She had rested her chin on her hand, elbow propped on the bar while JJ told his story. She couldn't help but smile at Miro's enthusiasm for the story.
"I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have some sort of supernatural power. Even being half elf as I am, I don't believe I have any magical qualities. Unless you count throwing a hell of a party amongst those. xd "
She grinned and sipped her drink.
"Miro, how did you become a cleric?"

Some people do both, like rangers and paladins. People in Miro's world call them "hybrids". But as the saying goes, "a jack of all trades is the master of none", so their magic isn't as strong as if they just took up magic, nor are they as skilled of fighters as they would have been if they had just been fighters. They no longer classify themselves as either a "mage" or a "swordsman" when they do both, though... since that is misleading and could put other people's lives at risk since if they called themselves a mage, they would be expected to have the full capability of a mage. Same with calling themselves a swordsman.

It's Miro story time blaugh
Miro wasn't sure what she wanted to be. She thought about being a bard, but everyone kept saying that high elves don't do the bard thing mad Miro wanted to be one anyway, but learning all those instruments would have been hard sweatdrop Miro hears some bards end up with carpal tunnel syndrome too gonk Miro didn't want to have that crying Then Miro had a friend who was a rogue and he was cool and he had cool friends so Miro wanted to be a rogue mrgreen But then he stole from Miro and Miro wasn't happy sad and she decided not to be friends with him anymore. One of his friends, who the red headed lady knows blaugh , said that's what rogues do, so Miro would be making people unhappy too if she were a rogue. sad He also told Miro that she could get hurt and be scarred for life just from the training and Miro thought that didn't sound nice either.

Miro didn't know what to do then. Miro thought about not developing any of those kinds of skills and just doing normal things and stuff because everything always seemed like it would either be too difficult or make people unhappy... or both. Then Miro was taught how to bandage wounds and she wished there was more she could do since it didn't help that much and that's when she was led in the direction of clericnessnessness 3nodding

JJ smiled as Miro told her story; he didn't know her very well, but from what he could tell, she enjoyed her career path. "Sounds interesting; though, I don't know how magic works on this plane of existence. I know I'm drawing off a reservoir I built up with the Wind Gods Boreas, Notus, Eureus, and Zephyrus, as well as a bit o' chaos from Eris." He smiled. "Though, she doesn't like to part with it very often, so I just stick to the wind." He checked his watch. "Ah, I guess it's time after all." Standing, he stretched, his arms reaching up overhead before coming down to grab his beer bottle. "I've got to be going, so you two have a good night, alright?" He headed for the door, smiling and waving over his shoulder as he left. ((Gotta hit the books for a while now, two midterms tomorrow. Have a good night!))

Miro saw Draa earlier. 3nodding He said he's not going to be Draa anymore for a while. He was looking around for certain clothes and stuff when Miro left the apartment. Miro didn't want to look around the room to help him because he has naughty stuffs in there sweatdrop

confused "Not going to be Draa anymore?" She shook her head and tried to think of the best way to try and tell Miro that Draa more than likely needed medical attention.
"Um, Miro? You know when Draa went to Vegas for Dougherty's bachelor party? Well, we've heard how he's not been feeling well, and....well, Miro, he needs to either see a doctor or have you try and heal him, I'm afraid...."

Draa didn't tell Miro he was sick. confused Though, Miro thinks he might be lighting things on fire in the bathroom. Miro doesn't know how he gets rid of the smoke smell though. Miro thinks maybe the fan in there is just really effective. 3nodding
But that makes it sound like if there's a problem, that would be a mental problem and Miro can't cure mental illness sweatdrop Why would going to Vegas make Draa crazy though? surprised Did everyone else that went go crazy too? eek

"Ummm, Miro....if he's talking about something burning in the bathroom, I think he's physically in pain and just doesn't want to tell you for some reason. And as far as Vegas goes....I think Draa might have, um, met someone there and got sick from being around that person."
She took a large sip of her drink. She didn't want to come out and say she was suspicious that Draa has a STD. Because then she'd have to explain what a STD was to Miro. stressed
