I keep two versions of each picture, one flattened to post and show off, and one that's not. I do that just in case I want to go back and change something. After a few months, the non-flattened one gets deleted if I haven't done anything with it.

Oh and this is the full size version if you want it. So you can see every little sparkle.

Just as soon as I figure out how to keep my line art crisp and clean, my technique becomes obsolete because my coloring is departing from cell shading and going into realism. It's not easy being an artist. cat_crying

Some people just don't know how to enjoy the moment. Spending a bit of time playing in different styles again. I worked hard on developing a cute style I lost my sexy style. I'm trying to get it back again.

After a couple more people got on me about the black line work I decided to stop being stubborn about changing it and diluting it. It's not that hard a process... I'm just lazy. So after a couple hours of work and fix ups I bring you Faerie type-B.
Now the question is how far do I take it? Into the skin tones as well and try for a type-C just to see what it looks like?

Yes... skin and hair... most especially hair. If you already did the hair, then it's still too dark.

I've been picking up tips from Loshka as she live streams her art. Right now she's drawing Gandalf with a shot gun riding a centaur whilst naked.
I've been working on Faerie's face for a while. Line less is hard, but it should be well worth the effort. I really could use some sleep now though.
