I discovered MCR while home sick one day. We had just gained the Fuse channel, and I was watching some music videos when I'm Not Okay came on. I immediately fell in love with the video concept and forced myself to remember their name. I later on went to try and look things up about them online, but couldn't find much. I ran across their actual website, read up a bit on them, and let it fade because I wasn't finding much on them. Then I started hearing the song on the radio which instantly made me go back into looking up them up. I found a lot more on them by that point. Granted, when I first saw the I'm Not Okay video is was probably a good three or so months before they were even played on the radio here. ...And that's how it happened.

It was my best friend's dad's birthday and before I took a shower my dad showed me something on YouTube that had nothing to do with MCR. It was, like, some videos that popped up during Doctor Who. They spooked me out so when I got to my friend's house I showed her. We spent almost the whole time in her room on the computer 'cause we didn't feel like hanging out with her family. On the "Related" section was a video of the Sims2 with a ghost in a microwave. We thought it was funny so we looked up "the sims 2" and up came "jaydee227"'s video of Helena. We watched it (which took a long time to load because her computer is slow) and when I got home I watched it and watched it and watched it! I heard that it was a MCR song and I just HAD to buy their CDs. I was hooked. And that's how it happened.

I first heard of my chemical romance when i saw them live at the Astoria in London, they were supporting the main band i went to see..millencolin. And I remember seeing ray with his cool big afro type hair lol, and mikey was the same, but gerard was pretty drunk, had a beer bottle in his hand and was spitting on the crowd lol and started walking around the crowd with us lol. I didn't know who they were at all, Frank and Bob weren't with them i recall, it was cool though. And then about a year later after getting the odd song off limewire...i saw bullets in a HMV store, and was like oooo i saw them a while ago, and bought the cd and WHOA, it blew my away, especially as I could play spanish romance already and didn't know MCR had done a cover of it. It was awesome, and they've had a special place in my heart ever since smile take care any readers of this, cya smile

I heard of them ages ago but for some reason wasn't into that kind of music back then, it was all pop for me. (Yeah, I developed late. xd ) After "Welcome To The Black Parade" song came out and my friend freaked out when she saw the advert for the tour in the magazine I looked them up to see what all the fuss was about. In the end I bought the last album from the shop and was hooked ever since. My friend is, nonetheless, pleased to have me as a fan of MCR now. Its as though I have seen... the light! xd

Two-ish years ago my friend made me listen to 'I'm Not Okay' on our way to a play for school (the only reason I remember is because I remember what number she told me to put the CD player on razz ) And I didn't like it! I said it was too loud for 8 in the morning! Around a month later I came back to her like WHAT WAS I THINKING?! razz
