Saying that all Eldar are supposed to be brightly coloured is like saying that all Mordians are supposed to be blue and all Catachans green.

Damn right sista!

Everyone know that IG for example have different regimental uniforms for different types of battle, I don't see green/brown Cadians for example during winterbattle or white orks in the jungle... No wait I do see white orks in the jungle...

But the thing is that each gamer chose their own colour for their own craftworld, heck, one may even dip them all in mithrill silver!

my first army had purple bretonians (as in purple skinned, I was 8 ok? razz ), I got people complimenting me on my paint jobs : D.

Point is, its your models, fluff or no fluff, you can paint them whatever you like and assuming your actual painting is good and excedes 3 different colors, you wont hear a single person or ref at a tournament complain.

to be honest, i dislike the eldar at the best of times, either you have never fought them before and they slaughter you in the first few matches, then they start dropping like flies when you get the right weapons in. they are overpowered yet severly under-defended.

however, despite all this, all i can say to the falcon is "ooooooooo.... sweet paintjob!"

Its looking really nice, you got a good contrast of black with bright colours here, love to see it done completely with the cockpits closed.

All I can say is wow, I particularly like the pheonix type thing near the back of the falcon, I wish I could paint free hand that well. How long have you been painting for?
