Galad Damodred Paranormal Zombiiie Priestley rocklee3344 wat the heck that is not a rule you can totally get tatoos if you want to god did you use the oroginal translation for that or one of those that changes the words to "modern" writing. Leviticus 19:28 "'Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD.'" This includes things like scarification, tattooing, cutting, and various other things like it.I think that is pretty obvious. razz Hmm, what about the arguement that we dont have to Follow the "old" rules? Wasn't it Jesus who said that it was easier for heaven and earth to be destroyed than a letter of the Laws to become irrelevant? Yes, we spoke about that in this thread.
It's better that you endeavor to follow Jesus' commandments first before tangling yourself up in the minutia of the Law.

zz1000zz Would it be possible to do something about zach_wheat's posts? They ruin my page display, and they are not really relevant.
They are completely relevant to this post:
zz1000zz The ritual laws of the Old Testament are not applicable anymore, which explains why people are allowed to wear jeans. Also, the Bible saying something is an "abomination" does not mean it is a sin. This has been discussed here before.
Paul uses some parts of the Old Law to demonstrate what Christians are to avoid, homosexual behaviour being the focal point of those posts. It even goes into the Hebrew and Greek texts to show how the New Testemant ties into the Old Testemant on homosexualty, so as to show it is not some error of translation.
It is on topic and completely relevant to the discussion.
