In eigth grade, my best friend got me to listen to them. I've been addicted ever since.

Well for me it was my babysitter. At first I thought they were scary especially cause the first thing I saw was Gee in I'm Not Okay was he looked into the camera really closely. It kinda scared me at first but then I heard Ghost of You and it became my favorite song, the first song I would sit down anf listen to from MCR. Then one day on Fuse I heard Vampires Will Never Hurt You which became my favorite song. Then My friends sarted getting into them more and more as I did too and so we all became fans. We kept listening to each others CDs and then it became what it is today.

The veyr first time I heard them was when I was like ten and the video I saw was Helena...I was a freaky deaky preppy thing back then so I though they sucked and forgot them until a friend form my school that I'm crushin' on showed me their music...I hate myself for rejecting them like two or three years ago. But it doens't matter now because I lurve them and my Frankie. heart blaugh heart blaugh heart blaugh

About 6 months ago, on my first day in a new school, I walked into my maths classroom and was promptly assigned a seat down the very back because my last name starts with a letter very late in the alphabet. 5 minutes later, a girl ran in, apologising for being late, she was new and she got lost. She was assigned the seat next to me because it was the only one left. I noticed she had anime stickers on her books and we started talking as we left class. She then turned to me and said "Have you ever heard of My Chemical Romance?..."

Hrrrmmmm...
I guess it was New Years's Eve 2005 when they performed on VH1 I think. I heard 'Welcome to the Black Parade' and I loved them. I downloaded the songs off of Three Cheers and I was in love. I got my friend into MCR.

I think it was 2005 when I first hear about them.
I was flipping the channels, and I stopped on MTV.
Then the I'm Not Okay (I Promise) video came up.
I was like... wow!
But then I stopped watching when Ray licked the crayon and bit it.
That kinda just freaked me out and I ignored it.
I wasn't really into them until the VMA's was on.
I remember watching the picks for song of the summer or year.
THen Helena was a choice.
I hear that little sample they always play... and I just was like... "OHHHH!!!!, I want MCR to win!"
After that (I didn't have internet yet) I would just wait most of the day until Helena came up on MTV.
I would put it up all the way.
I was just blow away by the vocals, the guitars, and the colors and attitude of it all. I then, I think I was just sucked into listening to them.
The more I heard them... the more I loved their music.
I was stuck with that stupid, pop music... until MCR.
So now, I'm MCR all the way!!

I saw them back in 2003 at London Astoria, they were supporting millencolin (an awesome band) xp was an awesome gig, they weren't really too well known back then, gerard was pissed and was walking in the crowd with us, bob wasn't with them and neither was frank. Just gerard, mikey and ray and some drummer. Was awesome smile

It started out with Vampires, I'm not okay and Helena. then I got the album Welcome to The Black Parade and Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. I lovem so bad.

I heard them on the radio and didn't know who they were, and I could not figure out what the song was. Then my friend made me listen to a few of their songs and I heard the song I'd heard on the radio, and I was hooked for life. burning_eyes

I'm a huge Green Day fan, always been. And when they announced their tour with MCR, that's when I first heard them. And something said *click*.
