She looked over and saw #5 had come into the bar. She looked back over to Psy.
"Well, you see, Justin and I, well, we got into a bit of an argument over the weekend. We sort of worked things out, but I realize that I still have a lot of insecurities, and well....." She took a sip of her drink before she went on.
"I know I should be able to trust that he's not going to hurt me, at least not intentionally......" Her voice trailed off and she looked down at her glass.

She sighed, "Well at this rate, it's going to take forever, seems like. I want to be able to trust him completely, but after you've been burned once, it's kinda hard. That, and his work schedule is insane, so I really have no choice for it to go slow and gradual."

With my past and business associates and his career, it didn't instantly happen. It took a long time…baby steps. He read and probably studied my entire police file. He knew WAY more about me than I did about him at first. Getting to know someone well can be a very slow process. Plus, it's a leap of faith. neutral *Sips her martini.*
