"Mhmm...if you need anything you know where to find me." He gave her soft and gentle kiss before heading upstairs and back to his room before plopping down on the bed, not even bothering to shut the door or cover himself with sheets.

She smiled at his kiss and slowly made her way upstairs. She found one of the spare rooms and left the door open some as she climbed into bed. She fell asleep easily, but was plagued by nightmares, tossing in her sleep.

Alex woke up a little later than he normally would have the next day. He peeked into the room that Bernadette was in and smiled softly for a moment before heading into the kitchen and starting to make breakfast for the two of them.

She buried herself into the pillows before waking. She was still tired but didn't dare go back to sleep. She sat up rubbing her eyes and could smell something cooking. Slowly she got up and headed downstairs.

Wandering around the kitchen Alex worked on cooking several things at once. He was making eggs, ham and toast. Hearing foot steps he turned to see Bernadette and smiled softly. "Morning. How you feeling?"

she smiled back a little and shrugged. "Smells good in here."

"That's good to know. I just hope it tastes good as well." He said with a laugh.

She padded over and buttered the toast. "Watch your eggs then. Don't want them burning." She said and yawned.

"Hmm?" He went over to the eggs and started to stir them up a bit. "Thanks."

"Mmmhmm." She felt better although tired, and hoped she at least looked normal again. she took a slice of toast and nibbled on it, her stomach felt like a hallowed pit.

He grabbed two plates and split the food evenly between them before putting them on a counter and grabbing two glasses. "What do you want to drink?" He noticed she had gained some of her color back and smiled happily at that.

"What do you have?" She asked as she looked at the plates.  

[NightWerewolf]

"Orange juice, apple juice, tea and water." He said, getting himself of apple juice as he spoke.

"Apple is fine." She set her toast on one of the plates, half eaten. she wasn't sure she could eat all of what is on the plate, but resolved to try.

He poured a second glass and brought over to a table before grabbing his plate. "Did that sage stuff help at all?"
