[Gold Marra]

Yuka cringed as the old bandages were removed. "I'm Yuka..." she said after a moment. She thought for a moment then asked, "how did the army manage to survive? well... not so much survive, but survive and still have water?"

Dervanus

"I would prefer to have it now. I cant say i trust you guys entirely to keep me safe until we get back to this 'base'." Dervan said a little bit ticked then looked over at Zach. "Its Dervanus."

 

[raozspaz]

Zach sighs, knowing that now he has to explain it again. "The military had access to a massive bunker. It was actually more of a test project, but it was there. Several thousand people were evacuated into it and we were trying to rescue more when the bunker entered lock down. I ended up being cuffed so that i wouldnt run out to try and find more people." Zach looks down a little bit as he ties off the bandages, finishing his work. "As for the water, the bunker's filtration system is fantastic. So the bunker has a ready supply of water. Its just food that we are going to be worrying about by the end of next month."

Trevor looks around at all the rest of the squad, including Zach. In all, there is him, Zach, Miquel, Darias, and Stephanie (the only girl). "Fine." Trevor gets the pistol out of Zach's bag and tosses it to Dervanus. "Just dont try anything stupid with it. We outnumber you."  

[Gold Marra]

Yuka nodded. "well it sucks that you couldn't get us all in there." she said as she replaced her quiver and bow, which she had taken off so that Zach could replace the bandage. She turned around. "alright, I guess it's now or never then." she peaked over his shoulder when she saw movement a little off.  

[raozspaz]

Zach stands up and flips his rifle over his shoulder. He notices Trevor give the pistol to Dervanus and it sets an unsettling feeling in Zach. But he deals with it. "Well. This is my squad. There is me of course, Trevor. He is my med officer. Miquel. He is my heavy weapon specialist." A large rocket launcher is strapped on Miquel's back. He is the one soldier that stayed with Trevor and Zach. "Then there is Darias and Stephanie. My two newest privates." As he says off names, he points to the people. When he says Darias and Stephanie, both of them remove their head gear, and sure enough, Stephanie is a girl.

Dervanus

"Thank you." Dervanus said as he pulled the slide on the gun back putting a round in the chamber. He smiled and put the gun through his belt. "Well then. Now that were all aquainted how about we head back to that base. Im cold, its dark and im tired."

 

[Gold Marra]

Yuka nodded, looking at each person in turn. She didn't spend any more time looking at Stephanie, than she did the others. It was normal for elves to have females fighting alongside males, so she thought it was normal for humans aswell. She then looked at Dervanus. "it's not cold, it's rather nice weather actually... considering." she looked at the fine ash that was floating around them.  

[raozspaz]

"Yeah. Well then. Time to get moving." Zach and his squad begin to move down a large pile of rubble that has stacked against the building, probably came from another nearby building that collapsed. He knows that the radio is still active, now he just has to hope no one has messed with it.

Yuka followed Zach down the hill of rubble. She looked around at the damage done to the city. "what area of the city was this? was it housing? or was it a public area?" Yuka asked Zach as she continued to look around.

Dervanus

"Well i guess i just got thin skin." Dervanus said laughing then began following Zach.

 

[raozspaz]

"Well. This are used to be the commercial district. Lots of large stores and skyscraper buildings used to be all over the place here and now there are only a few buildings still remaining standing." Zach looks around, still not having the best of feelings for this area.

(lol, we need bandits...)
Yuka nodded then looked up, she had heard something move through the rubble, and just caught sight of someone moving in the shadows. Her bow was in her hand within seconds, drawn back fully with an arrow sitting in place. She pointed it at the shapes which were now emerging from the shadows. there was about 10 of them.  

[raozspaz]

(HA! I was just about to do something like that. I was just waiting for the bottom of the hill)

Zach sees the bandits and lets out a long sigh. "Couldn't of you guys just left us alone." Zach grabs a pistol from its holster and begins firing on the bandits, hitting and killing two of them before running out of ammo. "Guys, kill them." He says to his men as they get into a firing position and begin to engage.

Dervanus

Dervanus smiled at the site of the bandits and pulled out his pistol. He pointed it at one of the bandits and pulled the trigger. The bandits left eye suddenly exploded and the bandit fell to the ground. "1 Down." He said as he shot at another bandit hitting this one in the chest.

 

[Gold Marra]

Yuka reliesed her arrow and pulled out another arrow. She watched the first one soar to one of the bandits and get him in the neck. She fired the second, getting the next one in the chest.
