"Yeah, everyone does. But no one cares, and that's how it should be." Toya said, peeking up at him.

"im not like them," he said." you cant live like this!"

Toya sighed "I have too, they're all I've got anymore." More tears rolled down her cheeks.

"dont you have aunts, or uncles?! other relatives?!"he said, worried now

"Nope, they all died. Dont know how though." Toya told him looking at the floor.

"now friends?"he asked"no one to be a foster parent?"

Toya shook her head "Nope." She told him.

joey thought about this.

Toya closed her eyes again, her phone rang again, it was her gandfather "What now?" She groaned then answered it. "Hello?" She answered "Your grandmther wants to speak with you." He said. Toya flinched as she was yelled at. Alot of the words weren't meant for teenage ears.

joey grabbed the phone and coverd it so they choudnt hear. "not very.....woman like."he said

"I know, but that's her." Toya said, the bell then rang "Well time for second period." Toya said and stood up. She wiped away her tears andheld her hand out for her phone.

joey hung up and gave it back. "see ya later"he said smiling, trying to cheer her up.

Toya smiled too "Thanks, I'll see ya later, I guess." She said walking down the hall way, with pink tinted cheeks. He's nice she thought.

joey sat down. he started writing in a book. poor girl he thought again
