Riyo didn't hesitate when she was instructed to run, her legs taking off as fast as they would carry her through the dream. "s**t s**t s**t s**t..." She mumbled to herself, surprised that Morpheus was able to keep up. Of course she didn't know how the dream to reality ratio worked for this kind of situation worked, and now wasn't exactly the time to worry about it either.
The feline did good to keep her eyes looking straight forward as she ran, though it was impossible not to give either a quick glance over her shoulder or look out into the vast expanse of the boil's imagination.
It looked like they were finally approaching the edges of the dream, and Riyo was grateful that nothing had prevented the boil from following. Half way there. They were half way there.
As Morpheus instructed her to go ahead, she turned to look at him. "But how do- AHH!" The ghoul flailed into the darkness, the sudden jolt causing her body to jump where she sat and jostle Titus's sleeping form. She was panting and sweating, even though she hadn't moved in all actuality. Riyo stared blankly out into the living room for a few seconds before she realized there was a ticking time bomb on her lap. "s**t." What did she do? What did she do?!
Riyo pushed his body into a sitting position in an effort to secure him, her arms wrapping around his torso as her forehead pressed against his back. She wouldn't hold him tightly. Not until he started to get wild, which she was fully prepared for. "Please come back.." She whispered to him softly, fingers grasping the cloth of his shirt.

Riyo did her best to remain latched on, gritting her teeth as she felt the boil pull at her arm. It hurt, moreso with the little rips and tears still covering her skin that reopened with the friction. She couldn't hold in a whimper, as much as she was trying to, as hard as she was fighting not to show her own weaknesses. Her grip was growing weaker the more he pulled, and in that moment where he had finally stopped thrashing, she felt herself slipping until her feet touched the floor.
The ghoul was leaning into him more than holding onto him now, taking in as much air as she could in an effort to catch the breath the hadn't realized she had been holding. It was quiet now. She wasn't sure if it would stay that way, but after all the screaming and crying and yelling she had heard, it was a precious moment. It would've been better, however, if he had managed to respond to his uncle. Instead of speaking, Riyo focused on trying to gather up what energy she had left in case it hadn't worked.

Riyo decided to back up when his uncle came in for a hug, unable to conceal a small smile at the gesture. She couldn't explain the feeling of warmth it gave her to see him being cared for and appreciated. It was somehow satisfying, even though she wasn't anywhere in the picture. She supposed she was just glad that the boil had someone who cared so much about him, and it surprised her that a feeling of envy didn't follow.
Taking a deep breath, Riyo rubbed at her eyes and tried to shake off how tired she was. It was gonna be a long walk back to campus, because there was no way she was paying cab fare again.
As great as it was seeing Titus up and about, even with the strange new additions to his hands, the ghoul was starting to feel more and more awkward about standing around in his uncle's living room. She'd done what she'd come to do, maybe it was time to go before she overstayed her welcome.
Stealthily she started inching towards the hall, pausing as the sight of two familiar fluff balls darting into the room came into view. As much as Riyo wasn't a dog person, she couldn't deny they were precious little dust mops. "They're so happy to see you." The ghoul commented, folding her arms over her chest as she watched the small creatures try to dart up his legs. Her head tilted to the side as she finally added, "I am too." Whether he liked it or not.
