I miss getting up and watching the really old Bugs Bunny cartoons, but I was a nineties girl, (born in '85,) so they didn't last long.

My favorite? Voltron! heart I loved that show. I mean, I also loved GI Joe, the original Transformers, Thundercats, Silverhawks, Snorks, He-Man, She-Ra, and the rest, but I just adored Voltron.
( stressed Mutters about Power Rangers being an absurd Voltron Rip-off scream )

I rarely watch American television, and am watching for DVD volumes of Dragon Ball Z and Hyakujuu-oh Golion (The original Japanese version of Lion Voltron) as they come out.
Americand simply do NOT make good cartoons anymore, aside from the rare Simpsons or Family Guy episode.

I force my kids to watch some of the classics on Boomerang with me, but there are still a few that I miss.
Voltron (lions and "cars"), Batman starring Adam West, Autobots, Dexter's Lab, Sailor Moon, Thundercats.
What happened to morning cartoons. In the classic days you could turn the tv on any morning and see something animated. Practical marathons on Saturdays. And the shows were meant to entertain and sell toys, none of this educational crap.

The lack of fear when it comes to killing off a main character (or anybody at all) is one good reason why I love Japanese children's shows. Yay Hyakujuu-oh Golion! Shame on you, Voltron!
