Okay peoples, what's the contest about? the contesst could be mabey like a three parter 1) costume contest where every one who partispates gose to www.tektek.org (like ive shown befor) and bulids an avatar on what valintines looks like to them 2) a run around the town coloecting roses of all colors 3)a dance

OK well im new to the guild, but i have a few suggestions on what we could do for a valentines day contest. It would be fun if the contest itself were related directly to the theme behind Valentines Day. I think Safire has a really good idea with the contest having three parts because different people are good at different things so here are my 3 suggestions:
1. Costume Contest- a lot of people have suggested this so i think its a great idea.
2. Poetry Contest- people could write love poems, poems about the holiday, about anything having to do with the basic concept of Valentines Day heart
3. Art Contest- people could draw their interpretations of what represents love or the holiday, or even more fun would be to have the contestants draw their renditions of the iconic Cupid
ok well those are my ideas. hope you like them sweatdrop

Since the contest one is almost a given by everyone, that'll be in. (possibly jack the price up 5k from what I normally give)
@Safire: For your number 2, do you mean as a whole group, or what?
For the 3rd one, where would it be held? And most people don't log on till later at night.
@Astry: I like your ideas too. But you have to also remember, that some can't draw, poetry is easy (all you have to do is write)

I've been in allot of guilds and I think this one is really good..the other thing it might need is what the person said below.
Maybe a few banners and ideas like..well, for example...
1. make new polls or rp's every other week. I'm not much of an RPer, but it's good for people who do.
And really, that's about it.
I own a few guilds and this is just my opinions.
Other then that, this guild is really good.
