Nanogg wished that the song hadn't faded. He gave Kerras an unhappy look before trying to pretend he wasn't disappointed, that he didn't want to hear more. If there was any more. He guessed he could make it up on his own, it was just a good melody -- he could almost hear his hammerbeats as well as his footfalls on the snow.

"Yeah, forge song. I like singing at my forge." He saw a few likely targets for attacking... they looked vaguely familiar. And were bluebloods -- so they probably had an attack coming to them, ******** outsiders.

"It helps keep. The. Beat. And I focus real well with it." Nanogg shrugged, "I dunno how my singing voice sounds to ya, but I like it well enough with my hammer."

Gwenyn's legs sped through the snow as she relaxed considerably. She released a hollow laugh. "Who knows if I might need to harm them in the future? Who knows what they might do to incur my wrath?" Gwenyn's sounded hollow yet amused, yet her eyes held no hint of laughter.

The blow was hard, and Static was pretty darn sure the two creepers had been hitting for him, not Garand. Oh well, they were still in the running, and it was going fairly well.

The tealblood's eyes widened. Nanogg could have been much older than themself, and yet he already worked his own forge. It made their own life seem small and aimless in comparison. At the same time though, they could not help but feel inspired. They knew they were in the right company.

"I think that's amazing!" Kerras exclaimed, voice pitching with excitement. "What kind of things do you..." The trailed off, as the look on Nanogg's face registered. Tightening the leads against their shoulders, they turned their attention ahead.

"We can keep singing. I think it helps too," they continued, softer. "How about something like this?" The tealblood took in a breath.

"The season of the crow brings silence in white,
Solitude, death, but hearkens starlight
In breezes mean, the world turns her face away
Blind to those, she abandoned to the grey

"Ere two travellers whistling across frozen land
On a sail stitched from wind
Spirits stern, shaped by cold and ice
They go to make a stand"

Amazing, huh. Well, Nanogg wasn't going to turn down that praise, of course not! He was certainly going to be amazing, if he had anything to say about it. And he would.

"Metalwork." he said, about to elaborate... until Kerras began to sing again, and Nanogg's grin became one of satisfaction. "Sounds good." he said, about to follow along... when he saw an opening. He merely hummed along this time as he rushed in to knock down the bluebloods once and for all.

Winning was in sight, and what music to grasp it with? Or... forge it, more like.
