You spent how much on a dog!?

When my dog was a puppy my dad used to feed him raw steak every so often...
So then when he grew up that was what he ate 90% of the time.

We probably spent more on hospital expenses on him than all our other animals combined-and we have a lot of animals...


The other 10% was pasta and pancakes :/

My cat would sit on me whenever I had to get up soon. It is like her super power to know when would be the most inconvenient time to curl up on me. And she is so adorable I don't want to move her :<

I don't find that crazy at all!
It's been about 11 months since my dog passed away, had him since I was 4 years old.
He was a brown and white boxer, seriously just the best dog I could have ever asked for.
Don't know when we'll ever get a new one though.

My dog is spoiled, but we still haven't spent too much on him. He has simple pleasures. Like vegetables. (Have you ever seen a dog beg for a piece of lettuce without any dressing? Or one that will pick only the ripe cherry tomatoes off of a vine if he can reach them?)

He also got pretty sick from his dog food last year so he was living off of homemade dog food for a couple of weeks after that. (And I had to use the boneless skinless chicken I had bought for myself in it. xD ) We also reuse the recipe if he runs out of dog food.

He also sleeps in my bed, despite having his own.
