Wow, that's actually quite catchy. It just flows together so nicely, "The Ska Guild Ochestra" biggrin

lol Maybe that's the next step in ska? Making a band with 20+ members xd

XD Now we're mixing Big Band sizes with Ska styles.
Sweet lets get this thing going!

I'd do it. XD

We just need a common place for all of us to meet and jam/practice.
mmm, how about that place between dimensions? It's a little roomie and we can make as much sound as we want without disturbing anybody. XD

Works for me.
Heh, my band uses the high school band room to practice, but last week, we got in trouble because the drama kids were practicing for a play and we were too loud... even though the drama room is supposed to be sound proof xd

We use our Trumpet player's garage cuz its not attached to the house and its HUGE!!! That way... not many can b***h about how loud we are... Plus even so we really don't care domokun

Normally we couldn't care less if we were being "too loud", but using the band room is a privilege and we'd like to keep it.
I wish one of us had a big enough garage to play in though...

Fell Down...Again
Cowbell yo. 3nodding

I only know of two bands that use cowbells extravagantly, but neither are ska bands... That'd be an odd sound now that I think about it xp

I've decided I'd wear ear-plugs too.
I still have that damned ringing in my ear, and I wasn't even on stage that much.

whootness...Now I'm playing Guitar in a Ska band called Komrad
PostPosted: Sun Jul 23, 2006 11:13 am
Well, probably sax, 'cause that's my main instrument. Not that there are any people interested in ska where I live, or with enough talent to start a band. Hmm.
I can play any of the instruments you listed (badly), bar drums and trombone, but I could pick them up. Yay flexibility!
I do like trombones though smile

i play french horn but since thats pretty much useless outside of school i learned trumpet and trombone, and saprano trombone, basically a trombone size of the trumpet

i also play the bagpipes
at the moment badly, but its only been bout 3 months since i started

i play a little guitar but nothing like a real player

and for the ska orchestra, thatd be ******** awesome, kinda new york ska jazz esq but with some more electric guitars
