"If my sister was reliable enough to truly have noticed these things, then I would not have found three people on her payroll that don't work here after just a few minutes of walking in."
He takes out his cellphone and begins dialing Kyle, speaking mostly to himself as he does. "If Kyle is the only one with all the information, then I don't see why any of the ranking women have ranks in the first place."
Antonio holds the phone up to his ear, eyes wandering around the room as he waits for someone to pick up. When he comes across a scorch mark on the floor, he uses his free hand to type a note about it on his laptop.
"Kyle? Antonio again. I'm here at the bar. Meet me as soon as you're able. I've got some more questions for you."
He immediately hangs up as soon as Kyle finishes responding and places his cellphone back into his pocket, looking up when he sees another person enter and taking note of the names being exchanged.
"You would not happen to be Chef Karrie of the neighboring restaurant, would you?"

Antonio actually smiles at Karrie's response. "Very good. I'm glad to hear that not all of my sister's choices of employees were made so poorly."
Soon afterward, Kyle enters the bar and approaches Antonio. Figuring this may take a while, he closes up his laptop and asks where they might discuss things privately. Kyle motions him toward the office, but Antonio doesn't move.
"I am afraid the office is already occupied. I saw a redheaded woman enter there shortly after I arrived."

Despite having never in person seen a portal or the kind of vanishing technique Lady Leko used earlier, nor having ever known such things were actually possible, with his mind set on business, neither display really phased him much. The only thought about each crossing his mind was if anyone would potentially try to file a frivolous lawsuit on the place for perceived health risks and what could be done to avoid them.
Kyle explains to Antonio that there is a passageway in the office that leads downstairs and that the residents pass through there to get to their quarters, so there likely was no one currently in the office.
"Just how many residents are there?"
Rather than answering immediately, Kyle helps Antonio with his laptop and escorts him to the office, knowing there will be many other questions ahead.

On a theorem? confused *decides not to ask* Okay... I'll be heading out soon anyway. *drinks his coke, wondering if Amy's made out out of bed yet. She was so exhausted, she hadn't even woken up when he put her in bed last night. That morning he'd made sure to leave her a breakfast that could be quickly heated up and told both Velcore and Thistle about it*
