Alter turned, walking towards one of the stained glass windows, looking up at the images covering it. The Original Battle against Lucemon, the Defeat of the Dark Masters. The sun shining down on the digital world below it. It was sickening to see that here. "No offence? None." Alter's voice was a whisper. "My life was an offence to the angels," A flash of blood stained hands appeared in Alter's mind. "I could control the darkness, I am the darkness, and so they despised me." The blood wasn't his, it was raining down around him. "They locked me up. They abused me until I would do anything so they would just hit me a little softer." Why was there blood? "I was six." This was his house. "Then they continued to work me over. Mentally twisting me. Making me their lap dog." He screamed.* "I worshipped them. They easily could have started to show me love, and I would have been theirs." His parents hung above him. "Just a word of kindness." Their blood dipping down onto his face. "Even a thank you." Alter's mind returned to the present, What was that? he didn't have time for such thoughts. "But now I am in control." He turned to face Marcus. "And I will stay in control for as long as I have too."

*Only in his mind, no idea how to word that without stating it like this.

Seraphimon didn't waste time getting attack, his swords crossed against Grappleomon, he let loose a roar, forcing holy power to explode from his body. The light forced the digimon back, the holy energy burning away their sin and wickedness as they fought against it.

[[Enter Kazu and Team]]

MetalGarurumon came into a running landed, lowering his legs like the wheels of a jet-plane. Once at a standstill Kazu lept off the Metal dog and patted him.
"Cheers buddy. Take it easy ok? I may need to draw on your power later."
The Metal dog Digimon growled and burst into green particles, re-entering Kazu's Digivice. Kazu looked around. There were no guards. A bad sign already. Chibomon shiverred.
"Kazu... Something feels... Wrong."
Kazu rubbed his friends head.
"I know buddy. I feel it too."
Kazu took a calming breath before stepping inside the tower.
"Sh*t..."
It was like a war had been fought inside the tower. It was definatly new, Kazu knew for a fact there had been no fighting here during the Digi-Memory War. A huge explosion rocked the tower, causing Kazu to loose his footing.
"Ahh crap! What now!"
Sprinting outside Kazu scanned the tower, a huge hole had been blown out of the side of the building, the faint sight of a Crusadermon avoiding falling presented itself to Kazu.
"Son of a... C'mon guys!"
Kazu re-entered the tower, pelting across the chamber towards the stairs. He could feel something in his bones. Something familiar. Two powers, both of which were sending alarming tingles down his spine. Nevertheless Kazu hit the stairs at a flying pace, taking two at a time as he began his acent of the Tower...

Kazu bolted up the stairs, the bad feeling was growing ever stronger as he climbed higher. The feeling was all too familiar, flash-backs of the Final Battle flooded his mind. People being killed. Draco transending humanity altogether. He shook his head as he saw the opening to the Chamber. He hit the final stair and threw a hand infront of his eyes to sheild from the intense light. As his eyes adjusted Kazu froze...
"You..."
This was insane.
"Both... Here?"
It was them.
Marcus and Alter. The two Tamers that filled Kazu's very being with utter terror. But what was this? As Kazu watched he saw a Seraphimon clashing with a Grappleomon. As the pair tussled, a Vampiric Digimon appeared across the Chamber, next to Alter. Demi-Veemon and Chibomon nestled closer to Kazu, even Veemon sidled closer.
"Kazu..."
"I-I don't like this..."
"Should we really be here..."
Kazu couldn't answer. He was almost rooted to the spot. No. He couldn't do this anymore, he couldn't be worthless and stand by anymore.
"It's ok guys. We'll not just stand by anymore!"
The three Veemon stages nodded in unison. Kazu needed to play it carefully now. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he knew Seriphimon was usually a good being. But in Alter's hands...
"Chibomon!"
The blue blob nodded and leapt forwards into the air Kazu drew his Digivice, spinning it as the Digi-Egg of Miracles formed on the screen.
"Now!"
A bright light bathed Chibomon as he transformed, the blob shape changing to a more humanoid form. Armour appeared and clamped down on his arms, legs, torso and head.
"Raah!"
Magnamon burst forth, floating before his friends.

Kazu could feel his heart pounding ridiculously fast in his chest. This was it, do or die. Choose a side, or be wiped out. Desperatly scanning Marcus and Alter for clues of their real intentions he drew a blank. He racked his brain, thinking back to that fateful day atop the Endless Mountain. Alter had brought the tradegy to this world. Marcus had helped... But he'd turned it around and tried to save the Digital World. Kazu couldn't see the two vicious Digimon he'd fought before. The ChaosWarGreymon and the ChaosGallantmon...
"Let me help you Marcus!"
Magnamon understood. Bolting forwards towards Seraphimon. As the angel's fist flew towards Grappleomon's stomach Magnamon appeared.
"Aura Barrier!"
He concentrated his golden power into a small disk, holding it out to take the impact of the hit. Seraphimon's fist smashed into the disk but Magnamon held his ground. Expecting a follow up he braced, but the Angel Digimon simply manuvered himself around Grappleomon.
Kazu's breathing was rapid in fear, his block had worked, but it was yet to be seen whether his help was needed or if he had chosen the wrong side.
"I won't stand by! Double warp!"
Demi-Veemon launched off of Kazu's shoulder and burst into bright light re-emerging as AeroVeedramon. He landed before Kazu, facing Alter and the Vampiric Dio. Kazu placed a hand on Veemon's shoulder.
"Just hang on ok? We'll see what the threat is first. Something about this seems all to familiar."

((Well then, the tables have turned... slightly. WB, Gema heart ))

Marcus started to walk towards Alter, "Despite what you've been through, all the trials you've been put through, the lies you've been told, it all has to stop. You're out of your mind and a danger to everyone around you!" He then stopped as Alter summoned his other digimon. He gritted his teeth realizing that the fight was only just begining.

As the giant vampire appeared, Zeedgarurumon jumped in front of Marcus, growling. Cannon barrels appeared all around his metallic exterior, poised and ready to unleash a fury of metal on the beast.

Grappleomon braced himself for the hit, but was caught off guard as the attack did not connect, but was blocked by another digimon intervening. "Who are you?" the lion digimon would ask. He found relief as the smaller blue and gold digimon was offering to help, but that relief soon vanished as he realized that the Seraphimon was now standing next to him. In response, he jumps away from the Seraphimon, with his fists up in front of his face.

Marcus looked back to see both Kazu and Kyo coming up with their own digimon. He frowned at the boy and his ninja partner, "Kyo... I thought I told you to stay back?"

((If you're confused, go back a few pages or so.))

Kazu knew what was coming.
"Cover your ears!"
He pulled out his MP3 player and turned the volume up to max as the wall of sound from Grandracmon swept over him. AeroVeedramon's mouth shone for a few seconds before he fired a blast at the ground, a continuous stream of flame noisily burned. Magnamon, was quick to dodge out of Seraphimons range, he heard Kazu's shout and launched to protect Grappleomon. He focused and erected another Aura Sheild, this one an attempt to cover both himself and Grappleomon. Withing the sheild was utter silence as the deadly noice flowed through the air.
"I'm Magnamon... We senced something was up, and by the looks of things we were right."

Back with Kazu the sound wall had passed, he turned the volume right down, wincing at how loud it had been. AeroVeedramon was huffing and puffing, but he seemed to be ok.
"Stupid noise! Take this!"
Kazu panicked,
"Wait damn it!"
"V-Nova-Blast!"
An arrow of blazing fire burst from AeroVeedramon's mouth and roared across the Chamber towards Grandracmon...

Magnamon lowered his barrier and sighed. Suddenly a bright light caught his eye as Seraphimon started screaming.
"No!"
There was no time to react to the explosion, nothing Magnamon coud do...
Seraphimon flopped to the ground, his mind destroyed.
"B-but... Why?"
Magnamon was confused, but the sound of AeroVeedramon attacking drew his focus. He himself would not attack... He'd wait it out and measure his foe's power...

Kyo grinned at Marcus "I told you I would help you find Chris and I'm sticking to it." He lifted his thumb up as to say lets go. Just as this hall-mart moment began it was quickly ruined by the deathly scream of Dio. It sounded as if hell itself was rising. "Gah!" Kyo screamed he grabbed his ears trying to downed out the sound. "Iga, stop him!" he screamed as he dropped to the floor on his knees and tears filled his eyes.

Iga winced at the sound being a cyborg Winged Guardian the sound didn't effect him as much but like Destino he felt Kyo's pain. He raised his fingers to his mouth and shut his eyes his body became consumed by wind and his body vanished. With in a brief moment Iga reappeared behind Dio. "Blast Wing!" Iga shouted, his wing perked up and began to glow with a vivid black light. The feathers bursted fourth to the Vampiric Digimon. With the combination of his blast wing and Destino's howl Dio had no chance.

Kinko still with Kyo and Still in his Yokomon form winced in pain of the sonic attack. He shook his head yelling at the top of his little lungs "FLOWER BUBBLE!" Pinkish Purple bubbles flowed from his mouth. This bubbles surround the tamers and the non attacking digimon. The screams volume was decreased. "There!" the Yokomon grinned at his tamer. "That'll stop the scream for a little." Kinko smiled to Kazu, Marcus, and Kyo.

Kyo grinned at this tiny digimon "Thanks Kinko" Kyo said putting the digimon back into his arms. He turned to the other tamers "We need to plan our attack while we still have our cover."

The high-pitched screech seemed to die down allowing Marcus to regain consciousness. Marcus stood back up and reached for his digivice, but then it hit him like a freight train. The power of Grandracmon's 'Second Verse' knocked Marcus back and into a wall. "ACK!!!"

The power of the near silent shockwave provided the perfect counter against Zeedgarurumon's Metal Blaze attack, causing his bullets and other forces of projectiles to explode before they could hit. In addition to that, Zeedgarurmon was also knocked back a bit by the force, but not as much as Marcus was. He bore his metallic claws into the ground to hold his place.

Similar to Marcus, Crusadermon was hit dead on back the attack and sent flying into the wall, a short distance from where he landed back when he was a knightmon. "What have we done... what have we created here?" Crusadermon would say to himself as he was on the verge of passing out.
