My dad likes them well enough. My mom doesn't, but she will tolerate it. She does like some of my music though. She even made me make a CD with a bunch of Green Day and Linkin Park songs on it. Sometimes she will just skip the Linkin Park songs and play the Green Day ones because she knows I love Green Day and she likes some of their songs, too. All of them, pretty much. But I had her listen to MCR and she didn't really like them. Dunno why, but whatever.

My parents cant control wut I listen to... atleast they never have xp
I wuz coverin a notebook with Gerard's pics yesterday and my mom wuz like "Ur coverin it with this? I cant believe these bands now a days... They keep trying to make themselves look more and more like skeletons and deadish" and bla bla bla
And my dad (while i wuz listenin to MCR) "Im tellin u, this is exactly the same kind of rock there wuz back in my day..." He always says that, and I never believe him whee xd
none of my parents like my music... but they cant do n e thing about that twisted blaugh whee

I'm not sure how my mom would react. She doesn't really care about Parental Advisory labels but she almost didn't let me but The Used's second CD because it had the word death in the title (it's called In Love and Death for those who don't know). When I bought Three Cheers she kind of raised an eyebrow at the title and asked what it was on the cover. I said, "Zombies in love." She was confused. I'm don't know how she would react because one time I was in Hot Topic looking at A.F.I. stuff with a bunch of other people and the put on Sing the Sorrow. I told her it was A.F.I. and she listened and started dancing around the store at the point when Davey comes in on Miseria Cantare (she's a dance teacher) and said he had a pretty voice. I think she may have changed her mind if she could actually make out the lyrics xd . I just made sure we left before The Leaving Song Pt.II came on.

Well, my parents found some of the lyrics and pics of them I have on my wall, and now they HATE Chem! heheheh xd But they threanted to take the CD's away sad But they didn't!

First of all, my mom(i only live with my mom) would never throw anything of mine away, and second of all, she likes MCR, and actually she thinks Gerard is cute and she likes the way he sings xd She also likes the Used. She's been to two The Used concerts with me, and one MCR, and she is gonna try to get off work to take me to the Warped tour xd

I don't think my mother would throw out my CDs, but I'm pretty sure she'd tell me that I'm listening too music that is too morbid/depressing and that I should stop...
She has a problem with not looking deeply enough into things to see their true meaning.

All you guys with leniant parents, please don't take it for granted! My dad approves of rock music but if he heard MCR he'd probably say "Ok, let's listen to something else." And then pop in Frank Sinatra instead. However, my mom thinks most rock and rock musicians (she saw a pic of Bert McCracken and freaked) are "scary". She still expects me to be her little girl. I can't listen to anything rock when she's around! sad
