I'm so behind on music these days. But the bands I like are all listed on my profile. Don't ask me what's considered goth or not, I don't understand the stereotypes for music. Basically I like whatever sounds good, so ******** y0 couch. cool

Genre =/= Stereotype

Goth-rock is it's own genre and is defined by it's lyrical and audial style. It's been around since the late 70's, so it's not exactly a new genre.

I don't think I listen to Goth music. I think I listen to Laharl music. Which encompasses a myriad of things.

I listen to a lot of "goth" music, so to speak but my range varies.

I love a lot of industrial, ebm, electronica as well and a lot of those types of bands are seen in the goth subculture.

The only "Goth" music I listen to is music from "The Cure".
Other than that, I listen to mostly punk rock.

I listen to pretty much every genre of music. Goth, Industrial, EBM, Electronica, Punk, Rock, Pop, Rap, etc.

I do think that lots of people who want to "be Goth" listen to what they think Goth music is (sometimes they're right and sometimes they're not), because music is such an essential part of the subculture.
