Breakfast:
Slept through it

Lunch:
Golden Chick
Corn nuggets
4 chicken tenders
Roll
A few pieces of friend okra

Dinner:
Spaghetti and meat sauce
Broccoli
Lettuce with a vinaigrette
Piece of chocolate

Half an hour on the elliptical!

The Golden Chick was not supposed to happen. My boyfriend and I tried to go like.... three places and they were all really busy or closed. We were pressed for time so it was really a last resort.

But I feel like I ate pretty well the rest of the day, and I burned over 300 calories on the elliptical! So I think I did okay overall.

I haven't been able to work out the last couple days because I've had way too much to get done. I might try to go work out the next couple days before I go home for spring break on Tuesday. So I won't really be able to work out this coming week either. I'm gonna try REALLY hard to do so the week after, but I'm in tech so... we'll see I guess.

Breakfast:
Slept through it

Lunch:
Chick-fil-a
4 piece chicken strip
Waffle fries

Dinner:
Some cheesey potatoes
Two brownies D:

Today has kind of sucked, I feel kinda crappy. I might try and go work out tomorrow. Worst part is I'm out of vegetables, and I'm going home in a few days for spring break, so I don't really want to go grocery shopping just yet.

Sigh.

Last couple days have been epic failures... spring break, what are you doing to me. But I'm at home and being fed by my mommy, so it's all good now!

Food for today:

Brunch:
Six homemade waffles xD

Dinner:
Two pieces of chicken
Rice
Broccoli
Lots of salad

Snack:
Apple

I feel slightly better about eating crappy yesterday since I went to the Flogging Molly concert yesterday and moshed my little heart out. So much fun (and a great workout!)

Anyway, I'm starting to get majorly stressed out over money right now. I have some medical bills stacking up thanks to my stupid swollen lymph node we wanted to make sure was benign. I missed a bunch of work at the beginning of the semester, so I had no income, and now I found out I owe about $1000 in taxes D: I fortunately have money in savings, but I REALLY didn't want to dip into that if I could help it. My mom's all over my case about it too, which is not helping stress levels. Ugh.

Breakfast:
Some all fiber cereal.
Milk

Snack:
Tabbouleh

Lunch:
Tabbouleh
Edemame and carrot salad
Salad
Kafka (beef)
Three small yeast rolls

Dinner:
Edemame salad
Tabbouleh
Two small yeast rolls

So I ate a little more than I probably should have, but considering it was pretty much all veggies in light, homemade vinaigrette, I think I'm okay. But seriously, that's a TON of veggies.

My mom gave me my Easter present early, and she got me the "Cook This, Not That" cook book. I flipped through it and it has some really tasty looking recipes. I'm way excited to try some of them, they looked delicious. I was also reading a diet book her friend got her. It's a lot of common sense stuff like avoid white carbs, eat whole grain etc, but there's some interesting stuff in there. Apparently vinegars are good for you, since they can help maintain your blood sugar. Apparently maintain blood sugar is really important, that's what I've learned. I'd read more, but my mother seems to have taken the book somewhere.

Should have nixed the raspberry tea, but I drink things besides water so infrequently, it was a nice change.

Went grocery shopping and my mom bought me a ton of groceries, which will help greatly with my current money situation.

I've been stealing small bite size pieces of cake though out the day.

Half an hour on the elliptical.
Yikes, I've been gone for a week. I had tech week number two last week, so things got crazy. I ate pretty well, except for this past weekend. Went out for sea food with Brad Friday, had some Taco Bell Saturday night. Yuck. My roommate also made a cake that I'll periodically grab a bite of. Medieval Faire was this weekend too, so I had a bunch of cream soda, giant turkey leg... sigh.

But the rest of my semester is looking really open, so I'm hoping to work on eating better and working out more until May when I have to go home. I've been feeling really fat and gross, so I'm feeling really motivated, especially with Brittany's wedding sneaking up on me.

Yikes, the last week was rough diet wise.... I was out of town at a theatre conference, so I was pretty much always eating out. I did my best, but I had very limited options... ugh.

But I'm pretty much in the clear until the beginning of May, so I'm going to become really diligent with my diet and exercise routine. I can do it!

Food for the day:

Breakfast:
Two pieces of wheat toast with butter and cinnamon sugar
Yogurt
Glass of orange juice

Lunch:
Slimfast shake
Yogurt
Baby carrots

Snack: Granola bar

Dinner: Breaded tilapia w/black bean, avocado, and corn
An artichoke with butter
Cadburry cream egg

Snack: A few saltines
