[FIN] I Thought No One but Myself... (Riot & Nikita)

''Yes." Riot answered with a nod. Everything that was 'his' was amazing, because it was his, and the same rang true if it was even 'theirs' because he had a part in it being his.

"I like to think so." The Cub said with confadance. 'I think you are smart to. I like that I have found you, to" Riot told the other cub, she was smart to think he was smart and she did find him.

He was vary glad that they had found each other.

"Come on, Lets explore -our- rocks." Riot spoke rising from his sit. Turning in the movement, the cub lead the way once more to the cave of rocks. The fort that would shelter them from the howling of the sands, and the other creatures of the night, they couldn't fend off just yet.

Sweeping his tail up, he let it raise and dangle proudly.

Their rocks, where awesome....Just like them

"Yeah." Nikita practically sprung to her paws at Riot's suggestion. Each step she took had a slight springto it, her tail held high. Happily she followed closely behind Riot. By far this had been the best day of her life. Since waking, ever. Nope, she couldn't think of a better time. And to think, it came after sliding down a large sand dune.

"woa..." Nikita gaspsed as they came inside the rocky cave. Crimson eyes glanced around the area. "We have an great rocks..."

Awesome, and a bit cold, but still awesome. She had never seen something this big. Nikita normally took to hidning in smaller spaces before moving on in her random direction journey.

"Do you normally find big places like this?" She inquired while still oogling the inside of the cave.

Entering the cave, Riot's own fat head turn up to look up in to the massive structure around them. Kitten maw dropped open as his head swiveled around to see all the glory of being in a cave. (Way cooler then a giant animal bone yard)

"wow..." Seemed to leave the cub's maw in sync with NIkita's own awe.

Slowly nodding, Riot slowed in his walk to look at the grand cave. The chill went unnoticed by the cub, but just the same he would keep his promise to keep the other warm-if she needed him to.

After his nod, Riot's own head turned in to a nagitive slow shake. He had never been in a rock this large before. It looked 'smaller' on the oustside....

"It is so huge....."

Nikita could almost not believe Riot had not seen anything like this before. However, she did trust him. This was a discovery that they made together. Which, in her young mind, made it just that much better.

Her tail flicked about while she took another look at the grand cave. The base was slid rock, but there was some sand that had managed to drift in near the mouth of the rocky formation. Toward the back there were only a few grains of sand scattered about, but not enough to leave a footprint.

She drew in a deep breath before returning her focused to the just as impress friend at her side.

"It is very big." Nikita agreed. It was big, like Riot's head and paws. "Should we name it?"

She went on to inquire with a slight tilt of her head. It would seem right to do so, but was it odd? The cave didn't have life like they did, but it seemed too grand to call it 'rock pile'.

Riot's own tail tip flicked at the made suggestion of naming their pile of rocks. Well it was....

"Besides 'ours'" The cub grinned over his shoulder to Nikita, his maw opened with wild intrigue. Letting his tail tick side to side it was almost as if it kept count of the seconds he spent thinking about a name.

He did like the idea.

The cub let out a joyful laugh as his head turned to look at the internal structure. sitting down in a bit of a flop, Riot's head tilted over to Nikita once more.

"I do think we should."

But what?

Did she have any ideas? She seemed to have a lot of good ideas, even if they are tumbling from a dune. That is how they met after all...

"Ours..." Nikita repeated quietly, more of verbal thought than anything.

She hummed just as silently as she mulled over the name mentally. It seemed that that was the more obvious name, or more of a title. As she continued to think on the name, she took a delicate seat on her haunches. Her long tail swooped around her front paws while her posture straightened.

"That seems more like a title... I do like it though." She noted with a soft smile.

The sight of his excitable grin caused that smile to broaden.

"How about something that sounds like the both of us... because it is ours? How about... RrrrriiiiNii... Rrr-" She looked up as she sounded out mashing their names together. "- ... Riiiiookiiita. Riiiikita-"

She looked back to Riot. "Our Rikita?"

Riot's claws mindlessly stretched out and messaged the ground, leaving little scarped nitches in the rock. Webbed toes grabbed and flexed on the earth.

Turning his head the Tahtill watched amused and yet, in wonder as Nikita tried to mesh and sound out their name's together.

Rikita...Nikot? Nikot-sounded weird, and might have been a little hard to say...

"Our, Rikita..." Riot repeated as his head turned to look at the inner workings of the grand structure once more. That untamed tail of his slid along the earth to wrap around his over sized paws comfortably.

"It does have a nice sound to it." The cub nodded in thought. His little tail patted the ground once more.

Nikita mindlessly puffed with pride as Riot assured her that her name sounded nice. It really did. Their names sounded nice. They did have the best names in her opinion.

"Our, Rikita." She repeated again than nodded.

That was it. That was the name of this cave. Their cave. A fort of what was blossoming into a good friendship. Nikita was sure that that is what Riot was. A good friend. Now they had a cave.

"We are good at this." Nikita nodded. "So... what next? Do we have to sleep now?"

She eyed the back corner of the cave before returning all her focus to Riot's eyes, taking a quick glance at his tail before doing so. Her own tail unfolded than folded up around her paws again, mirroring Riot's movements. Fun habit?

"Yeah, we are." Riot answered tossing his head up a little. Not only where they 'good', but they just seemed to have so much fun together. Everything just seemed so 'lonesome' with out a friend.

Riot was glad to have ran into this one. Or rather 'tumbled' into Nikita.

"Well..." Raising to his paws, Riot top half stretched out and lowered to the ground in a lenghty stretche. Little brown toes widened out and flexed, as his claws dug into the earth under him. His tail couldn't help but curl in to 'c' while he got into the flex...

Soon, a yawn released from the yound cub's maw.

"We don't have to, if you don't want..." The Tahtll collected, letting his lower half lower to the ground. His front paws still outstretched he grabbed the ground.

"But we shouldn't go out side...."

Nikita couldn't help but release her own wide yawn in response to Riot's. That was an unintentional mirror. She did, unlike Riot, hold her posture while she yawned and only shuttered a little before exhaling the deep breath.

"I don't want to go outside..." Nikita nodded slowly, agreeing. Something within told her that going outside now would be worse than just a bad idea.

She got to all four paws, allowing her tail to curl in a "c" before straightening it back out. Her eyes brightened as she took a loot around the parameter again. They could run around the area, it was big enough to romp. However, the mere thought of running caused her eyes to feel weighted.

Quietly her paws carried her to the back side of the cave. She circled around as if chasing her tail before curling up on the floor. Hind legs stretched by her nose while her fore paws rest over her hind paws. Her tail flicked before it too curled around her frame.

Playful crimson eyes looked up toward Riot to see what he would be doing. She could run, if she needed to, play more. If need be...

"It's so big in here we could do anything we wanted..." She added after another yawn.

Letting his head turn and rest on his out stretched arm to keep his Azure eyes on Nikita. Slowly his tail raised and flopped on the ground., finding that he just enjoyed feeling and testing the earth under him.

"Yeah...." Was drawn out of Riot as his head raised to fallow the Nahtill as she passed. It was a agreement to a unspoken feeling, it just felt like a 'bad idea' to go outside...

Blue eyes fallowed His friend, as he noticed just how quitely she could move.

Whoa...

Could he even hear her? The cub wondered...

Lowering his head between his front legs, his ear tilted to the ground. Paws flexed carefully in the earth once more. Stilling himself, he felt something....

Vibrations, maybe?

Little wide-eyed-wondered eyes pulled themselves from the ground. It stopped. Looking up to Nikita, to where she laid so coyly.

A huff left the cub, as a playful smiled challenged her own peeking from her tail.

Slowly rising, Riot moved toward Nikita, in a slow prowl. Taking a slant in his path, he stopped infront of her. Curling his body slightly....he pause. Looking down at the cub, a paw out stretched stiffly and slowly tapped at her tail.

Tap....

....Tap....

..........Tap

Careful eyes remained hawked on Nikita and any movement she may have carefully. Almost testing to see if she was going to do anything about it.

Vibrations? If there were Nikita either couldn't sense them or was too distracted to notice. Earth was not her thing, fire, warmth, energy, those were her things. Though, as Riot begun to move Nikita lifted her head and locked her eyes on his movements.

Her own paws flexed. Perhaps it was another tackle match? She found herself too curious to take a stance herself. Paws remained planted upon the ground. Oh? A gentle, and playful, humm rattled in her throat as she watched. It was game time!! There was no need to sleep.

*tap* ... *Tap* ... *Tap*

Nikita watched carefully still, allowing Riot to prod her tail a few mor times before she begun to twitch it away from each tap. Her head lowered to the ground before she flipped it upside-down, being very mindful of her horns as she watched Riot 'stand on the ceiling'. Her smile broadened mischievously while her tail continued to bobble.

Riot's head shifted, tucking in curiously in a slightly 'flick' motion as her own head moved and rolled. Slowly, his paw retracted, to rest on the ground once more. Slowly, a contemplated tail waved back and forth...

Hmm.

Slowly laying down, Riots head and maw rested flat on the earth. Pink nose stretched out and poked against her own. He was conflicted, to play would be so much fun-but at the same time, his body felt heavy and tired too. Big sandy paws, where becoming too lazy.

Forward toes slowly lifted in a flex...

"Are you going to be warm enough?" The Tahtll, asked carefully, not wanting the Nahtll to be cold or uncomfortable...

Even if Nikita's eyelids were heavy, she wanted to play until she passed out. Especially with a friend. Games were so much more fun with a friend. Though, as his pink nose poked at her own nose, she gently pushed back.

"hmn..." She hummed to his inquiry.

Carefully she pulled her face away from his and worked to untangle her legs as she stood. He had offered before, and she hand been convinced that this would be much more comfortable the being alone. Quietly she turned herself around to parallel her frame with his. Once aligned, she carefully lowered her frame against his, curling as close to the warmth as possible. Her arms stretched forward while her hind legs tucked under her frame. Nikita's head tucked inbetween her paws, tail curled around her frame as best as it could.

Wow. It was warm.

"Yup." Nikita declared with a 'chirp'. "And you will be okay? This is not too warm for you?"

He was not of fire, and seemed okay with the earth. Nikita was unsure how the earth worked. It didn't seem to like the fire near the hot mountain....
