Lakeside Memories

Seira watched as he left and wiped her eyes. She knew that she was going to get an earfull from the other elementals, but she couldn't help it. She didn't want that humans to be in that kind of pain, why could he not just choose to forget her? It would be so much easier on the both of them. She should have just erased his memory the moment he came to her.

Damien sat down in his room as his mind kept replaying the events that happened today. His head started to ache as he could almost hear voices. He shook his head as he collasped in his bed, hoping the pain would go away.

Seira held her head as well, "What? Why am I feeling pain? I shouldn't be feeling pain since...It's the boy, it has to be him...but how is he doing this?" her body waved and she materialized in a glass of water he had on his nightstand next to his bed. She looked at him, He is suffering from the pain as well...who could do this? Wait, the other elementals. she clenched her fist, "Damien...I will fix this, for the both of us..." she waved away from the water

Damien looked around as he heard Seira's voice, but he could almost swear that he heard other voices as well. At least three more.  

[Shiva_Goddess]

As soon as Seira returned to her lake she opened three water portals, "You three! It's not enough that you banish me to this degrading lake instead of me being in the oceans, but now you make a human suffer!"

"You the rules Water, if a human finds out who we are..."

"Their memories must be erased or..."

"They must become what you are. You know this and yet you let this one go...may we ask why?"

"He is just a boy, I saved his life before so he owes me. He won't tell anyone. If you must punish someone, punish me, not Damien. Seal me in this lake if you must, but no more harming him. He needs his life, I don't want him to live like I do and he won't take the other option. Just let him go."

Damien could hear all of the voices, Seria's included. All of them were full of anger and fury. He stood, even as his mind was splitting as he yelled, "STOP!"  

[Shiva_Goddess]

"We'll leave him alone, but it will cost you Water."

"As much as we hate to do this, we are left with no choice."

"If we cannot take his memories, we'll be taking yours. All you will know is your job. Nothing more, nothing less."

Seira lowered her head and bit her lip, "Okay..."

Damien could hear all of this as he repeated himself, "STOP!" He waited until the voices stop, "Punish me, I'll take whatever punishment you give me, as long as I keep my memories."  

[Shiva_Goddess]

Seira pinched her eyes closed, "No, I'll do it. Take my memories...just stop his suffering...I beg of you."

"Water is so emotional...Elementals...Power of Fire."

"Power of Earth"

"Power of Wind."

A tear slipped past her eye, "Goodbye...Power of Water," there was a large flash and then the voices disappeared from Damien's mind

Damien found himself yelling, "WAIT! STOP! STOP!" Damien ran outside as he found her lake again, but he wasn't alone. A being made from earth, fire, and wind were standing near the edge of the water.

They all turned to stare at him

"Consider yourself lucky boy."

"If you ever tell anyone about us..."

"Water won't be there to save you, we'll erase you forever..."

And with that, the three of them vanished

Damien stared at them as they disappeared. He walked slowly to the water, feeling like this was a dream.

Seira was at the bottom of the lake unconscious in her water form.

Damien walked into into the water, going deeper into the water. "Seria! Seria! Wake up!"  

[Shiva_Goddess]

Seira moaned a bit opening her eyes. She saw Damien and quickly changed herself to look like a human. She swam to the surface and came out of the water pretending to suck in air
