FIrther remained absolutely silent while they put Ihaco and Tessa onto the second horse. He climbed on, and helped Felicia to sit behind him. She spoke in an ancient language, and he knew it to say something along the lines of them taking all four of them to the Elven Kingdom. Both Ihaco, and Tessa were worsening, but Ihaco showed no signs of having the mysterious illness that Tessa had.
Finally they arrived to the main passage way the would lead it's way to Firther and Ihaco's set of rooms they shared. Placing Ihaco on his bed, he sat on the edge helplessly as his friend winced in pain. Felicia laid Tessa down beside Ihaco, and he watched as Ihaco reached slowly for Tessa's hand, but it never made it as far as halfway.
He barely heard Felicia mention needing the ingredients and proper tools until he felt her kiss his cheek, and he muttered for her to be careful. She was off, and he was left alone with the two on the bed.
Ihaco's eyes began to flutter, but never opened because they were swollen shut. "Firther. Are you there?" he said whispering. Firther leaned down close to his friend, and said, "Yes my friend. I am here. What is it?" Firther waited for Ihaco to speak again, but he never did.
"Ihaco. Wake up. What is it you need?" he said beginning to worry that Ihaco was dying. Firther knowing that Ihaco would not answer him, began to chat the prayer of the Elven Gods.
"Praise to the fire Of soothing warmth and burning flame Both respected and feared I beseech you
Veneration to the wind Of gentle breeze and howling gale The life giving breath I beseech you
Reverence to the water Of nourishing deliverance and fathomless depths From faerie spring to mother sea I beseech you
Honor to the earth Of the womb of birth and the cradle of death Giver of sustenance I beseech you
Oh spirits of the great forest Guardians of nature, divinities of the sacred circle Hear my prayers and give him strength"
This he repeated over, and over,and as the last words died finally, Felicia opened the secrete door to Ihaco's room. She laid the things on the desk, and began to prepare the antidote to Tessa's illness. Finally finished, she tipped a little into Tessa's mouth, and waited. She began to work on Ihaco's wounds, and once she was finished, and they noticed a slight difference in the way Ihaco finally slept, Felicia discontinued. Suddenly he began to cough. Unable to suppress the cough, he winced again in agony as the pain continued to reek havoc on his body.
It seemed the Ihaco had caught the mysterious illness. "Felicia, it seem Ihaco is sick now too." She said as she gave Ihaco a bit of the antidote. And so they continued to wait. After hours of sitting, Firther got up, and sighed. "I'm tired of waiting. I can't sit here much longer. I have to go see my parents before they come looking for me." He said kissing her cheek swiftly, and walking out the main door to the room.
He made it to the set of rooms that belonged to his mother and father, and knocked gently on the one he knew them to sleep in. "Mother, Father. Is anyone inside?" he said hearing shuffling from behind the door. It opened wide, and there stood his mother look dressed in a ball gown fit for a goddess. His father stepped out from the large closet, and smiled at Firther.
"Your mother and I are going out of town for a few days. You are in charge of the Kingdom while we're away. Look after things, and don't let the Counsel run all over you. I'm sure you will do a fine job." He said with a smile.
Firther smiled, and bowed. "Thank you father. I will not disappoint you." He said bowing. Stepping backwards, he look his leave with a hope in his heart. He rounded the corner, and ran the last few steps back up to Ihaco's main room. Opening the door, he smiled at Felicia.
"I have wonderful news. My mother and Father are leaving town for a ball, and I've been left in charge of the Kingdom. You and Tessa will be able to hide in the castle with out having to worry." He said holding her tightly. "This was unexpected, but it is good. A stroke of luck in our favor." He said smiling. "Will you be sleeping with me, or would you like your own room?" He said looking into her eyes.

Felicia waited for Firther to return with speaking to his parents. It was a good idea to speak to them but that didn't mean she wasn't still nervous about actually meeting his parents. After all, they were still, technically, enemies. Felicia took Tessa's hand as she feared for her friend's life. The medicine was helping but just barely. Tessa opened her eyes and looked at Felicia.Tears were starting to form. "I'm scared." She whispered.
"I know." Felicia tried to sooth. "But you're going to be just fine. I promise. You can't die. Remember, we're supposed to grow old together. Our children are supposed to grow up with each other." Tessa tried to smile but ended up coughing instead. "Just rest, my friend. You need it."
Eventually Firther returned with the news of his parents. She was a little relieved to find that they would be out of town. Hopefully, by the time of their return, Tessa and Ihaco would be better. "Sleeping with you might be better for my sake." She wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his shoulder. Their arms fit perfectly around each other. They were a perfect match and yet other still thought they weren't meant to be. "I could use the company."
Felicia was guided to Firther's room. It was about the same size as hers but felt a lot nicer with him by her side. She took off her shoes and climbed into bed along side him, wrapping her arms around his waist in the process.
~~~~~ The next morning, Felicia woke up and looked up at Firther's sleeping face. It wasn't a dream after all. But then again, that meant that still meant Tessa and Ihaco were still sick. Felicia kissed his cheek and carefully climbed out of bed before checking up on the two people she still cared about.
~~~~~
Days passed and still nothing. Felicia tried all that she could. Making a new different antidote every few hours. With each one, she would have to sneak out through the back to retrieve more ingredients. At the moment, Felicia stood in front of the bed trying to figure out what antidote would work. If she just made others, it would take weeks just for her to find the right one. Maybe even months. Firther wrapped his arms around her waist and she began to cry. "Firther, I don't know what else to do. I'm going to lose my best friend." She turned around and buried her face in his shoulder.

Firther smiled at Felicia when she agreed to sleep in his bed that night. It was like a dream come true, and it made him happy. He wrapped his arms around her a little tighter, and kissed her cheek. "Come my darling." He said taking her hand, and leading her quickly down the hall to his main bedroom.
Taking off his shoes, and leaving his clothes on, Firther climbed into bed, and waited for Felicia to crawl in bed beside him. Soon she did, and as she wrapped her arms around his waist, and placed his arms around her as well letting his hands rest gently on her arm, and shoulder. "He waited until she was totally asleep before closing his own eyes. Firther knew that he would much rather watch her sleep all night, but he knew that he would need every ounce he could get before tomorrow.
~~~~~~~~~~
That morning Felicia had woke up before him, but subconsiously feeling that he was being watched, Firther woke up with a smile. He opened his eyes just in time to see her exit the door towards Ihaco's room.
~~~~~~~~~~
After several days of waiting for the mysterious illness to pass, Firther sat with Felicia as she continued to make every antidote she could think of. Though none worked perfectly, Ihaco and Tessa did not improve. In fact they seemed to be doing worse this day than all the others.
He heard Felicia sobbing, and kissed her forehead as he wrapped his arms around her. "We'll find away. I won't let you lose Tessa. I don't want to lose my best friend either my love. We'll find away." He said brushing the tears from her eyes. "Don't give up hope yet. You'll think of something that you haven't yet. I know you will." He smiled down at her. "They are lucky to have you taking such good care of them."
Firther gave her a gentle kiss, and then was off to the kitchens to get food brought up to his room. After ordering a large meal, he quickly thanked the staff, and went to the Throne room to await the Counsels arrival. He took his place in his Father's throne, and with in minutes the doors opened, and in came the eleven Elven elders. Gesturing for them to take their seats, Firther cleared his throat. "Shall we begin. The First order of business, please."
~~~~~~~~
After an hour, Firther walked back up to Ihaco's room, and walked in quickly. Smiling at Felicia he crossed the room towards her, and took her hand. "How are they doing?" Felicia explained to them their status, and Firther said into her eyes, "You are making them well. Just the little signs are positive. "You'll figure this out." He said kissing her.
"Now my love, you must take a break. There is something waiting for us in my room." HE said his stomach growling a little. He hadn't eaten in days. Guiding her to the secrete door, Firther led Felicia through the passages to one of the secrete doors that were in his room. "In case you need to escape for any reason, you know the passage ways from my room now." He said opening the door, and looking inside making sure no one was around.
Gently he sat her on the bed. "Wait right here." HE said locking his bedroom door, and walking into a door that was hidden in the wall, but larger than the secrete passage doors. He closed the door, and with in minutes he was opening the door again. He walked up to her, and took Felicia's hand in his. "No peeking." He said putting his hand over her eyes softly.
He led her into the hidden room, and allowed her to open her eyes. "Now you can open them." Firther said with a smile. Inside the room, There was a large table seated for two with a small feast of food just for them. Candles were laid out all over the room, and in mid air, giving it a soft glow, yet bright enough to light the whole room. A warm fire burned in the fire place on the other side of the table. No flowers were present, but the room looked beautiful enough with out them.
"Will you join me for dinner, my Queen?" Firther asked kissing her hand with a smile.
~~~~~~~~
Later that night as he and Felicia laid in bed, Firther became restless. Not wanting to wake her, he gently slid out from under her, and dressed quickly. He decided that a walk would calm him, and sooth his inner mind. He made his way out of the room, and down the three flights of stairs that led to the main door. Opening it, he waved at the wall guards, and mentioned his walk. "I won't be long gentlemen. Should something happen just come and get me." He said with a smile.
The doors to the kingdom opened, and he walked out, and down the path towards the next town. He began to wonder soon what his parents were doing, and if leaving town to go to all sort of events was worth being royalty. After an hour of walking, he began to feel his heart pound in his chest. Firther realized he was terribly out of breath, and his head was in pain. He shook his head, but it only made him dizzy.
He turned around, and headed back towards the Kingdom, but soon found that he could no longer go on. Feeling himself gasp for breath, he collapsed on the cold earth.
~~~~~~~
The next morning, hours after Firther had left the castle to take his walk, a carriage rolled up the road towards Firther's unconscious body. The coachman stopped the horses, and shouted for the baggage man to help him. "It's Prince Firther." They whispered. The King, annoyed by the stop opened the door, and began to look for the reason of the halt. "What's going on up there! I demand to know why we've stopped!"
The coach man leaned down to the ground, and picked up Firther's limp form. "It's your son, Prince Firther. He looks to be sick, and has been out here for hours." He informed the King. The Queen, hearing this, screamed in horror. "My son. My beautiful baby. What's happened to him?" she said trying to escape the carriage to get to her son. "Get him to the Kingdom straight away. Take the spare horse, and get him to the Kindom!" he said pointing at the baggage man. Doing as he was told, they placed Firther on the spare horse, and the baggage man climbed up afterward.
~~~~~~~~
Once they arrived at thte Kingdom, the baggage man hwas helped by the gaurds to put Firther in his room. But upon opening the door to his main room they got quite a shock. A woman was in Firther's bed, and not just any woman. She was a werewolf. One of the guards grabbed Felicia by her hair as she slept, and pulled her from the bed. "Someone take this filth to the prison!" he said violently. As they placed Firther on the bed his eyes came open. "Leave her!" HE commanded. "This lady is not to be harmed." He said weakly. When the gaurd showed no sign of releasing Felicia he shouted. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? LEAVE HER ALONE OR I WILL HAVE YOU PUT IN PRISON! ALL OF YOU GO!"
The guard threw Felicia down ruthlessly on the floor, and the men all exited the room. "Felicia. I'm sorry my love. I too am sick now." He said his breathing becoming labored. "Are you alright...my..love?"

Silently, Felicia slept in Fither's bed. She was so exhausted from making all the antidote's that it wore her out. All she wanted was a good night's rest beside Firither. Unfortunately for her, that wasn't what she got. Felicia was thrown from the bed by her hair. She was tempted to start scratching at the guard but she refrained herself. As he was ordered to let her go, Felicia was thrown back down to the ground. Quickly, she got up and went to his side. "Don't worry about me. I have to make you better." She kissed his head and felt the hot temperature. No doubt he had been infected with the same thing Ihaco and Tessa had. By why not her. Felicia had to know everything Tessa did.
"I'll be right back my love." Felicia crept through the passage way and walked back into Ihaco's room. Tessa tried to sit up but Felicia forced her back down. "No my friend. You need rest." Tessa sighed and tears began to fall from her face. "Tessa, my friend, I need to know. Firther is also sick with whatever you two have. And for some reason, I am not sick. I need you to tell me everything." Tessa took in a deep breath and tried to remember all that had happened. At one point, Felicia begged her not to go into too many details.
"And then he was at my window." Tessa continued, thinking there was nothing else to speak of.
"But why? Besides wanting to be with you. Did he give you anything?" Felicia asked desperately.
"Yes!" Tessa gasped but suddenly began coughing. Felicia helped her to sip some water before Tessa could continue. "Yes, he gave me a white flower found by the willow tree. I've never seen anything like it. It had a purple dot in the center." Felicia was relieved. Of course! It all made sense! It was the reason why she wasn't sick at all. The flower contained a virus that could only be cured with one antidote.
"Tessa I do believe I know what can cure you all. But first I must tell Firther." She was about to run back through the passageway but stopped. The scent of his parents was close. Her ears twitched at the sound of two guards outside. Both talked of Felicia being in the room. Thankfully, the king brushed it off by laughing and the two entered the room.
Felicia slowly walked through the passageway to Firther's room but did not enter it. Instead, she stopped at the small door and listened in. She could tell they were both worried for her son. The door opened and closed but she knew, by the scent, that the Queen was still in their. It was now or never. Firther's life was more important than her own. The antidote had to be made in order to save all three of them. Felicia took in a deep a breath and opened the door, revealing her true self.
The Queen turned and nearly screamed but Felicia put her hands up. "Please! You're majesty I mean neither of you any harm. Firther, especially. Just listen. I beg of you." Felicia walked slowly to the bed and watched as the Queen began to back up. "Firther, Ihaco and my best friend Tessa have all been infected with a horrible disease only found on a certain flower. That flower was given to Tessa from Ihaco. As a result of exposure, Firther became sick as well." Felicia sat on the bed and gently took his hand.
"I know the antidote to make." She smiled at Firther. "You will be better soon, I promise." Felicia kissed his head and turned back to the Queen. "I am not sick because I am immune to poisonous flowers and plants. Controlling them is my gift. And as such, I have learned to make antidotes for all poisons. But I need your help, your majesty." Felicia got up and began to walk toward the Queen who, in return, backed up until she couldn't anymore.
"There is one ingredient that I need and it's only grown here. Back home, we would have had it imported but that could take days. And, knowing this disease, we don't have that much time. If the three of them do not receive the antidote, Ihaco and Tessa will die in two weeks. Firther, a few days after that." The Queen still did not look pleased but Felicia knew she had her attention.
"I know I am just a werewolf to you but I don't care. I love Firther and I don't lose any of them. If you won't do it to help me, at least do it for your son. Please." Tears began to fall down her cheeks as the Queen remained silent. "I'll do anything."

The King left, leaving Queen Tyeva to tend to her son. Firther lay there, his breathing shallow and quick. He could not catch his breath in his sleep. As the Queen went to stand she heard Firther's secrete door open only to reveal a young werewolf girl. It took everything she had not to scream, so instead simply stared in pretend fear. The Queen did not know this girl, but she did not need to know the vermin that stood before her. She remained quite, and then the girl spoke.
"Please! You're majesty I mean neither of you any harm. Firther, especially. Just listen. I beg of you." Felicia walked slowly to the bed, and Tyeva watched as the girl put her hands up peacfully. The girl continued. "Firther, Ihaco and my best friend Tessa have all been infected with a horrible disease only found on a certain flower. That flower was given to Tessa from Ihaco. As a result of exposure, Firther became sick as well." Felicia sat on the bed and gently took his hand.
The girl spoke of the disease as if she herself had once before treated it, but Queen Tyeva was nearly skeptical, but she knew that she would give her life to the God of Death in order to save her son.
"I know of the ingredient of which you speak. It can only be found on nights of the total darkness in the Lake of Tranquility. It is not far from here, but first, we must come to our terms." She said taking several steps towards Firther's opposite side so that she could look out the window.
"Firstly, you will do all that I command. If I tell you to kiss my big toe then you had better. NOt that I want your vermin bacteria all over my foot, but I will do anything myself to save my son. Secondly, You must never enter this kingdom once my son, and my adopted son are well. I will allow you to stay until they are better, or you will show me what I must do to save them, and I will make sure you have enough of the plant to save your friend. I am being generous, wolf." She turned around, and stared into Felicia's eyes. "And the last thing, and the most important. You must never see, or talk to, my son again." She saw Felicia's eyes grow wide.
"Yes, I know who you are, and I know what you mean to him, but I will NOT have my son ruining the kingdom he is to rule one day before he even takes his own throne!" she said her words like venom. "Do we have a deal?"

Felicia's heart was breaking. In order to save the one she loved, she would have to stop seeing Firther. The one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. A tear fell from her face but her expression was very serious. She knew what she had to do. "Yes," She said in a strong voice. "We have a deal." The Queen took her outside. All the while the past through the halls of the castle a few servants stopped and stared. Felicia didn't bare to look at them. They all reminded her of Firther. Finally, the reached the lake and Felicia was given the antidote.
Back in the castle, the Queen watched her carefully. Making sure that everyone, especially her sons, received the antidote. Felicia worked speedily. Almost through the night just to make it perfect. But finally, she stopped. Something was missing. One ingredient. She couldn't remember the most important ingredient. Felicia turned to the Queen, afraid of her answer. "There is one ingredient missing. The problem is I don't know what it is. And the one other person who would know is in your jail cell." Felicia took a deep breath before continuing. "I need to see my brother."
The Queen hesitated but finally allowed the quick visitation. Felicia was finally able to see her brother. At first, she was calm as they walked her down to the dungeons but when she saw her brother she ran to him and reached for him through the bars. "Diego!" She shouted as tears ran down her cheeks. A few of the werewolves whispered her name, glad to see her but wondering why she was in the dungeons. Felicia, however, only had attention on her brother for the moment. His look had changed in the past few months that he had been away from their family. But she knew it was him. Diego pulled his arms through the bars, as she had, and touched every inch of her face.
"It's alright." Diego soothed as Felicia continued to cry. "It's going to be alright. You haven't changed a bit, little Luna." The nickname brought back from memories from when she was a little girl.
Felicia and Diego were playing at night underneath a full moon. Naturally, they were full of energy. They tried to play as much as they could because Diego would be going on trip with their father. Both would be gone for a few weeks But, at one point, Diego stopped and pointed at a flower that glowed in the moonlight. "Look, Felicia." He gestured. The little girl stopped running and sat next to him as he began to tell her about the flower. "This is called a Luna flower. It only grows in the moonlight by feeding off the moon's light. The moon," he pointed up so she would look up at it, "loves to see this flower shining every night it is full. That's why the moon is full and gives us energy. It's happy which makes us happy." Felicia touched the flower and looked back up at the moon.
Diego smiled and turned her chin so that he could look at her. "You're my Luna flower." He told her. "I love to see your smile shine as you walk through a door. You'll always be my little Luna." He kissed the top of her head and the two continued to play.
Even as he called her 'little Luna' now, the tears kept falling. "Don't cry little one." He comforted.
"But I can't help it." Felicia told him. "I'm just glad you're alright." Diego smiled warmly and continued to wipe the tears from her cheeks, wishing she wouldn't cry. A voice cleared behind her, as she was reminded why she was down there in the first place. "I need your help. Tessa and two elves of this kingdom were poisoned by the Aphrodite flower. I offered to make the antidote but I can't remember one ingredient. All I can remember is tree sap, a petal from the Aphrodite flower, honey, a black rose, fish oil, a Bezor and I can't remember the last ingredient." Diego fully well knew the answer because he taught her how to make the antidote but there was something on his mind.
"Why, dear sister, do you want to help the Elves? Tessa I understand since she is practically family but why them?" Felicia didn't answer for a moment. She knew the news would upset him because he wouldn't understand. "It's that elf? Isn't it? The one who did the trade with Samuel." Felicia shushed him because she didn't know if his parents were aware of the trade they had made.
"Yes, ok? He's one of them. The other one is called Ihaco and he's in love with Tessa." Diego growled as Tessa was like another sister to him. "Diego, stop it. I love Firther. That's his name, the Elvin prince. He has asked me to marry him and I have accepted." Diego released his hold on his sister and backed away. Quietly, he began to pace back and forth, furious that she would ever fall in love with an Elf. This only killed Felicia even more that what she was prepared for. "Diego, please. Think of Lucia. You would do anything to help her."
"But this lover of yours is an elf?!" Diego spat at her. Felicia waited for him to calm down before he continued.
"That maybe true, Diego, but I love him just as you love Lucia. These people may be elves but they are people. They have families and right now loved ones from both sides are dying. They need us, Diego. If not for Firther, then do it for Tessa and do it for me." Diego stopped pacing and looked at his sister. "For if he dies, I'll never forgive you and I'll end my own life. Not only will I lose my best friend but I would have lost the only man I ever loved." Diego walked back up to the bars and caressed her cheeks.
"You've really got it bad little one." He smiled and moved some hair out of her face. "Think again of the ingredients and remember our flower." That was it. The Luna flower was the last ingredient she needed.
"Thank you, Diego." She smiled and held on tightly to his hand. "I'll get you out of here. I promise." She whispered and ran back upstairs and outside. The moon was bright and full. The Luna flowers were perfectly in bloom. She picked a few and ran back into the castle. This was all she needed. She crushed the flowers and placed them with the rest of the ingredients. First, she gave some to Ihaco but stopped at Tessa. Felicia had to be sure of one thing.
Cafefully, Felicia took a needle, a leaf and some tree sap and took some of Tessa's blood. After it had been mixed in with the tree sap, it changed a color that was unusual but could still be read. Felicia smiled and made a different antidote so as not to hurt the new ones coming soon. She believed that it was best not to tell anyone yet.
Felicia saved Firther for last. Carefully, she took his head and poured the antidote down his throat. Soon they would be better. But soon her and Tessa would have to leave and see Firther for the last time. A wolf always kept their word no matter who it was with. Felicia sat on the chair next to the bed and watched Firther sleeping peacefully. His breathing had gotten better and she knew his fever was breaking. They were going to live. If only Felicia could live with him always.

"The we have an accord, and I will take you to the place where you find the ingredient you require." Queen Tyeva said acidicly with a smile on her face. Her eyes pierced Felicia's with a satisfaction of loathing." She led her through the castle, and towards the stables, where she wasted no time in gettig on her horse. They were off, and soon they reached the lake.
Sliding off her horse, Queen Tyeva raised her hood, looking more like a priestess than a Queen, and slowly made her way to the edge of the lake where she folded her hands in prayer. Looking up into the sky, she began to chant in the language of the Gods.
"We come here only to serve, and sing to thee...
Natara ekon t'masu (Natara, God of water) Katau let'theiri-tor in'sna khaf-spol (Bring peace to beating hearts) Spunau bolayalar t'Wehku bolayalar t'Zamu il t'Veh (The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few, or the one) paluntunau sa-fu, Firther (Watch over my son, Firther ) Vahl-tor etek tu fai-tukh(Grant to us your knowledge) T'mahalan wef (Of swimming scales) T'aluk ish-hakau (Of fish that heal) Vahl-tor etek guv t'masu ri-fainu (Grant to us the gem of water unknown) Na'kano du dvinsu (Forever your servant) Krol-tor nam-tor (Praise be) "
She chanted this many times, and with every word she uttered a fish would light up under the water as if showing the way through the wet life forms to the one they needed most. And soon, and blue light, different from the others, made its way towards the surface. bobbing its head above the surface, it made its way towards the shore, and umped on to the hard ground laying there to die so that its body could be used for the greater good. An offering, and a reward from the god of water.
She continued to chant as the fish slowly suffocated, and died, its life light, blue in the moonless night, rose from its form, and floated back into the water where it disappeared in to the murky depths.
Queen Tyeva broke the chant, and looked down at the fish. "Here is the fish oil you will need to cure my boys. Go now, and use the secrete passageways to find our way to my son's room. I will be there once I have finished praying to Valdena, The Maiden of Joy. Go, or I will have you thrown in prison, and I will heal my son's on my own." Tyeva said looking into the sky once more to pray.
~~~~Time Warp~~~~
Queen Tyeva watched Felicia carefully. If there was any detection of foul play, she would make quick to squash it.With the mentioning of a missing ingredient, Felicia asked permission to speak with her brother in the prison. Granting this permission, the Queen took Felicia to the prison, and waited for her to return at the door.
Once Felicia was finished, she'd made her way out to find the last part of the antidote, the Luna Flower. Once the antidote was made, Queen Tyeva watched as Felicia gave both Firther, and Ihaco the syrum. Soon, their breathing became regular, and their fevers began to break. Queen Teva spoke up then. "It seems as if they will be better in the next day or so. You will leave tomorrow night. I will let you visit him one last time, but it will be as he sleeps. Remember our accord." She said opening the door, and leaving silently.
Felicia nodded as she left. She had to keep her word. It was their deal. Firther's life for a life without him. When she was gone and Felicia was all alone, quietly she wept. Why couldn't see be happy? She knew Firther was too good to be true but why this? Why couldn't their kingdoms get along and allow for her to be happy with him? Then again, her mother and father would do the same thing to Firther if they ever found out. Carefully, she climbed into bed with Firther. She rested her head on his chest and listened to his heart beat. Felicia would remember everything about him forever more. His heart beating, his smell, his face. Slowly, Felicia drifted off to sleep. Never wanting to wake up from her dream.
~~~~~
The next day, Felicia would walk back and forth between rooms. Most of the time she stayed in Firther's room. Not wanting to leave his side again. Strangely enough, servants walked in and brought her food from the Queen. Of course, it wasn't a fancy full meal but it was better than nothing and it was the thought that counted. Even if the food was still not that great.
At around noon, Firther opened his eyes and smiled when he saw Felicia. His beautiful smile that she would never forget. Felicia crawled into bed and curled up next to him. "I was so worried about you." She said in almost a whisper. "But I'm glad you're better now." Felicia paused as she recalled the thought of his mother. Clearly, if she were to walk in, she wouldn't like the sight of what lied in front of her.
"I met your mother." Felicia finally stated. "Lovely woman. I especially love how the snakes come out of her head when she looks at me." She said sarcastically. Firther laughed and Felicia felt as if she were going to cry. When the night would arrive, Felicia and Tessa would leave and Felicia would no longer hear his laugh. Felicia hugged him tighter, not wanting to let go.
~~~~~
The night finally arrived and Firther was getting very tired again. Felicia caressed his cheeks and kissed him all the passion she could muster. She had never kissed him like this before because she knew it would be her last one from her. Finally, the pulled apart and Firther smiled at her, eventually falling asleep. Carefully, she climbed out of the bed and walked to Ihaco's room where Tessa was sleeping with the man that she loved. "Tessa," Felicia whispered in the night so as not to wake Ihaco. "We must leave. It's rather important." Tessa nodded and kissed Ihaco on the cheek. Her lover awoke and began kissing her more.
"Ihaco, please. We must leave. It's an emergency." They broke apart and Tessa climbed out of bed. Compared to what Ihaco had looked like when they brought him back, he had gotten better.
"I want to thank you, Felicia. You've saved us all." Tessa said as they walked back with to their castle. At first, Felicia didn't say anything. She felt numb because she could no longer see the love her life. She could no longer marry the one man she wanted to. It was all over for her. "Felicia," Tessa said as she stopped her friend from walking. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"
"No," Felicia lied. "I'm fine. I'm just happy that you all are fine." Felicia touched Tessa's stomach as if to hint at something. "And I do mean all." Tessa's eyes went wide as she touched her own stomach. Now they both knew.
"You mean?" Felicia nodded at Tessa's question. "Really? Well what is it? A boy? A girl?"
"It's both." Tessa looked at her friend in shock. "You and Ihaco will soon be parents of two beautiful twins. A boy and a girl." Tessa hugged Felicia in excitement and soon they continued to walk back home. All the while, Tessa knew that something was wrong with Felicia but she decided not to push. When they finally got home, they were greeted by Felicia's parents.
"Where have you been?" The Queen gasped and embraced her daughter. Her arms around Felicia were too much. The tears began to fall and Felicia began to sob. "My darling what happened? Did someone hurt you? Was it the man you fell in love with?" Felicia moved in her head in the direction of her answer. Nodding for yes and shaking her head for no. Tessa wanted to stay but she had to see her own mother to let her know that she was alright. Felicia's father was becoming furious. He hated to see his daughter upset, especially if it was because of some boy she had fallen in love with. The ground began to shook and the Queen gently touched his arm to calm him down. "Oh my darling. It's alright. Your mother is here. Tell me what happened."
"I can't!" Felicia sobbed. "I want to but I can't. It would only make matters worse but it doesn't matter anymore." She pulled away from her mother and wiped her tears. "I'm very tired. I think I'll just go to bed." That night Felicia cried until she could no longer cry and fell asleep. Her dreams were filled with nothing but Firther, all the more make her longing for him grow more and more.
In the time that followed, the Queen treated Felicia a little bitter than a servant. Her meal was better at any rate. Knowing that her son was in love with the girl made her heart at least feel for her in a way that she could relate to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the first time in days, Firther opened his eyes to his beautiful Felicia. "My love..." He said smiling at her as she curled up next to him in the bed. A bed that they'd one day share as Kind and Queen. "I know you were my darling, but thanks to you I'm going to be just fine." She mentioned meeting his mother. ""So she knows now...I'm sorry if she treated you like an animal. She can be a bit arrogant sometimes." He said taking her hand.
Ihaco woke to lips on his own. It was Tessa. "My wolf goddess." HE said lovingly, but Tessa was soon kissing him good bye saying they had to leave. An emergency? "But Tessa I-..." But she was already gone with Felicia. He lay awake for hours worried that something was about to happen to her. "Tessa...why?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later that night, they lay in the bed still, having spoke about Ihaco and Tessa. Knowing that they would make a full recovery as well, Firther could rest easy. Soon, though, it was time for bed, and he readily closed his eyes thankful for his beautiful angel. "Good night my love." He whispered to her not knowing that in the morning, her would not wake to see her loving face, or kiss her gentle lips again.
The Queen waited near a tree close to the passage the girls came out of. She watched with a smile as the Felicia walked away defeated, yet she could feel a bit of sympathy, and a feeling of guilt settled in. The Queen hadn't always loved Firther's father.

The next few days were the worst Felicia ever had to go threw. At least three times a day, she would get letters from Firther. The first one was like his previous ones. Telling her of his love for her. Wanting to meet her. But each letter she didn't respond to, his other became more worried. As if they weren't getting to her.
Felicia sat on her bed and stared at Hayden. He knew he was to send a reply but Felicia wasn't going to give him one. She had made a promise to the Queen and she wasn't about to break it. Even if she wanted to. Tessa walked in just as another bird flew it with a letter. She gave the bird a treat and told it to go away. Felicia didn't touch the letter. Each one she got made her ache for him more.
"Felicia? What's wrong?" Tessa asked as she sat in front of her best friend. "You haven't left this room since we got back. What is bothering you? You haven't even replied to any of Firther's letter. Ihaco says Firther's getting worried about you. Pacing in his room, he says and barely eating anything." Felicia couldn't hear any more. She buried her head in her pillow and started crying. "Felicia, did he do something to you?" Felicia sat back up and wiped her newly fresh tears.
"No," She choked. "He did nothing. He would never do anything to hurt me but his mother would!" She cried and hugged her knees. Just thinking about not being able to see Firther was killing her.
"What are you talking about?" Tessa asked. "What did she do?" Tessa wiped the tears from Felicia's face. Felicia told her everything. From seeing her brother to making the potion to making the deal. The deal that she could hardly live with.
"Now, not only will I never see my brother again but I will never be able to be with Firther." She choked, trying hard not to cry. "And I can't even tell him." Tessa stayed with her until her friend fell asleep. But this wasn't going to happen. Tonight was the night that Tessa was going to see Ihaco again. She hadn't told him about the babies but she was going to tonight as well as tell him about Felicia. Just the thought of the Queen making Felicia make the deal made Tessa want to tear the woman apart.
Tessa crept out of the castle without being caught. Quickly, she ran as a wolf to the spot before changing back. Ihaco was waiting for her. Usually, she would have jumped on him but not tonight. Tessa was afraid it would hurt the babies. "Darling. I know why Felicia hasn't written Firther. She was forced to make a deal with his mother. She is never allowed to speak to, see or make any sort of contact with him again. I fear for her, Ihaco. She looks horrible. She, like Firther, has barely eaten anything. She's gotten thin and I fear for her life." The word made her smile which confused Ihaco.
"Excuse me my darling but I do have something to be joyous about. Well, actually both of us do." She bit her lip, too excited to tell him but she had to. she wanted to and wanted nothing more than to bare his children. "I am going to have your children. When I was sick, before Felicia gave me the potion, she did a test on me. But we're not having just one child. We're having two. Twins. A boy and a girl." She kissed him excitedly and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You, my darling, are going to be a father."

Ihaco walked slowly into the woods. He hadn't seen her in days. His beautiful wolf goddess. His Tessa. She was there waiting for him, under the very tree they had first made love under. Immediately, she told him of the deal Felicia had made with the Elven Queen in order to save Firther's life.
"I must tell Firther, and in the morning I will. He is torn apart over her. He writes her everyday, and with each unreturned letter, he weeps for her. I have heard him in my suite of rooms. He doesn't eat, he doesn't sleep, and he spends all his time in the woods now that his heath is back."
Soon, Tessa changed the subject to them. "Joyous? What in this world can make me smile when my best friend, my brother, is hearbroken as he is?" And then she said it. Twins? "Tessa, my love, are you certain? We're going to have twins?" He hugged her tightly, and then bent down to his knees.
"Hello my children. My wonderful miracles." He said as he lifted her garments to kiss her stomach tenderly. "Tessa, I love you with my soul. If you ever need, I will provide. If you hurt, I will heal you. I will love you and our children for the rest of my life." He said with happy tears in his eyes. He was going to be a father.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the days that followed, Firther wrote Felicia everyday, continuously, hoping that she would return his letters. For a few days, he thought that they must not be getting to Felicia, but his trusted bird never returned even his own letters. When no letters came after one week, Firther assumed that his own mother had driven his love away. Outraged, Firther confronted his mother, the queen, in the court yard gardens. She stood there near a small grove of trees, and as he walked up to her, she turned and smiled.
"My son," She said happily with a bright smile, "It is so good to see you out of your bed, and well. How are you feeling today. I'll have the maidens pour you a hot bath with in the hour." She started to say, but Firther cut her off. "Mother, what happened to Princess Felicia? Why will she not return any of my letters? What have you done?" He said angrily. "I demand to know what has happened to the love of my life!" It took everything in his power not to shake his own mother violently.
The Queen stared at her son wide eyed. "You love that beast?!" She exclaimed, her own anger rising as well. "I got rid of her. She saved her life, and in return she is to never speak to you again! Do you hear me Firther? You will not triffle with an animal!"
Frantic, Firther took off into the woods towards the kingdom that would one day be his own. Where he and Felicia would rule together as King and Queen. "I swear Felicia, I swear I will get you back!" He said staring at the waterfall that flowed beside his unfinished castle.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An hour later, Firther walked silently into the dungeons. He was looking for Felicia's brother. As he walked up to his cell, Firther stared at him, a sadness in his eyes. "I want her back." He said to her brother. "Felicia...my mother banned her from speaking to or seeing me. How can I get her back?" He pleaded with his very soul.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ihaco, finally well though having met Tessa the night before, walked into his Firther's room. Though Ihaco had made a full recovery, he still had scars as a memory of his love for Tessa, his wolf goddess. He had met with her only the night before, and knew the secrete of why Felicia never wrote Firhter back. He planned to tell him, but Firther was no where to be found.
Tessa returned to Felicia's room ecstatic that Ihaco took the news so well. The imprint of his lips still remained on her stomach. Tessa walked into Felicia's room to comfort her friend. It was all she could really do for the time being.
Felicia sat in front of her fireplace. The flames flickered their warmth and surrounded her body. However, Felicia felt nothing. She was too numb to comprehend any smell, taste or touch. Tessa sat next to her friend and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Felicia looked up at Tessa and tried to smile but it wasn't much.
"How is Ihaco?" Felicia asked. "Did you tell him the news?"
"Yes," Tessa answered. "And he is as happy as I am that he is now a father. He is well but he worries for-" Tessa stopped not sure how to continue. She feared that if she said Firther's name Felicia would cry again.
Suddenly, a tapping from the window interrupted them. Felicia got up and recognized Firther's bird. She opened the window and gathered the bird on her arm.
"Hello friend." She tried to smile. The bird clutched a note in his beak and offered it to the princess but Felicia didn't want to read it. It hurt too much. The bird nudged it's head toward Felicia, gesturing for her to take the letter. She did but put it down.
"I can't. I made a promise and wolves and true to their word." Felicia stroked the bird for awhile. She felt a little connection towards Firther each time his bird was with her. It was the next best thing but it wasn't much. Felicia kissed the bird and sent him back out the window. This time, the bird didn't argue.
Tessa got up from where she had been sitting and walked to Felicia. "Felicia, I have been your best friend since we were no smaller than pups. I have never seen you like this."
"I've never felt like this." Felicia said in almost a whisper.
"I can talk to Ihaco and we will sort this out." Tessa said determined but Felicia knew better.
"No, I made a promise to his mother and I plan to keep it." Felicia sat back down in front of the fire and hugged her legs. "Even if it kills me."
~~~~~~~
Diego sat quietly in his corner of his cell. He knew he missed his family and his home but he missed them even more once seeing his sister. It had been months since he had seen any of them but once he saw his sister, his heart ached more for them.
"Your highness," One of his men said to get his attention, "the Elven prince comes." Diego held down a growl. He hated the Elven prince. He had deceived his sister into thinking that he loved her and he hadn't kept his promise. For all they knew, the Elven prince killed Samuel. Just the thought made him hate the prince even more. The Elven prince had killed Diego's kin and he would surely die for it.
The Elven prince walked down the stairs and straight towards Diego's cell, asking to get his sister back. "What makes you think I would help a filth like you? I hate to say it but I agree with your mother. I don't want you to see Felicia. Ever." Diego rose from his spot and walked up to the prince, ready to kill at a moment's notice.
"Why should I help you? You haven't helped us. You lied to all of us like you lied to my sister. You killed Samuel didn't you?!" The name rang through the ears of all the other wolves. They knew none of them had heard any word of Samuel getting out.
"You promised to help us escape and yet here we remain behind these old bars." Diego moved closer to the bars to get as close as he could to Firther. "If it weren't for these bars, I'd kill you. As I do recall, we made a deal that if we weren't out the day after Samuel was released you would come down here and I would tare you apart. Have you come to fulfill that deal? Cause I assure you that I will have great pleasure pulling you apart; limb from limb."

Ihaco was curious as to where Firther might be, so he left the prince's suite of rooms, and made his way to the Grand Hall. "If Firther's not eating like a horse right now, I don't know where the hell he could be." he said with a chuckle. When he arrived, Firther was not there. "Bloody hell, Firther. I'd forgotten he was always good at hide and seek." Ihaco made his way down to the dungeons to chat with the guards, but little did he know that Firther was already there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Firther looked into her brother's eyes. "I'd rather be torn to shreds than live another day with out her. Do you understand!? This is torture!" He said beating the bars as if it were he imprisoned inside them instead of Diego. "As for Samuel, he is alive, and well. I believe his sister, Tessa, took him to their mother. If we had not gotten sick, everyone would have been freed. Felicia saved our lives. Tessa's, Ihaco's...and my own..."
He trailed off, he was seconds from opening Diego's cell, and locking himself inside with the raging anger inside that was Felicia's brother. He just couldn't go on with out her, his beautiful Felicia. She was his very world, but it seemed that no one else could see that.
Placing his hands on the lock, he slid in the only key he needed to the kingdom, and turned the lock. "You can kill me now...I have no reason to live, and every reason to die. A deal is a deal, Diego." But just as he was about to open the door, he heard a familiar voice shout.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Ihaco slipped through the passage ways to the dungeons, and slid out beside Jereth, his uncle, and by far favorite person other than Firther. "Well how goes the shift?" he asked clapping his uncle on the back happily. He held back his exciting news, though he did not want to. If everyone knew that Tessa was pregnant then they'd both be slaughtered.
After speaking a few moments, he heard a familiar voice. It was Firther's. "s**t why didn't you tell me he was here uncle. I've been looking for him all day!" he said waving, and making his way into the cell chambers. Turning the corner he saw something that frightened him. Firther was about to walk into one of the prison cells, and inside...was Felicia's brother.
"Firther! What are you doing!?" He said advancing on them so fast he blocked Firther's way. Firther stood there shocked. "No Ihaco. I can't go another day with out her, and I owe him my life. We promised to release the lot of them after Samuel's successful return to the Wolf Kingdom, and it's been weeks since then. A deal is a deal, and what better way to leave this world than by the hands of her brother?" Firther, it seemed, had lost his mind.
"Firther," Ihaco said, "This is suicide. And you," he said looking into Diego's eyes, "Don't you want your sister to be happy, and while I'm here Firther I'm going to be a father. Tessa is pregnant with my children."
Firther, and Diego, stopped to stare at the Dark Elf. "Tessa? And you? That's wonderful for you then." Firther said with only a half smile. Sliding the key into the lock once more, he closed the cell, and looked at Diego. "I'm not going to have you attack him, and then leave Tessa and their children out to dry." He said when Diego gave Ihaco a look that could kill.

Hayden flew from her perch and landed next to Felicia. The bird chirped and ruffled her feathers. "She needs to go out." Tessa told her friend. "As do you." Felicia smiled a little and nodded. It was true. Felicia hadn't left her room once and Hayden never left her side.
"You're right." Felicia smiled and the three of them headed outside. The bright sun blinded Felicia. It had been too long since she had been out in the open but the fresh air felt good. A soft breeze greeted her. Felicia lifted up her arm and Hayden took off into the sky.
"Fly with her." Tessa smiled, knowing fully well that Felicia had missed running. Felicia smiled and began to run. Moments later her body gave into her true form. Felicia ran and ran as she caught up with Hayden. The bird flew faster and faster as she spread her wings. Felicia could breath again but she was still missing something.
Firther.
Felicia run until she had reached The White Willow and Black Oak tree; the exact spot where she met Firther for the first time. Hayden landed on a branch and watched Felicia. The wolf returned to her regular form and looked around the tree. She was hoping Firther was in one of them but he wasn't there.
~~~~~~~~~
Diego didn't believe the Elf's words one bit. How could he believe that Samuel was alive and that Tessa even saw her brother? All Diego had was the word of an Elf and that wasn't much.
The Wolf Prince blinked as Firther began to unlock the door but he didn't trust the Elf. He had to be planning something. Diego's ears twitched as he heard another elf but this one was carrying a different sent. "Tessa," he said underneath his breath. The other elf joined Firther. Tessa's sent was all over Ihaco. Right as Fither locked the door again, Diego lunged and tried to claw at Ihaco.
"You slime! How dare you touch Tessa with your filth!" Diego turned toward Firther, still wanting to kill both of them. "I still don't believe you. For all I know, you're telling lies. Elves don't feel anything! They don't have a heart!"
"That's not true." A small voice said. All three boys stopped and looked at the little elf girl.
"And who are you?" Diego asked. The little elf girl stepped closer to the bars. She stood and waited until he came down to her level. Diego could feel all of his kin watching him, to see what he would do. Diego sighed and knelt down to her level.
"I am Tira. What's your name?" Tira asked. At first, Diego said nothing. He was too shocked to speak.
"I am Diego, son of King Miquel of the Werewolf clan." Tira's smile got bigger as she knew she was beginning to make a new friend.
"Is Felicia your sister?" Diego nodded. "She's very nice and pretty. Firther loves her. He told me that."
"You met Felicia?" Diego asked Tira. The little girl smiled and nodded.
"She fed me before bringing me back to Firther. That's where I met Samuel. He's my friend." Diego stood up and looked at Firther and Ihaco. He took in a deep breath because this was one of the hardest things to do for him.
"Fine, I will not kill either of you and I will help you get Felicia back." Firther asked how again and Diego smiled at him for the first time. "Free us, for one, and find her. If I know my sister, you have not lost her. Your mother banned her from speaking to you. Werewolves always keep their promise but if you find her and tell her how wrong your mother was then she will be yours again."
Firther looked into Diego's eyes, a look of sullen joy as Tira's innocence worked its magic to convince Felicia's brother. Ihaco looked down at the little girl, so fearless in the face of a werewolf prince. Finally, a deal had been struck, and Firther bent down to pick up his cousin.
"Tira is my cousin. Her parents are no longer with us." He said as he looked around the dungeon. "Their fate was what all of you sit here and wait for, but mark my words, all of you hear me out, you will be free! Not another of your kind will be killed in this kingdom. I swear it."
Ihaco stepped up beside Firther. "I don't quite understand, my friend. With out a probable plan, we can not free them all at one time. This will have to be under the cover of darkness, and through a very large, elaborate tunnel system, that can be dug out quite easily, it's just about timing." Ihaco took a knee at the door of Diego's cell.
"Your Highness," he said being respectful, and showing no ill will, "We would need your help, and several of your best men here." He began to draw in the dirt the tunnel system that he had envisioned. "The tunnel will start in your cell, as it's the farthest away from my uncle. It's going to come out in the woods, near the great White Willow Tree. It's branches will give us extra cover, and a spot to rest before we move on to your kingdom."
Firther looked at the plan laid out in the dirt. Silently, he came to the conclusion that Ihaco would be his right hand man, his strategist. The way he saw it, Firther was far better than him in battle, and he would make a perfect captain for his army.
Tira brought him from his silent thoughts. "Firther, I'm hungry now." she said rubbing her eyes sleepily. "Well, it looks to me like your tired. We'll get you something to eat, and then I'll put you to bed." he said smiling at her as she rested her head on his shoulder. With in seconds, she was out like a light.
"Diego, we will need you help in preparation for the release. Ihaco and I will be digging for you freedom, but will you help us, as our brother? We may be of two different races, but we have one thing in common, and that's our love for your sister. Will you help us?" Firther looked back to the prince who's acceptance he needed in order to love Felicia for ther rest of eternity.
