Darren blinked. "Really? Okay then... I'll get your bike out of the car." he smiled and went to the car with his key. So far, it seemed that his plan was working. The helpful prince act, being willing to work. 'He'll be mine in a week.' Darren thought to himself.

He finished packing up his things before going out; watching him remove his bike. "Thanks for today and the food, tomorrow is my treat," he said with a nod. Getting onto his bike before he looked over to him. "I left the study material and notes here since I can't carry it with me. So don't lose any of it alright."

Darren smiled some. "Okay. I treat the next time after, then." He promised. "I'll guard the notes with my life." He said with mock seriousness, watching him head off. Once Fuji was out of sight, he went back into his house. All in all, today had worked out well.

He waved to him before he began to pedal off, feeling slightly happy. Though part of him worried with how drunk his father was and whether or not he would fight with him again tonight.

Darren set the notes up neatly, then got ready for work. He had to be there in an hour, looking his best, or the boss would be pissed. Decked out in a professional suit, he re-brushed his hair and teeth. He had to be dazzling for his clients, after all. The people he hosted for were dating his image, not his actual personality, so he just had to act out a few parts. He smirked and checked himself over. "Today's going to be a good day for my wallet."

Luckily his father was out with his mother and his twin sister were at their aunts. So he had nothing to really do this time and was just going to watch something when he got his call from his cousin. He then groaned when he heard plans were changed and that they were going to go out to the host club today. "Alright alright...come pick me up in an hour," he muttered as he hung up the phone and went to get ready.

Darren was at work, fully putting his charm on an innocent little schoolgirl that was flustered by just about everything. Feh, easy. How she got enough money to pay for everything was a mystery to him, but he assumed it was parents. When her time was finally up, he escorted her out and went back to his assigned spot. Another client done, and plenty more to come. His wallet was going to be very happy, and he could buy that camera for their project without any problems. Being a host paid well.

After they had gotten to the club, he seemed to sigh as Jerry looked through the book. "Would you stop being so picky and just choose," he muttered, seeming to shake his head. After about a minute, he had picked out a man named Darren. He was just about to look at the picture when it was closed and taken away. 'It can't be the same one, just the same name,' he said, feeling nervous as they were being lead to another table.

"Got another client. Two of 'em. One's a real cute one." Darren nodded and put on his charming smile, only to have it freeze on his face. Oh s**t. "Hello." He stood and took the cousin's hand, kissing it lightly. "And what are your names?" 'Act like you don't know him... maybe he'll just think I have a twin or something.' He thought as he reached to kiss Fuji's hand as well. After all, he had to be a host, not a class project partner.

His eyes seemed to go wide, not sure what to do. He seemed to bite his lip when his hand was kissed. Yeah, this was his partner Darren. Breathing out; he knew better then to cause a scene at the others work. "I am Fuji...and this is my cousin Jerry."

Jerry seemed to shine brightly at the kiss, sitting on one side while Fuji sat on the other. "My my...that picture of yours does you no justice at all."

Darren chuckled. "Thank you, that's very kind to say. It might just be the glow from your beautiful faces." He responded, focusing the attention on them. THat was host rule number one: never talk about yourself, and deflect the conversation to the clients. Under the table, he got his phone out and texted something, leaving it on his leg so that Fuji could see it if he looked down. It read 'Act natural, and pretend that you don't know me.' His eyes never left Jerry and Fuji, however, and neither did his speech. He was very good at multi-tasking, and he had to focus on his two clients. Forget that one was his classmate. They were paying customers, and he had to treat them as such. "I don't think I've seen you around here. Where are you from?"

Fuji seemed to sigh a little, his eyes looking around when he spotted the phone. Blinking a bit; he tilted his head to read it. He seemed to roll his eyes at this point, now very glad that they only had Darren for two hours. “Oh I am from California,” he said with a small chuckle as he leaned against him. “Can we get some snacks? Me and Fuji haven’t had anything to eat and I know I am starving…what about you Fuji,” he asked, wondering why his cousin was so quiet. “Something to eat would be nice.” His tone was a little flat, not putting much emotion in it.

Darren nodded. "Of course." He looked at Fuji, gently tilting his chin up with one finger. It was always a ladykiller move, though he knew it wouldn't work. He still needed to pretend that he didn't know Fuji, or else there could be trouble. "Hmm... you do seem a bit down in the dumps. I'll have some sweets brought out. Please relax while I go get them." For added measure, he kissed their hands before gracefully leaving the table and going to the kitchen to pick up an assorted tray of foods.

His cheeks were a light red at this point, not able to resist his charm. “Okay,” they both said, watching him go. “Fuji he is a real charmer!” “I know he is a real charmer…you can tell by the way he talks.” “Do you think he does more then hand kissing,” he asked looking to his cousin with a grin. “Maybe…you are going to have to ask him that,” he said, feeling odd at seeing his cousin kiss a guy right in front of him.

Darren came back with the assorted treats, smiling warmly, though not in the same way as when he smiled at Fuji before. THis was a charming host smile, not a humble prince. "I hope that the food is to your liking." He cooed, picking up a chocolate covered strawberry. "The strawberries are fresh and delicious," He held one to Jerry's lips, though he planned on doing the same thing to Fuji. He didn't really want to do it to Jerry, but he had to treat them equally, and he knew that it was his present, after all, so he should be treated as a slight priority. "Would you like to try one?" His voice was silk, and his eyes took on the hypnotic effect that every trained host could create.
