The DJ continues playing samba music for everyone's enjoyment. Kat finished off her drink and motioned to Scott for a refill. She nibbled at her appetizers while he made her drink.

Plenty of rice and beans too, Draa. *Adds some steak to her plate and samples of the various rice and bean dishes along with some potato salad.* That sorbet looks great, too. All things considered, Kat really does try to make sure there are non-meat dishes available. stare *The parrot ducks his beak beneath his wing when she says Kat.* Whether you like it or not, some of us still like a little muscle tissue now & then. twisted

Yes... I'm well aware that people still enjoy eating meat. The point is simply that there are plenty of options for you and not so much for vegetarians. For instance...

Not a single vegetarian "main course"... which leaves me with sides... and even then I don't have nearly as many options as you do. Of course, beans and rice are a meal within themselves, but that's beside the point.
I basically have one or two things to choose from, and if I happen to not like either option, then I have nothing. Just because it's vegetarian doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to automatically like it.
If all else fails, I could just order from the Jade Dragon, though.
