Namaqua couldn't make himself put on a suit like his mate had. It looked quite fetching on Thaddeus, but he couldn't reconcile the style with his own. He'd instead opted for a simple white linen wrap around his waist and a necklace made of wood he'd carved himself. This was, of course, the proper way to present oneself to one's goddess, and since they were visiting his own goddess' sister...Namaqua figured this was close enough.

This place fills him with anxiety, he realizes as he glances around. The memories, or lack thereof, from the year previous flood him as he stands in Venus' hall again. Thaddeus' words break him from his thoughts. Happy Anniversary. He can't help but chuckle. "I suppose it is our anniversary," he says with a fond smile. And what a year it had been. "Happy anniversary to you too," he says, touching his nose to Thaddeus' affectionately. "Hopefully this one'll be more, er, memorable than the last." He touches his head. That had been a hangover he doesn't want to repeat.

Hoity shrugged his shoulders before pulling Lust closer again and leading her off into the steps of the waltz. Handsome man in front of her, eh? At least she wasn't blind, at least if he had anything to say about it. As he took a few steps, moving her about gracefully, he flicked his head a bit, his shades falling back over his eyes just to give him that tad bit more hint of flare. They did after all match the rose in his pocket, which he had planned to give Lust after the date was over. "Do these types of things always happen on this... Valentines day?" he asked, keeping his chin high up. "We called it something else back home, but I never did much dancing." he mused to himself. Juuust designing dresses for high paying cuuustomers. he said, his characteristic drawl returning.

"I'm not waiting for anyone," says Tariq, shaking his head. He smiles and takes her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Louise. I'm Tariq."

He steers them toward the dance floor. "You look lovely," he says with an appreciative smile. He especially loves her hair. He puts his free hand on her hip and begins to sway in time with the music. He'd never been much of a dancer, but he's learned that the trick to it is just to move with the rhythm. "So have you been to one of these parties before?" he asks, looking around. "I hear Venus throws one every year."  

[FA Goddess Eris]

Before addressing Venus' rudeness, Eris looked around the party, and a crooked grin spread across her face.

"But why, dear friend? Do you not enjoy my company? I'm hurt." she faux pouted, and waved her arms back in a flourish. It was subtle, and only the most observant Pae'il would notice that all entry points and windows became shrouded by the grey and purple mist. "I can mingle, I like meeting new folks. This island is primitive, but the locals look ... quaint." She gave a look of disdain as she glanced at the orange thing with hooves and wings pass by with another purple thing with huge hair.

"Oh man, I can't even fake it. Really? Venus? Are you slumming it?" she said, holding her hand up to the side of her mouth as if that blocked anyone else from hearing her.

Fea Line

Lust followed the fellow in front of her around the dance floor, perfectly in time with him and the music and nodded, making sure her chin was kept high "well lets put it this way, last year, I was born due to one of my grandmothers valentines day parties, my other father, Himeros, the God of Lust, is why I am considered a demi-goddess, so yes, strange things do happen at these parties, it just depends on what happens and why it is always a surprise when it does, no one knows what will happen when my grandmother throws a party" she said as she turned with the other "and you called it something else? Tell me please, what was it that you called this day?" She asked curiously, getting to know more about these new beings would be interesting for her "well I think you dance divinely." Lust said and giggled "so not much has changed except your home and not having a reputation anymore, well then, I guess we have some work to do" she said, some what indirectly forcing herself to now become his new model and P.R Pae "that is, if you don't mind" she said, but if this dress was anything to go by she would happily play walking model for him, she might get a new wardrobe and she would be helping out a friend which was most important.

The pale grey 'stallion' in the corner lifted an eyebrow, noting the disturbance near the throne. What's this...? A smirk spread over 'his' face, and with the distraction going on over there, made no moves to hide it. Oh, how delightful! Yes, the love feast was a glory in itself, but some entertainment was never amiss.

Setting the cup down on the punch table, the pegasus made the effort of seeming to mingle with the others, all attention on this interesting new arrival talking to the pink, fluffy, love puff on the throne.

Thaddeus could feel how tense Namaqua was and slowly draped his arms over the other male's shoulders, smiles and gladly rubbed his nose with Namaqua's quickly stealing a small kiss from him. "I'm not drinking, that's for sure." Anniversary was a word he never thought he'd ever say but here he was saying it with a smile on his face. Tonight was going to be special for the both of them!...Well that's what he WAS thinking until he saw the cloaked figure move across the room and stood in front of the hostess, wondering about an invitation that was never sent...Then the purple doors and windows...Oh no...

Thaddeus sighed and moved into more of an embrace, holding Namaqua close to himself while whispering in his ear. "Don't look now but it looks like you'll be getting your wish..." Thaddeus's attention was fully on the strange purple misty one. "I have a feeling we're gonna be in for a long night again..."  

[FA Venus]

"Eris, please leave. I don't want you here. And please refrain from insulting these Pae'il. They're lovely beings, and that one you so rudely pointed out is Himeros' daughter. They're here to pay tribute to their Goddess of Love, not to mingle with the likes of you." Venus made a dismissive shooing motion with her hands towards Eris.

"I'll have my boys escort you out if you don't want to leave on your own."

Venus' first concern was avoiding a scene.

Nafretiti

Children? God of Lust... demi gods. He had no idea what this gal was talking about. Could those be anything like his Princesses? "So your like.... a lesser Princess." he stated though mostly to himself. That probably made little sense to her as did her talk of gods and goddesses did to him. At least, that explains where her name came from, though he wasn't in any mood to wind up with children. She was lovely but not that lovely. "Back at home, we called it Hearts and Hooves day." he said, leading her across the floor and back the way they came again. And then he smirked. "Miss Lust, are you offering to become my model? You dooo seem to fill out my dress quite nicely."  

[FA Goddess Eris]

Eris sneered. "So the hooven orange thing is related to you? You have really let yourself go, sweetheart. What happened to your reputation?"

Eris moved around a little walking a little ways in one direction, looking at a Pae'il couple before moving in another direction to look at another, all while insulting Venus' choice to muddy her bloodline. Then again, the hedonists wouldn't care, now would they. She looked at her nails, and seemed to pick at a flake of her polish before taking one last look around the room. All of the Erotes and Graces were right where she wanted them.

Perfect.

"You know what? I don't think I want to be at this stuffy, pink-infested cootie fest. I'm going to have my own party. And borrow all of your party's guests." She grinned at Venus, strumming her fingers together.

She turned around and addressed the party guests, "Let's play a game!"

Lillison smiled, it sounded like Lugh wasn't very interested in dancing either. She took cue from the angel and looked around the ballroom, it was then she noticed the mist. "Oh dear," she said meekly. Lillison wasn't sure what was going on, perhaps it was just effects that Venus could do, decoration. The naiad returned her gaze to Lugh her eyes filled with uncertainty. "Well, what do you usually do at these parties?" Lillison asked Lugh, it had been his idea after all, although it seemed more likely that he had done this for her. As she looked around Lillison noticed the large aquariums. "Wow, I wonder how I can get one of those for me..."

Terran smiled at the femael, she admitted that something was off, but she wouldn't say what. Although it made sense for her not to share something like that with a stranger. When the pae started to wobble, Terran instinctively put his arm out to steady her. "Woah, are you alright?" he asked with concern. The pae had only just gotten here, she couldn't have gotten into any punch yet. "You don't need to apologize to me... wait what?" Not used to having legs? It took Terran a moment to put two and two together. He had never really seen a naiad before, but it made sense now. The look of understanding crossed his face as he nodded his head. "So you don't get out of the water very often, do you? What brings you here?" He asked in the friendliest way possible, not wanting her to get the wrong impression.

Dysmas was trying not to freak out under pressure, in the silence he could feel the judgement. He felt so stupid, he should have said something better, what could he have said though. When the pae finally spoke to him (it had felt like an eternity for the boy), he smiled. "Oh yeah!" he perked up, "I guess that explains why the invitation was for my mom and not for me... but it was a party-ish thing... so I had hoped that it might be a good time. "What about you?" Dysmas shook the other teens hand, feeling a little more at ease now that the awkward introduction was over, "Silvana..." he repeated, "cool, my name is Dysmas."

Louise lit up like a star when Tariq told her he wasn't waiting on anyone, she sucked in her lips for a moment to keep herself from exclaiming 'oh good'. The fae was delighted when the male took the lead, oh how she loved a man who made the first move, and this man was making all the moves. "Oh thank you," Louise beamed at the compliment. "Actually when you approached me, I thought to myself how dapper you look in that suit." She mentioned to him as she danced with him, now this was the kind of fun she loved, dancing. It was a simple dance, but a more pleasant start to the evening then she could ever ask for. "No, I have not been to one of these before. I do not know much about the hostess, apart from what the invitation said, but I do love a good party." When Louise noticed the events that were unfolding around them she smiled excitedly, "Oh and I do love a good show too!"  

[FA Venus]

"No games tonight, Eris. Maybe some other time. Phaenna, Kleta, please escort our lost guest from the temple immediately please." Venus waved towards her two daughters. They'd be most effective against Eris, considering they were the only warriors of her children. The rest of her children she noted strategically standing around the room.

"Dear friends, no need to be alarmed, dear Eris here simply ended up at the wrong party, so she'll be leaving now." she said with a flourish in a loud enough voice that her guests should have heard. She waved at the Mellon String Quartet to start playing so the guests can start ignoring the intruding pest.

"Yes, I guess you could put it like that, we are pretty much lesser Princes and Princesses" she said with a slight nod as she followed him "and so thats what you call this day, interesting, what other holidays, if you could call them as such, do you have?" She asked curiously as she nodded "yes, I guess I am am offering to become your model, one condition, whatever you make I get to have it as part of my wardrobe, I will wear anything you wear whenever I want but i would like to be paid in your clothes, if that is alright." Lust said to him before she looked up, hearing the new comer address the party goers but then carried on paying attention to Hoity once her grandmother said it would be fine to just ignore her.  

[Wolfs Heart]

Kleta had already been summoned closer to Venus by one of the chubby mellons and had only witnessed the end of the event. At her mother's command the green goddess searched out her sister Phaenna, and nodded her head as she marched towards the stranger with a lowered spear. "Come with us peacefully and there will be no trouble." Kleta told the stranger, prepared to grab her arm if the other needed to be dragged out of the ballroom.
