"
Getting her feet under her again, Amirah charged the speedy cat and slammed her head into its ribcage. The Purrloin gave a cry of pain as it tumbled across the ground. Faye grinned in triumph. Not much more and they'd have won, Faye was sure of that.
