Alma looked so serious, trying to catch the tail. Her eyes were narrowed and her little face scrunched up. Then it happened, she was able to catch it! Squealing with absolute joy, her little wings went flapping almost hard enough to get her off the ground. Smiling proudly, she wiggled side to side as she poked each of the points on the tail.
Tilting her head after he told her it was normal, she looked at the tail even more seriously. This was the expression that usually lead to her getting into trouble. As soon as he told her his name, she got where the trouble would come from.
With one hand she knocked her self on the head and laughed, "I am Alma! Don't tell Tora-momma I didn't introduce myself at first, bad manners. Though she probably already knows." Whispering just barely loud enough to be heard she told the male, "She always knows." There was never a connection made that she was the only one around her momma so when something happened, there was probably a good reason to suspect her. As far as Alma was concerned, her momma had special powers, a sense that just tingled. An Alma-sense! It was probably tingling right now, some where.

Kylieam watched her face scrunch up with such scrutiny over his tail he couldn't help but laugh. He was still also very much confused and ever so slightly disturbed. Especially after the fact that she just bonked herself on the head, begged pardons for her bad manners and claimed her mother knew everything.
Blinking, he glanced around, making sure no one that looked like her mother was around. What would an angry mom do if they caught their daughter pulling on some man's tail.... even if it wasn't exactly his idea first? Oh all the things he could possibly be called....
Shuddering, he shook off the thoughts before glancing back down at the girl. "Alma. That's a very nice name. And I promise not to tell your mother." he said and paused, a thought coming to mind. "Though...um... you may not want to just go around randomly grabbing tails...... others may not exactly... like that..." he said, sighing. Of course, there were those kinds of pae who might like it too much and he'd hate to see the poor gal end up in either situation. Instead he felt obliged, like a cat with a toddler, tolerating it for the time being to keep her out of trouble.

Zofie was torn between wanting to help Stia up and wanting him to stay down there and think about what he had done! Right now, angry held firm, where he was was a fit punishment. The red Fae wasn't making any friends with her either. It wasn't the other's fault, as far as Zofie knew. It wasn't like Stia had a sign saying he was her date. It was unfair to blame her.
Stia on the other hand was completely misbehaved. Dragging him to the table to place her gift, as much for his safety at this point since she was tempted to use again. "Doing what you did on the dance floor like that, with a total stranger now less, how could you, Stia?" Her eyes said angry, her sad pout gave off its own message.
Of course, that little wave the red fae gave had Zofie reconsidering if some of the blame might need to go back to the other one. Slowly though, she was less angry, more embarrassed with her own response, and feeling just a tad bit humiliated.
Grinning proudly, she thought there was a chance she could get away with this. No Momma getting frustrated so just maybe the Alma-sense was broken? She had to have overloaded it by now. That thought brought a toothy grin, she'd have to test that out. It wasn't she meant to be a bad kid, she loved her momma with all her little heart. There was a sense of rebellion with doing something and not getting caught, that was an awesome feeling.
Kylieam brought up a point, she supposed she wouldn't like it if people grabbed her antennae. With a woeful look, she finally let go of the tail and rocked back. Giving the tail a sad farewell, she waved at it before casting her eyes back up to the the purple demon. Pouting still she said, "Sorry." and placed her hands behind her back grasping them there.
Rocking from her heals to the balls of her feet and back again she told him, "I wish I had a tail." They were neat, and then she'd be more like Tora-momma!

Ah, her old stomping grounds. Shakira entered gracefully, a wild sort of beauty she was. A celebration for Venus's engagement, the harpy was slightly amused, and curious who the lucky man was. With all those sons, Shakira had always thought Venus was more like her, with a healthy appetite, at least not one to settle down.
The harpy perched herself upon a seat, her eagle-like eyes scanning the ballroom. Was that a fellow harpy? She saw at least one. Perhaps some of those eggs that had been lost had hatched. Interesting, Shakira had to wonder how many more were wandering among the pae of Telrunya.
