Ulani gave a sigh of relief as the small pokemon with the strange hat rammed head long into the things groin sending it spiraling back and away from the group. It wasn’t long before it went scrambling and disappeared. Good!
"Mean ol’ yellow Darkrai!" She huffed and just for good measure, stuck her tongue out at it as it fled. She looked to the newbies that had joined at last minute to help them, uncertainty etched on her face as she moved a bit closer to Prim. They’d helped them so they didn’t seem like bad pokemon or anything. But there was no certainty in a place like this.
"Thanks…. For the help?" She remarked, uncertain if they would turn around and start trying to assault her and Prim as well. She turned her gaze back to where the Hypno had fled, blinking and noticing that just as magically as it had appeared, that the stream of muck that had been blocking them from the doorway had all but disappeared, leaving a clean stretch of path.
"Oh, oh! Flower look! Look! We can get to the door now!" She jumped excitedly, tugging on Prim’s hand to get her attention to this fact. She looked back to the Cubone and Klow, titling her head in consideration before pointing. "Did you want.. want to come with us? You guys are good fighters! Right flower?"

Daiki had leapt into action with his team, a purple glow about him. The others managed to do some damage before he came in, but after the first slash, he had already readied another attack. The Zoroark struck out with his claws again at the hypno before jumping back. Like the other battles so far, it seemed like he was using his powers in excess without really realizing. Though this time, him jumping back was due to not wanting his errant sparks of energy to touch his team mates. Daiki grit his teeth, crouched off to the side as he tried to get his powers back under control.

Vivace was in a bit of shock, she almost forgot to applaud the group's combined attacks to effortlessly, once again, sweep an enemy off their feet; that weird yellow pokemon hadn't even had a chance to find get its footing before it'd been bowled over by a barrage of various attacks. It was beautiful, and wonderfully powerful. "We're really great," she complimented, throwing modesty out the window to embrace reality. They all worked well together, Radium encouraging them and then the rest of them immediately going in for an attack. Ever grateful to be leaving behind the swamp, even if she'd, literally, hadn't taken a step into this area, she had immediately grown tired of it. So, a change of pace was not only desired, it was greatly appreciated.

How did I come here? Mystery Dungeon Another lost soul? Xiao Lan, Beltigre, Shade, and Daiki
☆ ☆【Fianna exhaled in relief when she managed to catch the wandering Xiao Lan just as their newest foe, a Hypno to be more exact, made its presence known. Arceus… who knows what would’ve happened if she’d been even a second too late. The very thought of the little bat falling prey to one of these big-nosed creeps was… terrifying, to say the least… Figures that these bastards would be trying to use their powers of hypnosis to try and separate them, but Fianna wasn’t so easily affected by such tricks as she pushed back any feelings of drowsiness that crept over her through sheer willpower. Thankfully, Shade’s strike against the Hypno threw off its balance and halted its droning, hypnotic chant for a few seconds, allowing the Braixen ample time to try and snap Xiao Lan out of it as she gently shook her and spoke words of encouragement to fight back against the ‘bad guys’. Glowering at the Psychic-type, she breathed a scorching blast of air at the Hypno, that ought to teach it not to mess around with them. Shame that it seemed her fire attack lacked its normal capability of inflicting burns on her enemies…
Thankfully, Xiao Lan managed to snap out of the hypnotic daze she’d been in, the Braixen gently releasing her hold on the Noibat as she took to the air and dove at the Hypno. The big-nosed Pokemon snarled in pain as the little bat’s teeth sunk into it, and before it could think to try and strike back at her Daiki caught up with them and leapt into the fray with the telltale purple aura of dark energy surrounding him. Baring his claws, which crackled with infused dark energy, the Zoroark dealt a nasty slash to the Hypno, not even giving it a moment to recover as he raked it again before jumping back out of range. Fianna winced as she noticed the sporadic sparks of energy radiating off of him, flying off like hot ash from a burning campfire. It seemed like he was pushing himself a bit more than needed again, though he appeared to be trying to rein his powers back in. As much as she wanted to make sure Daiki was okay, she had to keep her focus on the Hypno in case it might try to counter against them. So far, it hadn’t really done much of anything in terms of retaliating, though it narrowed its eyes at them and held out a hand towards them as its muttering gradually grew louder. Fianna growled lowly and got into position when she noticed the growing purple aura that surrounded the Hypno’s hand, a clear sign that it was preparing to lash back with a psychic attack. The Braixen clenched her free hand into a fist, ready to either rush it and get in another strike or jump in to defend her teammates from whatever it was going to use against them. She felt it would be best for them to not let it get even a single opportunity to retaliate; there was still a chance for them to get out of here relatively unscathed. The Hypno was surely already weakened enough by now… perhaps a few more hits would be enough to finally do it in.
Fianna watched their enemy with a calculating gaze as Xiao Lan dove in again and snapped at the arm holding its hypnosis charm to try and force it to drop the thing, prepared to rush in and hopefully deal it a final, finishing blow. However, it seemed she wouldn’t have to as Shade blindsided the Hypno as the Chengshen sent out the same kind of silvery arrow-like projectiles it had used against the Sableye that lanced into the Psychic-type. With a wracking groan the Hypno staggered back and away from them seemingly in a daze, its weakened legs buckling before giving way and sending it falling face first into the mud below. Dark flames set the unmoving body of the Hypno alight, burning brightly until it had consumed the entirety of the yellow creature’s body and leaving only a huge puff of smoke in its wake. ”Well… suppose that’s that then,” Fianna remarked as she released a breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding, letting her stance relax somewhat, ”Is everyone okay?” A cursory glance at each of her teammates showed that none of them had sustained any physical harm, to her relief… the Hypno had been thoroughly beaten before it had a chance to strike back, though they likely wouldn’t have that same kind of luck with the next guardian. Her gaze lingered a bit longer on Daiki, concern clear in her eyes as she seemed to silently ask him how he was feeling. Still, there was no time to linger around here, she noticed the mud before them parting down the center to reveal a clean, solid grassy path leading to the stairs. ”Let’s go, before more of them show up and try to get in our way,” she said, beckoning for the others to come along, ”This is only my guess… but I think we’re likely not much further away from reaching Darkrai now.” She hadn't thought much on it before, as it had only been a bit of a subtle change... but somehow the air around here felt much more oppressive than it had back on the first floor... As if some kind of enormous, ominous presence was looming over them more and more the further in they went... Fianna wasn't sure of what to expect when they would finally find and fight this Darkrai being, but she was determined to do whatever it took to get out of this nightmarish world and get back to Phoenix. For now, though, they needed to keep moving forward, preferably before they'd have to worry about fighting more Hypno.
Moving along with the others, she headed for the stairs at a brisk pace along the new grassy path towards the staircase beyond, keeping a close eye on Xiao Lan to make sure any more Hypno wouldn't try to steal her away again. She felt quite glad to not have to worry about tarrying in the mud for much longer, the cool, damp grass of the cleared path felt almost heavenly against her paws after spending so long slogging through almost nothing but muck and grime. Fianna wasn’t sure what lay ahead of them beyond these stairs, but she certainly hoped whatever new environment they might end up in on the next floor wasn’t quite as unpleasant as this swamp had been. Even if it was probably just a dream, she certainly felt like a nice, long, hot bath should be in order when she got back to the real world to wash this lingering ickiness off of her.】☆ ☆

Noah was quick to catch her wit, replying himself in kind. She offered a lighthearted chuckle to his words. Truth be told, she wasn't entirely sure of what this body of hers was entirely capable of, she hadn't really been given the chance to use it in battle since she'd evolved. Getting a real feel for her muscles, she decided to go physical with her next attack. The Hypno once more found speed with it's own attacks, quickly launching another burst of psychic energy that found Noah it's target this time. "Seems Darkrai might actually figure we're a threat finally." Allure grinned. Having suddenly slid all the way into the awaiting army, Daphnes took this opportunity to try and aim himself at one of he many Hypno before them. As luck would have it one of them met with his shelled body in full force. However, after hitting the Hypno Daphnes had the unfortunate experience to begin twirling around and around in circles like a top until eventually he came to a stop after hitting a mud patch. This left the battle up to Chickpea, Dune and Mogwai to beat. When the dragon recovered to see his companions had felled the fiend the dragon released a disappointed grunt. "Oh... I don't want to experience that again ever." He voiced shaking his head. Standing up, the dragon found his footing and started towards the stairs, looking back to his team. "We should go now when we have the chance!" With that he turned and began his ascent up the staircase. Without his knowledge, a shiny purple scale had found itself lodged in his shell down near his belly.
