I don't normally do photo manipulations, but I just had to try this. Trying to go from fruit to a more true to character helmet.

The line art is nearly done. As long as I don't feel the need to drastically redesign stuff (again) or get distracted with sketches or other things (again) I should be able to clean it up and finalize it tomorrow. TvT

I meant to make her eyes brown, but somehow they turned infernal on me. Now I know the color scheme to make realistic fire at least. >>;

I don't have any secrets. Just things I forgot I did.
Normally I wouldn't do this but we go way back so I'll make an exception and break down my process. Though it was for another site, I'm letting people ask what parts of my art they want a tut on while I'm in the process of coloring and lips don't take very long so I'll do it.

Lips is one of those things that I've spent way too much time on only for them to look like s**t in the end stressed
Case in point, Faerie's piece I had to redo the lips at least 3 times before I finally came to the conclusion that they weren't going to be getting any better and I need to just move on emotion_facepalm
