The Room Of Requirement

Katie stands in front of the door, waiting for Summer, Kitty and Sam. She doesn't feel right about invading on where Summer hid her jewel, so she just stands there. "Besides, I have no idea where it is," she mutters.

Sam walks over to see Katie. "Hey. I got my necklace. So we have the jewel for Rowena. Do you think that the statues have bases, and when the jewel is put in it's special place they open up to reveal their items...just think about it. The first Ravenclaw badge, the first ravenclaw uniforms. They say that the uniforms used to be all of the colors of the house, just not black. I wonder if Rowena's was opened before, and that was her original place for her diadem."

"I hadn't thought of that. I'm most interested in Salazar's items. He is the most vague of them all. You didn't really hear much about him after he left Hogwarts. Think of all of the things that may be down there. You know, he was said to be very musical," Katie says. She is anxiously awaiting Summer so that they may enter the room.

Kitty leaned against the wall, "Slytherin was musical? Now you two've got me even more curious about what's down there. Didn't think that was possilbe. wink "

"Well that was really the whole reason that the Forgotten Chamber was formed. Music used to be offered at Hogwarts. When the founders left, it got lost......"

"Really? So it wasn't just for rare volumes of sort of another..." Kitty trailed off, remembering the magical violin that played itself that Katie had found.

Sorry guys, I ran to the common room to get the slip of paper with my vault number on it.
I need a place to store this necklace. A place that only I can enter, unless I am with someone else, and allow them to enter it with me, without force...
*Summer thought to herself, the exact words she had thought before when she opened the vault room...the door slowly appeared before their eyes, as if it was building itself into the stone walls.*
Okay everyone...inside.
*Summer entered the room, which was full of vaults and safes, stacked one on top of the other and walked down several aisles, finally turning left when the numbers started going from 2012 to 2022. Her vault was vault number 2028. She stopped short in front of her vault and began winding the knob to the combination she had set. Before she opened it, she turned to her friends.*

"Absolutely!" Katie says.

Sam rushed into the chamber. "Just think about that. I wonder if'll we'll find a pre-century harpsichord or even a lyre.

"I'm so excited!" Katie says. "You're right, Sam!!! We could find all sorts of things."

Katie looks around her at the other vaults and safes. She spots the key and runs over to go get it. When she gets it, she brings it back to Summer and asks, "Is this it, Summer?"

*Summer had had her ear up against the vault, waiting for the final click of the lock to go off. She opened the door and pulled out the sparkling necklace. It was then that she heard Katie's question. She looked over to Katie.*

Yes, that's the one. See how it has that inscription on the thicker side? *she reads the inscription* Ut specialis porro alieno...To secrets long forgotten...

Doesn't it sound like it's mentioning the Forgotten Chamber?

"Oh it does Summer!" Sam then took her necklace. It said the same thing. "Now we just have to find the other two. Maybe when they're all connected, they unlock the original flag of Hogwarts, or the original crest. It's said to have jewels and made from Goblins."

Or what about finding portraits, or sculptures, or other works of art from the founders! Or their own personal treasures...what about records of the school, or diaries!
