The Alpha

"I intend to find my mate," she said. Alina said that but she wasn't sure if there was anyone in the village that she would want to mate with. It wasn't a good situation, the Old Ones wanted her to find one from her village.  

[NightWerewolf]

"That's cool. Suppose it's something I should really start trying for." Nero nodded a little.  

[Devourer of Cupcakes]

"I thought you were going to college. Do you really think it would be a good idea to have a mate while you are in school?" As they talked they grew nearer to the fourth name on her list. Her plus was beginning to speed up and she could feel the blood rushing through her veins.

"I think that if I wait to long I won't be able to find a mate." He said softly.

"That isn't true. Mates who are meant to be will wait however long it takes to meet the right one, so don't worry about time." She stopped and looked around noting that they had arrived.

Nero thought about it for a few seconds before nodding. "You're probably right." He stopped next to her and looked around. "So where are they?"

Alina looked back at her list for the address. "It should be right over...there!" She was the number on the house and quickly walked over and rang the door bell. "I hope he is home," she said the excitement evident in her voice.

Nero stood back. He didn't know what she was going to do, but he figured it would be worse than what happened to the last guy. Either way he didn't want any part of it.

The door opened to reveal Joe Haring. He was pretty cute though if he was still the same than he was a jerk. "Hi Joe, it's me Alina and I have something for you." He didn't move because of shock as she moved towards him going up on her tippy toes and placing her lips on his in a soft kiss. A moment pasted and pulled away with a smile on her face. "I wanted to do that when I was younger and I also wanted to do this." Her fist came out of nowhere and caught him square in the jaw knocking him out. "Ah, two down three to go. Ready Nero?"

Nero couldn't help but laugh as he watched Alina take him out. The guy had been a pain in his neck since the second grade. Maybe that would teach him for once. Nothing else ever seemed to work. He answered her question with a nod. "Yeah, let's go find number three."

She smiled at him. "Are you enjoying this Nero?"

Nero shrugged and looked at her. "Just that last one. I always hated that guy."

Alina folded the paper and slid it into her back pocket. They had to go about ten or so blocks before they reached the third person. "So you think what I'm doing is bad, but why are you coming with me?"  

[NightWerewolf]

"Like I told you when you asked me to come with you, I got nothing better to do." He pulled out his phone for a second before stuffing it back in his pocket. "I still got an hour and a half before I have to go to work." He shrugged. "That and I'm still hoping you remember me."

She frowned. "I'm not so sure that I will, but you never know, stranger things have happened. Like me becoming the Alpha...what a shocker."
