Tobias remembered not getting to see Arc for a long time. During that time, he was always trying to see her, but was always turned away. He couldn't imagine the pain she must've went through. Judging by his appearance and surroundings, his grandpa had to have deemed him a success.
Noah was four years old today. That seemed about right. Four years ago. Tobias could only grin at the boy, not knowing what else to do. Honestly, there was nothing he could do to the boy. None of this was his fault. Soon, there was cake and a present brought in for him. Noah was like any other child his age, having a love for all things sweet and mysterious. "It's nothing, Arc. I'll miss a check-up any day for you!" he whispered. Was she bringing him along? Knowing her, she'd figure a way to get him out.

Arc’s smiled faded a little as she watched her son run to the cake. “Use a fork, Noah. We are not animals,” she said, giggling at the irony. Noah looked at his mom and smiled, grabbing a knife and fork to eat his cake. “Noah, you’ll cut yourself with that!” she shouted, running over to him and grabbing the knife from his hand.
“Mama, how do you do that? Grandpa said you were blind, but you always know what’s going on,” Noah pouted at his inability to cut his own cake.
Arc smiled, “A mothers intuition,” she said smiling. Arc didn’t really needed to explain the third eye thing to a boy so young. Arc cut his cake and set a slice on a plate. She also cut a piece for Toby and brought it over to him. Arc watched as Noah destroyed his cake slice. She giggled, “He’s a good boy…he really is,” she said, her eyes deepening. “I may not have had him the way I planned…or with the person of my choice…”Arc looked at nothing as her eyes glazed over, “But he’s still my son, and I love him very much,” she hopped Toby understood her here. Because of the extra security for her son, she was unsure if there were cameras in his room. She had to be careful how she said things.
“Can I open my present now Mama!?” asked Noah.
Arc snapped back, smiling again, “Of course, I hope you like it,” she beamed, grabbing hold of Toby’s arm for support, she wasn’t feeling well at the moment. She laid her head on his arm.
Doll opened her eyes and sat up in her room. She wasn’t as tired as she thought she was. She felt a need to explore the halls again. Perhaps meet a few new people…a dragon perhaps. Doll moved thru the many layers of the Under World until she was in the room of the dragon girl, “You’re name is Sora…correct?” she asked from the shadows.

Tobias watched as Noah was about to go ballistic on the cake with a knife in one hand and a fork in the other. Arc immediately stopped him as all mothers do and cut it for him. She then cut a piece for Tobias and handed it to him. Tobias ate his cake and laughed, watching Noah destroy his piece.
"The kid's amazing. I never thought something like this was possible without something going wrong. I love the kid and I just met him! You have a right to be proud of Noah. I would be," Tobias told her. As the boy opened the gift he'd recieved, Arc took a hold of his arm and rested her head on him. Tobias stroked her hair a few times, watching Noah open the box.

Arc smirked a bit, “Who said nothing went wrong?” she giggled, “ He was one hell of a labor…that’s for sure. I’m just glad there were not stretch marks,” she shuttered at the thought. “ I was lucky enough to have all the doctors around to insure it was completely safe. My father was so proud…” she choked up a bit at this. Even if Arc knew that she was simply the mans achievements embodied. It still hurt that her own father did nothing about his own daughter going through what she had. “All he could say was how proud he was of me,” she buried her face in Toby’s chest for a moment, holding back tears that begged to be set free. Her eyes burned with the effort.
“Mama! A toy gun!” Noah shouted with glee. He began to run around with it, shooting his toys with rubber darts.
Arc pulled herself away, quickly wiping away her tears. “That’s wonderful that you like it! I’m glad,” she giggled, running over to her son and giving him a big hug.
“Mamaaaaaa! I’m a big boy now, stop hugging me so much!” Noah pouted.
“Oh but I love to hug my baby boy!~” she giggled, kissing his forehead and tickling him. Noah began to laugh as Arc laughed along with him.

As she talked about the troubles of childbirth. How proud of her father was. Tobias knew that the man was proud alright. Proud that his dreams were made real. Arc and the kid were an afterthought. He wrapped an arm around the blind girl as she fought back tears.
Noah was excited that he'd gotten a dart gun. He emptied out the darts all over his others toys which were now going to be used for target practice. Again, Arc put her pain and sadness on hold in order to be happy for her son. She hugged him, despite his protesting her not to. He was a big boy after all. As a mother it was Arc's job to do that. Tobias laughed along with them. It was rare for Tobias to laugh this way, or have this emotion.

"Yeah it is," Sora said with a genuine smile. "Your Doll right?" When she gave the affirmative on that Sora asked," What are you doing down here its dangerous...." Oi deja vu much? she thought. Hopefully this conversation would be more calm than the one with Arc and Tobias.

Doll allowed herself to be seen this time, though Sora seemed to already know who she was. “Correct, Doll is my given name,” she walked about the girls cell, she looked towards one on her walls. She walked over to it, putting a finger on it in curiosity. “Dangerous? I suppose it is, isn’t it? She smiled widely at the girl. “Do not worry, I simply came her to confirm some information that had been leaked,” she said, still barely looking at the girl. This time she walked up to Sora herself and examined her face. It was pretty enough. “I hear that you know some information on Arc Angel. Would you be so kind and tell me what you know about her. I need all the information you have on her for my portfolio,” of course Doll was just being silly here, but she was still curious. “That is, if you wouldn’t mind telling me your little story,” she said, sitting down on a chair she found and crossed her legs politely.
Arc smiled at hearing Toby laugh, it had been a while since she had heard him laugh like that. It warmed her heart to see him so cheery.
“Mamaaa, quite it!” pouted Noah, freeing himself of his mother. She straighten up his hair and tried to look as mature as a four year old could.
Arc giggled, standing up after her little rustling game with her son. “I’m soooo sorry young prince! I will never touch you again,” she teased, walking over to the boys bed and laying on it.
This caught Noah of guard. He looked at Toby, as if pleading for help on this subject. “W-Well, I didn’t say you couldn’t touch me! I just said don’t treat me like a baby!” he said. “Tell her Toby! She needs to know the different, Mama’s stupid like that.”
“Ooooh! You so did not just call your mother stupid!” Arc shot up from the bed, her face slightly irritated. “Did Toby teach you such words?! Because I know I never taught you that word!” Arc jumped up from the bed and grabbed hold of her son and holding him at arms length in front of Toby. “Did he teach you that word?” she grumbled, but not seriously angry.
Noah dangled helplessly in front of Toby, “Grandpa told me that word!” he shouted, as if that would get him out of trouble.
“Well now it all makes since. Don’t listen to what your grandfather has to say, he’s a big dummy!” she groaned. Arc held Noah close to her body, in a hug, “Don’t you call me that now. It’s not nice,” she explained. Noah nodded. Arc smiled, “Now then. I was thinking for your birthday…I take you out to the court yard to play!” she said with a grin.
A smile burst from the young boys face, “Yeah! Let’s go!” he said, wiggling in her arms.

"It's ok, Arc! Let him be a boy! He's smarter and stronger than most four year old boys anyway. If you don't quit babying him now, then he's just going to be spoiled!" Tobias told Arc in her son's defense. Then Noah called her stupid. Oohh, bad choice of words! Arc grabbed him, knowing the only other people he'd come into contact with. "I-I didn't do it! I just met the kid!" he stuttered.
Noah spat out that it was his grandfather. That was the only other possible explanation. Arc made sure that her son understood that he shouldn't say it and that he shouldn't listen to his grandfather. "You shouldn't! I don't! I'm supposed to be in a doctor's appointment with him right now! But I'm going to the courtyard with you!" he smiled. Tobias had said too much. Apparently, the old man was always watching and the guards entered the room and made him leave. "See ya tomorrow, Noah! Happy birthday!" shouted Tobias as they hauled him down the corridor.

"Y-you want to know my story?" Sora looked at the small girl. "Um well long story short I my dad was abusive my mom was jealous of how much time the idiot spent torturing me and shipped me off to the orphanage then i ended up as the dragon chimera.... And the most I know about Arc Angel is she a smart girl who doesnt take no for an answer. She is brave and strong. Hows that?" Sora sighed then got an idea. "Hey Doll since i told you all i know about Arc and a little bit of my story can you tell me yours?"

Doll knew most of what Sora had told her, but her story was interesting enough. “I see…so you were fused after birth. That would explain your current instability…” she mumbled the last part to herself. “You wish to know my story? Hmm, very well then. I’m like most of the children here. Dear ol’ mommy blended my unborn body with black bear DNA and shadows. Which is beyond interesting. I am still curious about that…”she went off for a moment, but quickly returned to the subject at hand, “Anyway, my father thinks I’m dead, my mother died giving birth to me, and I’ve lived here my whole life,” she said with ease. “But I have another question for you,” this time she was more serious then she let on, “You’ve had contact with Arc more then once. Perhaps you could tell me of your first encounter with her,” she said.
Arc watched Toby leave along with the guards sadly. She always hated to see him go, knowing what it was like there with her father. He was a very cold person. “Alright Noah…let’s go and play in the courtyard, maybe Toby can meet up with us later,” she sighed.
As Arc entered the courtyard with her son, Noah smiled and jumped out of his mothers arms as soon as he say the swing set.
“You coming Mama?” he shouted as he glided over to it and sat down.
“Oh no sweetie, Mommy needs to sit for a while, I’ll watch you from here for now,” she smiled, sitting on a bench. As Noah began to swing and giggle, Arc went into her own little world, staring up at the large globe that hide them away from the rest of the world. Would their escape be possible? What if they were caught prematurely? The punishment would be horrible….

Tobias was not thrilled about meeting the doctor himself. But it had to be done. They had to meet at least once every three months. It'd been five since he'd gotten a check-up from him. The guards brought Tobias to his room to clean up before he got there. Once in his room, he quickly brushed his teeth and left his shirt behind. He wasn't going to need it anyway. Finally, he was escorted to the med room and left alone. Tobias stood there, feeling his approaching footsteps coming.

The Doctor opened the door to see that Tobias had finally made his way here. Took him long enough. “I see we’re just taking our time when it comes to our appointments? I’m glad you see this as a come and go operation,” he said, snapping his glove on his wrist dangerously. He detested tardiness, and he detested Tobias more. “I see you already have your shirt off good,” the Doctor began to examine Tobias skeletal structure. Unlike most humans, Tobias had two extra ribs then a normal human. It was because of his snake side. Snakes were made up of mostly ribs for more flexibility. Tobias’s extra rib’s gave him more flexible bone structure. And insured his ribs wouldn’t collapse into his lungs in he was in a tight squeeze. If Tobias wasn’t such an amazing success, Gabriel would have already locked him up with the dragon.
I see you’ve been playing with Arc again…and now you’ve met her child…”he was obviously not to keen on this idea, that much showed as he continued with his check up. “Amazing isn’t he? A prefect mixture of two Chimera into one body, and he’s stable too,” now he was just making small talk, with a purpose. “He’s the first to have survived this long. It seems if we want to mix two creatures together, it has to be of natural causes…”he went on. Tobias may have begun to wonder why he was telling him all of this, but Gabriel was getting to it. “I’ve always wondered…what perhaps a dragon snake would look like. But then I remember that they are to similar to give any interesting results. So perhaps something like Noah again, two different species blended into one body,” now the Doctor began to grin, pulling out a needle and poking Tobias with it, injecting his usual vitamin supplement. “Now…what would a bird and snake Chimera look like?” his grin was now very visible. So he had finally revealed his plan to one of the main contributors!
Arc watched as Noah jumped from the swing, trying to fly high. He flapped his small wings, but he fell like a rock. He shouted in pain.
“Noah!” she jumped up and ran over to her son who held onto his newly skinned knee. He didn’t seem to be to upset about it, but she was in a crazy hurry. She picked him up and ran over to the fountain where she began to rinse it clean.

The doctor enetered the room, that same blank, angry look as always. He got on Tobias about being late all the time. "Well, I'm a healthy guy, why should I come around if there's nothing wrong?" he shrugged. As the doctor felt his ribs, he finally said something about Noah and Arc. "Yep. The little guy's incredible. Why're you talking to me so much? What do you want?" Tobias asked.
The doctor didn't answer him but just kept going. He'd walked away, going to get a needle for his vitamin shot. Tobias gave him his arm as the speech continued. The point was becoming clear. This man wanted more of Noah. He wanted them to start breeding like the animals they were! Right before the shot, he said something about him and Sora. "No way in hell would I do that! I met her and she's brat!" he said as the shot was administered. The doctor had the same afterthought as Tobias as well. Snakes and dragons are both serpents, so a monster serpent is all you'd get. Besides, Sora was unstable. As soon as the shot was over he said the magic words.
Tobias and Arc. That was it! The doctor had lit a fire with in Tobias. He would never do that to Arc! Not after the trauma she'd already been through. Jumped off the table and grabbed the doctor with lightning speed. Tobias' eyes were raging and his voice was a low alluring hiss. "You get idea out of your head right now! We are not your damned toys! Arc was raped because of you!!" Tobias said screaming the last part. If he wanted to, he could easily claw his head if he wanted to.

"Ok Ill tell you but you cant tell Toby or Arc that I told you because I dont know how they would react. But anyway I first met Arc when she came down here and was looking for something while the gaurds were somewhere else and someone grabbed her so I made a huge racket so the gaurds would come before she got serously hurt.... That is how I first met Arc Angel." Sora said with a small smile.

((Yes! Just like I had hoped you would! Thank you Otaku-kun!))
[color-indigo]The cut was worse then Arc would have guessed. He must have fallen on something sharp, and she was a little worried about his bones. Because Noah was also part bird, his bones would be just as hallow as her own. “Does it feel broken sweetheart?” she asked with concern.
Noah held his leg, and his tears like the trooper he was. He bent his leg and winced in pain, “I think it’s fine…but it still hurts Mommy,” he said, whipping away the tears that dared to escape his eyes.
Arc thought so, he would need to go see her father. Knowing Dr. Gabriel, he would scold Arc for putting Noah in that type of situation. She sighed, preparing herself for the worst scolding of her life. She put Noah on her hip and began to walk towards the door that lead to her fathers office.
Doll raised an eye brow. So something traumatic had happened to her down here after all. Doll smiled, she was right, something dark inside of Arc had appeared that day, and you could see it…if you were looking for it of course. “I see, so you are her savior then? I should thank you for that,” Doll folded her legs the other way as she sat on the old chair that threatened to break. “You’re a good person….which makes me wonder who you ended up here in the first place. I have heard the Scientists say things about how unstable your genetic coding is. It appears that your temper isn’t your own,” she mumbled.
Arc had finally made her way to her fathers office. By now Noah’s leg was covered in blood, yet he still didn’t shed a tear. “You’re doing so well, honey. We’re finally here. Grandpa will fix you right up,” she smiled, but stopped. Something was going on behind that door. Arc nervously opened the door and caught some of the conversation.
“You get that idea out of your head right now! We are not your damned toys! Arc was raped because of you!” screamed an angry Toby.
Arc paused in her attempts to try and open the suddenly very heavy door. She felt a rock slide down her throat and splash into her stomach. Her knees went a little weak, almost dropping Noah. She hated that word. Oh how she hated that word. Every time she heard it, memories flashed through her mind. Things she didn’t ever want to remember, never! Arc’s eyes glanced over at Noah at that moment. She stayed silent, listening on.
The Doctor only smirked as Tobias threatened him. It was amusing. “Put me down boy, before I have you sent to the lowest levels of this facility,” he said. When Tobias didn’t, Gabriel took plan B. He grabbed a syringe from the counter and slashed Tobias in the eye. He didn’t injure the eye, just below it. Snakes were very sensitive when it came to their eyes; he’d let go for sure now. When he did, Gabriel whipped off his coat as if it were dirty.
“Toby!” Arc shouted, running into the room finally. She set Noah onto the examination table and ran over to where Toby had fallen. She grabbed his face in her hands and looked at his face with concern. Her third eye could see the damage that had been done.
Gabriel frowned, his daughter was so weak willed. He picked up a walky talky and called a guard, “I need a guard here. Tobias needs to be detained in the lower levels due to behavioral issues,” he said. He thought for sure Tobias would have willingly mated with Arc. He thought he may have had a thing for her; and he was positive that Arc liked the boy. Why else would she have put up with his behavior for so many years?
At hearing her fathers command, Arc stood straight up, her wings flaring high above her, shielding Noah and Tobias from view. “No!” she shouted at her father. “This boy is mine!” she hissed, her eyes very serious.
Gabriel looked at his daughter with surprise. She never stood up for herself. She was usually a coward. But he could tell she was quite serious. “Girl, leave, this has nothing to do with you,” but Arc didn’t move.
