Elsa slowly turned her head back toward Jack, just as his tuckas wiggled about like a goof. Her nostrils flared while she took in a breath. Why?

Elegantly she took a few steps forward, enough to where she had to look down her nose to look into his eyes. Despite all her effort to keep her eyes as chilled as the ice around her, something deep within them was starting to melt.

"Good." She spoke with a pseudo icicle tone.

"Now. Are you just going to stand there with your butt in the air? Or are you going to escort me back to the lake?"

The option was random, but Elsa pushed passed that fact and accepted it for what it was; a distraction from him asking her to make that odd noise again. She wasn't going to do it.

'Silly', was far better then 'foolish'.

Jack's ears perked forward, as Elsa more of less agreed with him. She didn't laugh, but he was content with her not trying to kill him or snarling. However, she seriously want to go back to the lake.

"Wait." Jack spoke looking back at Elsa, following with his eyes as she passed him. Vary elegantly.

Straightening, Jack followed after Elsa. Well, yeah-he would escort her if she wanted to, but..

"The lake?" The Tahtil spoke as he hopped to be infront of Elsa, his paws carried him backwards as he faced Elsa as she walked forward.

"The vary same lake, that we almost drowned in?" Mr. Frost spoke as he hoped to turn himself to walk along side her.

"I mean, if you want-I will do so, but...that request is a little odd don't you think?" Jack was quick to bring to her attention.

Elsa held her head high while ears pointed backward. Jack's hopping was noticed, but she chose to not react to it past a slight widening of her eyes. He could look silly all he wanted. She would keep her stature, thank you very much weaver.

"I want to see it." Elsa spoke matter of factly.

While they were running over it she had been so focused on tearing Jack's throat out that she did not get to see the splendor that was frozen water.

"Just because it almost claimed our lives does not mean I should be fearful of it. I rather feel a kin to the water." She continue.

Perhaps he thought she was going to finish him off there. Not that the thoght didn't cross her mind, but, she did not feel inclinded to kill him at the moment. He was safe. For now...

"So, I do not think it is odd at all."

It was odd....

Jack's hopping ceased as Elsa contuined to press forward. Turning himself, Jack waited till the ice queen started by him before he turned himself to walk along side her.

She did after all ask him to 'escort' her not lead.

"Yeah, I feel akin to it as well..."Jack spoke with a thoughtful tone, as he looked back at the Ice Queen. "as in 'are you kin'ing me, we almost died'." Jack stated in a normal tone as his attention repelaced his gaze to the path In front of them. His head tossled up a little to his words.

Fact, was...they didn't die. They where still vary much alive. It was strange, that in that instant they almost passed-they discovered what 'almost dying' was. Did they even know what that before that happened? Or was it just something that was Inherent to living?

Elsa was unsure what Jack meant by "kin-ing me", but it seemed to be very lame. The notion caused her to release a soft breath. Of course they did, but that didn't take away the beauty of it. It was strange to think that they had almost lost their lives. They were so close to death, but it was still beautiful to think of that water. Now tht she had a safe time to think back on it.

"... But we didn't die. You are still here to be as silly as you are and I am still here to endure that. " Elsa noted almost stoically. Not believing she admitted to anything in the statement.

"Last I remember of it is being engulfed by an almost entrancing light. I want to see what it looks like when not on the brink of death. We would owe it that much." Elsa glanced up to where she had last seen the moon. Of course he would want her to say something like that.

"You are not bound to follow me where I go. If you are scared to face the frozen water, than you are welcome to leave. Not that I would encourage that..." She paused a moment as what she had just spoken figuratively smacked her upside the head. "I would never encourage you to run from your fears. It would make you look rediculous."

Icy eyes looked over to The Snow Queen as she didn't budge to his little play of words. Oh well, not like he expected her too, she did after all have a

Stick!

Ears bounced and perked as Jack's eyes found the sight of a cane like stick patruding from the ground. Taking in a breath, Jafk quietly released it as eyes looked back to the snow queen as she still spoke.

Endure?

"Such a brave and strong soul." Jack smirked, he wasn't too much to endure.

She loved it.

Mr. Frost's attention remained on Elsa as she spoke and didn't encourge him leaving. Wow, that was a nice change of pace and almost as poetic as her spoken words.

It was funny to think, they 'owed' the lake that killed them anything...he did after all pull her out of it, when he could have vary well left her to discover that light she was so fascinated with.

Nah.

Jack wouldn't do that...

Looking ahead, Jack kept his thoughts to himself.

"Well, I wouldn't want to embarrass you..." Jack Stated looking ahead, and to the vast lake they would soon meet.

Elsa quirked a brow at Frost's comment. "embarassed"? He was already far beyond that.Or at least he would be had she really cared what others thought. Elsa really didn't care too much what he thought of her. Right?

"You do a fine job embarassing yourself, but I could care less about being embarassed of anyone else."

Briefly her icy eyes trailed to the stick he so gleefully had looked at. What game was he going to get at now? What a cub.

"And just what do you plan on doing with that, Mr. Frost?" Elsa cooly inquired as she focued forward. Using her telekenisis she sooted the stick closer to Jack's feet.

She culd just see the smooth-snow covered surface of the lake. It was so vast, beautiful and yet she was aware at just how deadly it could be.

Jack's Ear turned toward Elsa as she spoke, looking back at her he smiled.

"Awe, you do like me." Mr. Frost grinned.Sure, she hadn't even told him her name yet-but she did let him call her 'his' with a 'my'.

Cub, steps....

Jack's ears perked like a cub's as a trill left him as she brought the stick closer to him. She must have seen him eyeing it-but, what was he wanting to do with it? indeed.

Scooping it up in his maw, he caught up with her step in a hop.

Shrugging his shoulders he pranced in his step along side her. A hum left him that kinda sounded like 'Idontknow' as he stole a glance at his ice queen.

Something amazing, that was for sure.

Elsa scoffed to the notion of her 'liking' him. Though nothing more was said on it past the visible breath that passed her nostrils. The possessive language had not gone unnoticed, they were just ignored. For the most part. It just wasn't as frustrating any more.

Cold eyes shifted to watch him as he trotted back with the stick in his maw. Though it was not planned, she was happy to see the stick provided a wonderful purpose past his amusement; it kept him quiet. He couldn't speak with the thing in his mouth.

The clever thought tugged the corners of her lips upward. Her nose lifted high before she returned her sights to the lake.

It was desolate. Nothing but a pure white sheet of ice. Even the hole they had created was covered. It gave a slight accent to the otherwise smooth ice, but one may not even notice it if they were not looking properly. A breath escaped her lips as she looked over the lake. It was... beautiful!

Jack did to note the tradgey of having a stick, as amazing as it was, it caused him not to be able to talk. Well, that is while it was in his mouth. Good thing, he didn't really have anything to say....

However the taste in his maw new...

Wait, was she actually smiling.... The strange sight caused his head to turn and and his brow to quark. Now that, was a strange sight. Funny, how such a thing as her laugh and even smile captivated him so. Espically when he didn't even know this Nahtill's name.

Hmm...

With a hop in his step his eyes looked around the edge of the lake, as his ears remained flexed and moving. He just as the SnowQueen paused at the frozen lakes edge. The ear closest to her turned to the gasp she had made, pulling his eyes from their mark of 'almost death', Jack looked back at the Nahtil.

Funny, eyes moved back to the white treeless void.

"Yeah, that's how I felt when I first saw you." Jack stated rather openly, loving the unpredictable and sudden statement it left hanging in the air.

Setting his hunches down in the snow, stick floated from his Maw to rest beside him....

Taking in a soft breath, the Tahtil released it as he looked to the frozen snow covered lake.

The words did do well to cling to the frosty air and linger as a fog. Elsa's ear swiveled toward Jack. He didn't say much more about the subject, or anything for that matter. What was he talking about? She didn't say anything, so what was on his mind.

Even though she did not look toward Jack, her eyes scanned the desolate surface for any hint at what he may have been talking about.

A sharp breath puffed from her nostrils.

"Desolate and empty?" Elsa's cold gaze only took a glance at him from the side.

Her shoulders rolled back before she too allowed her haunches to rest gingerly on the snow. Delicate forearms streightened out while her head remained held high. She appeared as a frozen statue, one that could become prickly at any moment.

"Well, Yeah," Jack answered, simply and surprsingly quickly. "But that was only before I saw you in the distance." He reframed as he turned his head to look at thte Snow Queen beside him.

The admitance was only that, he didn't make it ravishing or breathtaking, as she did when he first saw her. Jack also felt that wasn't someting she was ready to hear....if ever. The Nahtil, seemed to know how she was and who. Looking up to the daytime moon, Jack just wanted her to feel warm, not alone and desolate. She needed something like the foolish, and Childish Mr. Frost. The Moon told him so...

Taking in a slow breath, Jack turned his sight back on the stoic of the lake, it did look diffrent in the day time....

Funny how they almost died that night, though it did tug at him-would she have let him drowned? His reslove seem to defend her with better judgment and belief that no one could just-allow that to happen....

Right?

It was ironic that Elsa too was contemplating whether or not she would have saved him. The more logical side of her was determined to say "no". It wasn't practical, and she previously did want him dead. The puff-ball sitting next to her was simple minded and annoying. Sometimes. Slowly Elsa was finding some sort of charm to the antics (not that she would admit it, nor did her outward reflect this). She sat as a frozen statue in the snow, watching the lake and admiring its beauty.

"And what did you see after that?" Ellsa asked almost as indifferently as her expression suggested.

Her ear turned toward him, but her nose remained pointed toward the lake. Small flurries of wind kicked up the powdery layer of snow in their small bursts. It was almost like a transparent cloud drifting over the lake with only a small hum as it moved along. The wind, at least, knew how to be quiet.

Jack's ears perked forward eagerly as he watches the flurry of snow be caught up in the silent wind. How much he felt he wanted to be caught up just as easily in the flick of wind.

Elsa's words pulled his right ear to her and reined in his free thoughts back to the conversation. They had been talking. Right.

Talking in a slow breath, his blue fur puffed steadily with the breath. Oh she was curious about his thoughts, was she? A smile returned to Mr. Frost's maw.

"Oh, nothing you would be interested in..." Jack's paw reached out to the snow covered lake glass...

Applying a bit of pressure, he tested his partial weight on the ice. Jack's attention turned back to the surface under him. He wondered just how much it could take. He did after all manager to reach almost the middle before it cracked.

"I am sure." The Ice Balam flicked a smirk up to the Ice Queen, before moving a second paw on to the ice edge.

Elsa's lips thinned as Jack dismissed her inquiry as 'nothing she would be interested in'. She wouldn't have asked if she wasn't interested in it, or at very least curious about it. Still, she couldn't let him have the satisfaction of knowing that she was. Than again, she couldn't let him havethe satisfaction of knowing that he was right either.

"Or is it something you wold be shamed to tell me about?" Elsa retorted cooly.

As she gave him a side glance her eyes widned a bit to see that he was pressing against the ice. Her fur bristled in anticipation of hearing that spine wrenching crack of the ice. Was he going to fall in again? Would she save him? Her nostrils flared while her mind went wild in that split moment.

Than, as the world caught up to her, she realized he had spent that entire split second worrying about Jack. Once more her eyes narrowed and her fur ceased its standing on end. Her pale lips thinned before all her attention returned to the beauty of the frozen lake.

"What are you sure of?" Elsa spoke with mild annoyance that time, not even contemplating that she may have forgotten what she had said previously.

It was well within her rights to leave at that moment. She could. She really could... but than she would be alone again, alone to talk to the moon. Whom was always so silent. Jack was a cub, but at least he was some noise beside the laughter of the wind tossing up powder snow. In some way, Elsa had to admit that she didn't mind it too much. She was also very pleased that Jack had decided to keep the simple stick that she had given him. He wasn't complicated to take care of.

And all the while her mind returned to dwelling on Jack, her face remained stoic and uncaring. Though, if Jack were to really look closely, she did offer him occasional small side glances to make sure that he was not falling head-first into the water.

She released a heavy puff of breath through her nostrils than watched the stream of breath rise and dissappear into the air.

Across the way a couple of blue-birds dove aross the lakeplayfully. The appeared to be as a blue streak of ligtning. She had never seen such manuvers before. They were graceful. It as almost something to jeallous about.
