Dragonzealot DarkElf27 Kaori Kapoigne DarkElf27 Kaori Kapoigne *tries hard to resist an "overcompensating much?" remark* Nah, just compensating for all those players whose commanders aren't even painted. domokun *mentally compares your monstrous base with a humble guard commander on a small base* Hmmm... talk2hand Well I'm going to have a humble guard commander on my Tyrant base.... Coincidence? I think not! Speaking of whom... Guardsman: | 1|*| 2| 3| 4| 5|

You might want to work on the right arm a tad, around the top of the tassels is a shoulder strap, you might be better off cutting that away.
And Catachan legs don't look that well combined with Cadian torsos sweatdrop

And Catachan legs don't look that well combined with Cadian torsos sweatdrop I took the arm off a vehicle accessories sprue (and the other arm, torso, knife, and head, for that matter...), and I'm fairly certain the strap is part of the tassel. And yeah, I know, the width is different and the double-belts looks a bit funny, but the Cadians don't have any "Oh f***, RUN!" legs. whee

Another Reason why the Imperial Guardsmen fail. (I have no clue why I harbor this hatred for them...)
Every try Molding your own legs? Green Stuff works wonders if your skilled with a blade. XD

Only glaring issue that I can really see is the model's right arm. It looks like his shoulder is misaligned downward like he had a gimp limb.

I suppose it does look like he's running at full tilt, hell bent on getting away from your Hive Tyrant. Just on another small aesthetics thing, his left shoulder is slightly separated at the back, or it looked like that to my eyes.

I've already put a basecoat on it, but I'm going to work on it more tomorrow, add a little greenstuff to smooth that down. The rest of the greenstuff blends almost seamlessly with the model after I got it basecoated, though.

Alright. Other than those few things, the model is really quite nice. Once I get around to my Catachan, I plan on converting out my HSO in a running stance with his Storm Bolter and a Powersword held high.

Far in the future, friend. The next thing to come will probably be in 10-15 days when I'll -probably- have my Plague Lord modeled. Along with that might come a Slaaneshi Terminator Sorceror Lord.

It's a good thing you wont be using that Tyrant in games, with TLOS it will be an easy target, especially seeing as the elevated base will lift it above intervening models.

If/when I get Tyrand Guard for it, it won't be able to be singled out from the other members of its unit. As well, the Tyrant itself will be at the back of the base, so it'll only be minimally elevated.
