Hearing Zeke's voice suddenly, she stopped and tumbled muzzle first. It was like a comical way she fell, front legs crossed, face down and tail stood on end. Finally she managed to sit up and sneezed a few times. Which resulted in her nearly falling over every couple of sneezes. Finally she gone over to him and nipped gently at his hands.

Zeke watched Lily as she came over and sneezed then nipping at his hands he smiled and sat down to gently pet her. I'm still finding it hard to believe that I have petted a foz and had an owl on my arm. You truely are something else Lily.

She let him pet her and started to rub her face against his hand. But she tensed up and slowly backed up from him. Her ears were working and listening now. In the distance there was a bit of noise like a group of hunters. Growling under her breath she arched her back instead of fleeing. Though when did flee to a point, by hiding behind Zeke's legs.

Zeke smiled as he saw Lily rubbing herself on his hand untill he saw her back off and growl. He stood up and looked in the direction of he growl he had a bad feeling. Especially when she hid behind him. Stay hidden. He said just as he was about to check out what was the noise a metallic whip grabbinh his arm and pulling and slamming him to a tree. He grunted and attempted to jump but the whip prevented that.

She watched him get slammed into a tree and shifted into her owl form after jumping up. Taking flight to the air she found the person that held the whip. Now her talons narrowly came to the person's face. Then she flew out of the reach of the person's reach. A good distance in the air she managed to shift into her fox form and landed on the person's face as they looked up at her.

The man that was attacked was a paladin he wanted to find any hints of Jumper hideouts and he believed he found a break with Zeke in the woods alone. When he attacked him, and in turn got attacked by animals, he hoped to move up once he turn him and other in. Zeke followed the end of the line as the man began to try and shack off Lily in her fox form Zeke grabbed him and showed him a bit of Jumper combat by jumping around hitting and slamming him.

She fell onto the ground and landed on her side in her fox form. Groaning in her fox form she watched through cracked eyes as Zeke attacked the man. Finally she managed to get to her feet and huffed a bit.

Zeke believed he had the man cornered until the man countered. He stabbed the air with a electric baton and shocked Zeke. That put him at a disadvantage since electricity stops Jumpers. The man then kicked Zeke om the side to push him to the side. The man got close to shock Zeke again.

Seeing this she growled and ran at the attacking man. Her teeth sunk into his wrist as she kept her fox form. Now she shook his wrist best as she could well growling. Copper taste gone into her mouth now not letting up on her attack.

The paladin got agitated thay this fox relentlessly attacked him when he attempted to capture the jumper. He attempted to shake off Lily. Zeke saw the opportunity he needed to get himself off the whip and once out he attacked the man and held him down. He was about to interrogate him until he heard the sounf of others coming he reached for Lily and Jumped them back to base landing back in her room.

She almost bit Zeke but stopped herself in time so it came as a gentle n**. Now she stayed still in his hold. Once in her room she looked around and wiggled a bit out of his hold, or tried to. When he finally let go of her, she jumped to the bed and shook herself a bit.

Zeke let a sigh escape him he was tired of having to fight day in and day out against the paladins. that fight just reminded him of his past a very harsh way of living. It wasn't until he felt Lily Squirm in his arms that he snapped back to reality. Oh sorry. He let go of Lily and just layed on the floor exhausted. That was a Paladin. They are the ones who hunt us Jumpers.

She looked at him as he laid on the floor. Jumping off the bed she sat by him. Then started to rub her tail against his nose and chin. Well this was happening she was looking away, trying to get him not seem so down. Though it was her animal side that was making her more empathetic.

Zeke felt her tail on his nose and chin, which in turn made him sneeze a bit but smiled regardless. Thank you for cheering me up Lily. He then realize that he needed to leave so Lily can change. He got up and excused himself.

She smiled a fox-ish smile at him. When he left she shifted after a few minutes. Finally she cried out in pain once she was fully human. Now she put her clothes back on. Well after making sure there was no feathers or fur to shed on or into her clothes. Once dressed she brushed her hair and opened the door a bit.
