What a shock, it was so surprising, You looked so small and frail------------------------------------------------}:- Izzy Lucky At times life can be so enlightening .uoy no nrut nac ti tuB
Izzy swallowed in air and pulled off his glasses for a brief moment to wipe them clean with the cloth napkin. His face was rather puffy and red now from tears that streamed along his face. Obviously, his best attempts to stop his own tears only amounted sniffles that seemed to cause more tears. Although, he listened to each of Kai's words. Then, he looked up at Kai for a moment squinting a little bit before settling the glasses back on his nose.
Maybe he was a tiny bit relieved that his file was commendable and at least caused Kai to smile a bit. But it still took him a bit of time to process the apology that Kai offered. So when Kai left the room for a moment Izzy was able to catch his breath and try to find his center again. Actually he was rather surprised Kai had apologized Could it be there was more to the man than just a demanding playboy?
When Kai returned with the glasses, Izzy looked a little bit better that he did before. At least, his face was less red and the tears had been all cleaned up. Even though he had thought not to drink any alcohol, he changed his mind especially when he saw the bottle's name. Izzy knew the bottle and brand - Very exclusive and one of the most expensive reds in the world. His lips took a sip of the fine wine and his eyes closed so his nose and tongue could savor the full bodied taste that flowed in and started to ease him away from his stress.
"I..I accept your apology, Kai." he finally said after taking a second sip of the wine which was almost too good to drink. "The people at the office had told me to be prepared for quite a challenge with you, but I never expected...well that sort of challenge. Umm..they told me you were a playboy and rather...mmm...egotistical. But, well most stars have an ego so I usually take that with a grain of salt." His lips returned to the wine which had smooth flavor that Izzy couldn't help but come back to.
"Oh...mm.. well it wasn't only you...." Then, he seemed a bit more thoughtful trying to figure out his next words, " What you did...well it was wrong. And, I still don't understand why you did it but..well...I can see you're sincere right now." For a moment, he didn't say anything but the wine was easing his head with ever taste. He'd soon want another glass...no...he shouldn't but maybe just a little more.
"Narcissus...mm...I didn't tell him what you did in the alley. I don't want him to have anything on you, Kai." he said softly as he stared into the wine glass which was now almost empty. "I don't want you to think...that he was here for relations with me. He wasn't here for that. There are mm.. a lot of politics in Ohayou Productions. Narcissus stands to inherit the Studio when Chairman Koyasu-sama, his grandfather passes it to him,"
His brow furrowed in his own desperate frustration trying to be careful about what he said, "I had tried for a promotion to be his manager. I got the job too. But...he decided he didn't want one and well his grandfather dotes on him so it stuck. Eventually, I was given you as my Star. But..." he swallowed, "That doesn't stop, Narcissus from...demanding things." He stopped there and held out his glass for a refill of the wine.
Because how could he say that Narcissus was a sadistic monster? He couldn't say that a part of him found a dominant man like him...attractive. Good god no! How could he say that the man was blackmailing him? How could he tell his star that if Narcissus ever found out about the Alley it would be another thing he could use against them? No, he couldn't say anything because Narcissus had his career by the throat.
He paused for another moment when the stepped in with a few wood boats covered with sushi. Enough sushi for a small army of people to be honest. And for Izzy, it was a much needed distraction as a perplexed look came across his face when he finally realized how much sushi he ordered. "Oh...my...how am I going to eat all of this." He looked up at Kai quickly, "Do you like sushi? I can't believe I ordered all of this..."

-Katsura Daisuke- He felt Mizu wrap his arms around him and snuggle against him for a few moments as he slightly placed his hand over the young vocalists head while he placed his cigarette in between his lips and took a quick pull and slowly exhaled the smoke, he felt Mizu let go of him and then walk towards the Piano that was in the recording room and started to play a melody as he then heard him sing softly. When Mizu sung it was almost as if a beautiful angel were to be singing along to a melody beautifully. Daisuke was thinking about joining him with the bass, but hadn't done it yet until he saw him gesture towards the bass that was there which made him slightly smile as he took another quick pull from his cigarette as he grabbed the bass guitar and started playing along to the melody of the piano and Mizu's voice. His fingers moved quickly threw the cords of the bass guitar as he looked at the young vocalist as a slightly noticeable smile got on his face. Once they finished playing he took a few steps towards him. " it doesn't sound so bad.." he said while he slightly smiled. " all we need now is the guitar, keyboard and drums in the instrumental." the bassist said as he continued holding the bass guitar. (( i'm really sorry for the late reply... gomene T-T ))

Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SAI No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
The flat voice told Sai that the message got through but maybe not in the way he intended however, for now it was probably for the best considering the circumstances. The violinist didn't need complications that his brother would undoubtedly cause in his current state.
"You're welcome, Ryuukaze. I will be sure to tell him and I know that once he's in a better state, he will wish to talk." His gaze traveled away from the red eyes and down over the bandaged chest and stomach. Tsk...the bandages just ruined the view. Although, he was certain that other areas didn't have...bandages. That thought brought a pleasant smile to his face as he took a moment to ponder pale flesh.
"Mm..Ryuukaze, why don't you lean back and let me adjust your sheet before I go. I don't want you to catch a cold on top of your injuries. That would be irresponsible of me." He wouldn't take no for an answer as he smoothly took up the sheets edge in his fingertips and lightly draped them back over Ryu's body. Then with nimble fingers, he tucked the edges in right at the outline of Ryu's body...but of course avoided the injured and most tender of areas. However, his fingers managed to get a good idea of Ryu's shape from toe to hips. The hips right around the butt getting an extra tuck for good measure.
"There, you go. Now you won't be cold and the nurse can take care of the rest." he smiled satisfied with his 'handiwork' and then finished with, "I'll let myself out, Ryu. Sleep well...dream well."
It wasn't long before he started for the door making sure the nurse had everything situation for Ryu's meals, meds and physical therapy.

Ryuukaze “I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.” Strange. That was becoming the word for Ryu's life. A definition, even. So very strange. Strange how Sai somehow managed to put him at ease when, in all fairness, he should have been crying, or at least freaking out in some fashion. Strange how the act of Sai tucking him in made him feel safe and cared for. Strange how Ryu's heart fluttered ever so slightly at Sai's closeness. Sai said his goodbyes, and...whether out of fear, loneliness, or want for Naoko...Ryu felt like calling out for the man, asking for him to stay just a bit longer. The look on his face said as much, but he merely bit his lip and remained silent, hoping that everything was going to be ok...somehow. “For Love is Immortality.”

Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SAI No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
Sai might have caught the look but didn't let on. He turned his head and gave the young man a quick smile before walking out. His stride never missing a beat. Once he finally left Ryu's apartment, he hopped in the car and checked his watch. His eyes blinked once or twice with a slight dizzy spell, then called his secretary. "Yes, I know, I'm late to the shoot. Can we reschedule? Ah...good you already did that. You really are a doll, Hamu-kun."
He teased his secretary with that name because the young man was actually named Yamada Haru but...Shou found the other name much more suitable. He even had bought the man a small stuffed hamster on Valentine's day last year along with a variety of chocolate. The blush was as deep as the tin foiled wrapping. Yes, Shou was quite fond of his help.
But tomorrow, Shou had work...and Naoko would have to get in the swing of things damn quick. No more of this 'mopey life so tragic EMO' for him. 'Shou' wouldn't put up with that crap. No wonder the band wasn't going anywhere. He shook his head wondering if allowing SMASH to place him with his this band was ultimately a good idea. Then, he rubbed his head just for a second.
Sai rolled his eyes and in a little while he had finally navigated home. HIM was a pain in the a** as far as Sai was concerned. But having Naoko at his home now complicated matters. He couldn't babysit him forever. Sooner or later Naoko would have to get over HIM and move on.
However, as he pulled into the drive and towards the garage, he glanced up at the room where Naoko would be and smiled just a little. He still loved Ko-kun even if the boy was a brat. So he went inside wondering if Naoko had took his bath. Since he had been away long enough, certainly Naoko would have gotten bored by now and either followed the order or was sleeping. Walking up the stairs, he went to the door and unlocked it quietly and stepped inside. "Ko-kun?"

K a i - H i g u r i"I... I accept your apology, Kai."
Woah. What? Kai wasn't sure if he had heard it correctly at first. Izzy just said that he was forgiven, but that was far too quick. How could he be forgiven so fast for something so utterly atrocious as that afternoon? Kai had barely even begun to fathom forgiving himself, let alone have his manager forgive him. Kai was quite sure that that rough beginning would damage their relationship forever, and that Izzy would probably ask to resign from the job if his pride as a manager let him. But here Izzy was, sitting right in front of him, saying that Kai was forgiven. Kai almost blurted out a "you're joking, right?" before stopping himself, deeming that as something rude to say. But still, the singer took another sip of wine to calm down his surprise. Rarely was Kai ever caught off guard. Then again, today wasn't quite the ordinary day either.
Kai listened quietly to Izzy, not sure if he should be taking Izzy's words as a compliment or an insult. Sure, he was narcissistic and self centered, but it couldn't have been that bad, right? And at least Kai was a good enough man to apologize for his wrong doings. Of course, that thought was more for his own consolation than for Izzy. Kai soon finished his glass, setting it down on the table as his eyes wandered to Izzy's tear stained face.
"That doesn't stop Narcissus from... demanding things."
Kai glanced up to try and meet Izzy's eyes with his own suddenly questioning gaze. Demanding things? Kai hadn't actually heard much about Narcissus except for commonly known things such as facts that were mentioned by Izzy or the fact that Narcissus had chosen quite an apt stage name. Kai also knew that the man was quite adept at a large variety of instruments, being a musical prodigy and all by the age of... well, sometime in his teenage years; Kai had never taken enough interest to remember when exactly. With those facts about Narcissus being the only things that Kai knew, Kai found Izzy's slight hysterics to be a little... confusing. Why did Izzy react so strongly to Narcissus? Was their relationship different than acquaintances of the same industry and the whole manager/star deal? Kai wanted to voice his queries and relieve the confusion he was currently feeling, but the singer knew that this probably wasn't the best time to be prying.
Thank god the food came to relieve him of saying anything in reply. Even if gentlemen were supposed to offer comfort in any way they could, Kai wasn't sure that he even knew enough about the matter first of all to offer anything that would improve Izzy's somber and slightly hysterical demeanor. In answer to Izzy's question, Kai replied with a small fond smile, "I do have quite a liking to raw fish wrapped in rice and seaweed indeed. Sushi is one thing that I can eat forever and ever without ever tiring of it." Kai refilled his own glass with wine and glanced up at Izzy. "Itadakimasu," he murmured, slightly teasingly, though Kai wasn't sure where the teasing tone came from. Perhaps it was because he felt closer to his manager because they had experienced what they had together in such a short time. Kai didn't even feel like the man in front of him was his manager. Kai felt that they were much closer than that, though in more of a delicate camaraderie sort of way.
"You know," Kai started, taking up a piece of Ahi Oshi-Zushi and delicately placing some wasabi on top, eying just the right amount. "I find it interesting that you've stopped calling me Nakai." Kai took some ginger and placed it on the sushi in a neat small stack. "I suppose that it adds to your forgiveness of me in some way or another—which I'm still surprised about, I must admit—but I can't say I mind. I just never thought you'd break from your managerial strictness with me, that's all." Kai smiled and popped his sushi into his mouth, chewing to eschew saying anything more. The singer hoped that the sudden change in subject wouldn't appear too suspicious to Izzy, even if Kai's intention had been to get his manager's mind away from what obviously seemed to be a grievous topic. Then again, Kai could talk about that if Izzy ever wished to return to it, though he had a feeling that his manager didn't quite feel too happy to be dwelling on the subject at the moment.
Kai smiled a little as he chewed on his scrumptious bit of rice and fish, reveling in the taste of the ginger that was his favorite part. It was just too amusing to think about how quickly things had changed from the day's morning to the day's night, or from the first phone call of Kai and Izzy's relationship to their slightly awkward dinner at the moment. Though Kai had only formally been introduced—if one could even call it that—to his manager today, Kai had heard of how proud Izzy was of his job. That knowledge was helped by the startling record of Izzy's file as manager, but also by the tales that Izzy had collected from his time in the industry of Izzy's uptight seriousness and professionalism to his stars. The singer had to admit that he felt the slightest bit smug in having broken that strict nature a little, even if it had been something utterly atrocious in action and even if it had made Izzy cry. Of course, he still felt terrible for partly being the cause of Izzy's tears—actually, terrible didn't even begin to describe it—but the smugness was a side thing that Kai just found interesting. He didn't know why he liked it, but the disappearance of the formalities of business between the two of them over this dinner, even if it probably would only last for one night, pleased him greatly.N a k a i

Ryuukaze “I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.” Sai left. Ryu was alone in the house with some stranger who had been hired to be his nurse. A minute passed, then another, then about ten more before the tears began to well up in the violinist's eyes, sparkling red spilling diamond waterfalls down alabaster cheeks. Naoko gone. Sai...hardly an associate...gone. No family. Nobody else he can call on. Nobody but a number that had been in his phone for only a day, a number he had yet to use, and had planned on deleting. Pressing send on the cellphone, Ryu tried to calm his breathing so that he wouldn't sound so obviously pained. As the phone rang, Ryu wondered if the name of the man he was dialing would be one he would come to respect. ....Nakai.... “For Love is Immortality.”

What a shock, it was so surprising, You looked so small and frail------------------------------------------------}:- Izzy Lucky At times life can be so enlightening .uoy no nrut nac ti tuB
Izzy could tell Kai was confused by his quick acceptance of the apology. Normally, Izzy might have waited on something like that but he was a bit frazzled and need something of his day to improve. "I can tell you're surprised by...my acceptance. It's not something I take lightly but...I'm giving you a second chance, Kai. We have to work together. I'm not giving up my promotion so quickly...so I'm hoping we can start over and put this behind us." His explanation was brief but honest. Kai was his star. If he couldn't give him a second chance, then how could they work together.
Izzy didn't elaborate any more about his moments with Narcissus. Even if he wanted to talk to someone about it; telling Kai, his star was not the right choice. He didn't want Kai's performance to be dampened by what was going on behind the scenes. He'd have to make sure to keep Narcissus away from Kai. He had a feeling that their personalities would clash.
Oh he was quite thankful that the food distracted the both of them from the subject and he smiled just a bit when he heard that Kai liked sushi too. "Well you can't eat it all the time. We can't have you waddling on stage." That thought caused his mood to lighten just a bit more but the wine was having a slight affect on that mood also. He felt a tad tipsy however, he wasn't going to mention it. As long as he stopped with the wine, he'd be fine.
"Itadakimasu." He answered Kai's words before his chopstick zeroed in on a piece of uni and quail egg first. And as he sunk his teeth in he released a sigh and relaxed a bit more. "I'm glad to hear it, because I think I ordered enough for four people!"
Then he paused as Kai pointed out his slight slip of protocol. Normally he kept to the stage names but today, had shot him well out of the norm. The change of subject was doing Izzy quite a bit of good actually and he didn't seem to mind too much as he tucked another scrumptious bite into his mouth after dunking it into wasabi and soy. "Oh...ah...well, normally, I don't use my stars' personal names. In fact, I hadn't intend on doing so...It just sort of happened." He blushed just a bit at his own mistake, "But..." he said firmly as he snag a piece of Caterpillar roll, "At work, it's back to Nakai. However, mm.. since well I've made this faux pas in my own protocol. I'll try to use your personal name outside of work if we meet...every once in awhile since you seem to like it." He'd make a small concession with that considering it might seem a little rude to do otherwise.
"I suppose we will have to try again for a more business-like meeting." he said in between bites of sushi with a more relaxed smile. "I'd like to get a new album for you out and get a tour set up as soon as we can feasibly arrange it." It was all he mentioned about work since the dinner obviously wasn't going to head that direction. And maybe it was for the better. Izzy for once didn't feel like working at all. In fact, he really wanted some fun to happily end a most inhospitable day.
"So...what do you do when you've time off? My last star, he was too young to go to the clubs or anything so I usually spent some free time with him to go to the arcades or the Pet House in Tokyo. The kittens there are quite adorable."
Then he paused for a moment realizing that Kai wasn't a kid and probably didn't want his manager hanging around. "Oh...well, don't feel obligated to spend time with me. When I managed Ariko, then Chiyou, it was like parenting most of the time." He flipped out his iphone and pulled up a couple of images of his young stars and showed them to Kai. One of him standing by Ariko in a pretty party dress outside a Junior High. And one of Chiyou and he at an arcade both holding guns trying to to look serious about their weapons. He was quite fond of these memories and both youngsters had done him proud while he managed them. -:{------------------------------------------------I didn't know what to do I grabbed the tiger by the tail!

♠|M|i|k|i|♠ The blond got out of the room and walked towards the stair way, he never seemed to like elevators that much because for some reason when he gets inside one it always seems to get stuck for quite a long time which sometimes makes him think that the elevator would lose it's breaks, fall down and crash onto the ground and he would die, he could probably be exaggerating a bit, but still he would rarely get inside an elevator. He walked down the stairs as he began to think about what he would eat, he could probably go buy a hamburger, but he could also go to one of his favorite reamen shops that was near by, he was thinking of all the places that he could go and eat something delicious, but most of them were far away and since he was quite lazy the blond didn't want to go too far so he finally decided that he should go eat some ramen. The guitarist walked happily down the stairs not paying much attention as to who was around him, which he could probably bump into someone, but that didn't seem to cross his mind at that moment, all he wanted to do now is eat. ♠|Kazuo Matsura|♠

K a i - H i g u r iKai ate silently as he listened to Izzy speak. Kai was actually quite sure that the flurry coming out of Izzy's mouth was not normal for his behavior. It was probably due more so to the anxiety of the day than anything else. There was no way that Izzy could be this talkative usually, right? Izzy had struck Kai, in the file, at least, as a person who tried to be as calm and professional as possible. This flurry of words sure didn't seem as such. Then again, Kai was grateful for that. This was a lot better than the business setting that Kai had prepared for. Otherwise, Kai would still be feeling the great and terrible burden of guilt, probably not apologizing for the whole night. But the night had barely started and Kai had already been 'forgiven.' At least, Izzy had said that he was forgiven. But Kai knew well that there was a large rift between words and actions. Time could only tell if Kai was really forgiven or not.
The mention of kittens made Kai almost lower his chopsticks mid-attack at a nigiri sushi. The singer had quite a soft spot for kittens and feline creatures in general, wishing that he could have a cat around his house. But women usually found fur on coats that weren't meant to be there sort of unattractive. Not to mention the fact that it would deter women who were allergic to cats from coming to his house. And Kai never wanted that to happen, did he? Still, the singer wanted a cat quite badly, and with Izzy along speaking about kittens in the Pet House, Kai was starting to think that adopting a kitten couldn't be that bad of an idea.
Wonder what everyone else would say about her... By 'everyone else,' Kai was talking about people he knew in the industry that he recently had run-ins with, such as Ishi and Naoko. It felt odd to think of them in such a nonchalant manner after having experienced what they had in the alley. Perhaps Izzy's light mood was rubbing off on him, even if it was only for the night. But tomorrow, Kai would go back to his self-loathing.
Then Izzy made that comment about obligation, and Kai almost choked on his wine. Honestly, Kai couldn't find any part of the man in front of him that he disliked—especially the glasses—and wasn't sure if he would ever dislike Izzy. It took quite a bit for a person to get on Kai's bad side. But once a person was there, there was sort of a no return policy. Or at least returning was pretty difficult.
Kai observed the pictures of the youngsters that were shown to him, though he found his gaze more drawn to Izzy's fond expression more than anything else. It gave Kai's heart—and guilty conscience—more peace knowing that the alleyway incident didn't wipe that expression from Izzy's facial repertoire. Now that would have truly been a regretful thing. Feeling a little better, Kai smiled at Izzy, more so out of self-gladness than amusement at what Izzy was saying.
"First of all, you should know that I spend time with whom I want to. There is no obligation to me being here, you know. I'm a star. I can do what I want. Well... sort of." Kai was referencing the incident earlier today. That was probably made obvious by the rueful look that suddenly overtook his expression for just a moment before he brightened up again and continued on. "But I find your company quite delightful, and I don't think I'll ever be obligated to hang around with you, even if you'll be trying to murder me with work.
"Now to answer your question, I..." Kai grimaced for a moment. This question was possibly too close to home for the both of them if Kai answered it in the wrong way. "I go to clubs at times," Kai murmured quietly. The rest about the clubs was left to Izzy's imagination, though Kai was quite sure that Izzy wouldn't need much help considering what had happened earlier in the day. "But oftentimes I just sit around at home and read a good classic. I'm quite fond of those." Then, winking and giving Izzy a smirk, Kai added, "I know. Not what one would expect out of an eminent singer, right?" Kai chuckled softly, about to take another sip of his highly expensive wine.
Just right then, his phone rang, giving out the tune of someone to which he hadn't assigned a specific tone yet. It was a soft tone that didn't cause Kai to jump up in surprise. Taking the phone out, Kai glanced at it as he apologized to Izzy. "Sorry about this. I should have turned it off before starting dinner. Then again, you and I are both in a busy industry that needs constant contact, right?" Throwing at Izzy a knowing smile, Kai flipped his phone open without glancing at the caller's name and said quickly to Izzy, "If you'll excuse me for a quick moment." With that, Kai brought the phone to his ear, stood up, and quickly strode out the door, gently closing it behind him.

Ryuukaze “I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve it through not dying.” The voice on the other end of the phone sounded smooth and pleasant, and Ryu was thankful for that. As much as he had wished harm upon the blond previously, it seemed he was now the only one Ryu could even attempt to reach out to, and it was better somebody than nobody at all sometimes. Taking a deep breath, he spoke. "Kai-kun....it's Ryu...I...I kinda need you." “For Love is Immortality.”

What a shock, it was so surprising, You looked so small and frail------------------------------------------------}:- Izzy Lucky At times life can be so enlightening .uoy no nrut nac ti tuB
He had tried really hard to change the mood and so far things were working. Actually, it was rather surprising to him but Kai really didn't seem like that bad of guy once he got past the...well the alley. Earlier in the day, he hadn't even hoped for any redeeming qualities but after Narcissus' visit maybe he just had to find his center somehow and pray that Kai wasn't like Narcissus. Kai was integral to his career so things had to be worked out. They had to be able to work together above anything else.
Yes, the photos brought on many good memories and bad ones but mostly good. The kids were just that...kids...even when they were stars. It was always a balancing act with being a manager and a parent. However, looking back, he probably could work with younger stars again. He tucked his iphone back into his pocket and had a happier glow upon his face. Good times indeed.
Izzy laughed a little when Kai talked about him murdering him at work, " Oh and I will make you work awful hard at your job! No slacking." He waggled the chopsticks at Kai before taking a piece of a dragon roll. "So you might change your mind about spending time with me after we get back to the Studio."
"But I thank you for saying that. I'd like us to get along and work well together." Izzy tried not to show any reaction to the previous comment that leaned towards this morning's events but of course looking up a Kai at that particular moment told him they both probably had similar thoughts from a different angle of course.
"Clubs Eh? Ah...yes. Well you have to get out in the crowd to be popular." he answered and he didn't appear to relate that to the morning's incident but of course he wasn't naive. Kai was a man after all and his file did say...playboy. Of course, that part never had been in depth...until now in Izzy's eyes.
"You know I wouldn't have expected it but it's nice to know that you have a quieter side." his smile became softer and he rested his head on his hands for a moment. But before he could continue that thought, he stopped as the phone rang. "Oh..ah. That''s perfectly alright. I understand."
He watched Kai walk out the door then shook his head in disbelief. There really was much more to Kai than he realized. At the moment, he might not have believed that he would have been capable for such an act that came about in the morning. Although, the dominate personality had its own appeal but he wouldn't tell Kai that. -:{------------------------------------------------I didn't know what to do I grabbed the tiger by the tail!

Time.
In the somewhat infamous words exchanged between one Stephen Fry (SF) and one Hugh Laurie (HL); SF: And how does Shakespeare spell 'Time'? HL: Uh... t-i-m-e. SF: t-i? HL: m SF: M, e. So what sort of spelling is that, Hugh? HL: The... conventional spelling? SF: Exactly! So out of all the spellings that Shakespeare could have used, why do you think he chose this one? HL: Because... because he wants to give us time in a conventional sense!
Time... Thyme... Tyme... Thime... back then, there would have been so many different ways to spell such a simple word. Or was it so simple? Was "Time" as easy to comprehend as most people thought it was? 'I need to be on TIME for the meeting.' or 'This TIME I'll do things right!' or even 'Where did the TIME go?' TIME TIME TIME TIME TIME It was one thing that ruled the world, and yet... one thing that Naoko felt he didn't have enough of. A day, two days... was it enough TIME to get to know someone deeply enough to want to spend one's entire life with them? Was it enough TIME to be able to throw them aside for the next best time? Hell, while he was at it, had the past few hours been enough TIME to fully comprehend, let alone contemplate, the events which had been going on around the young pianist's life for the last TWO DAYS?! Well... It might not have been enough TIME to allow Naoko to come to terms with everything. But it sure as hell had been enough to let the man write out his feelings in song. Not only that... But to music as well.
Hair still wet and towel-dried as best as possible, Naoko headed back into the bedroom. Strangely enough, there was a small upright piano in the room. The bath had been wonderful, and just what Oumori needed to try and unwind after a very stressful day. He hadn't texted Ryu again, having received no response to the first text, and had actually sent Nakai a text as well. Though it was just one simple question of; Did you patch things up with Ishi? Smelling of lavender scented soap and a tangy citrus flavor, thanks to his shampoo, Naoko was pacing the bedroom as his mind whirled to come up with more lyrics. He wanted a full song. Something beautiful. Something that just himself and Hikari Ya Yami's vocalist would perform. Something so simple... Parts of a song had come to him as he bathed, and parts had waited until after he was dry to pop into his mind. But when he did have his lyrics... When he knew he was ready to put them to the music in his heart... Only then... Did NAKO sit down at the piano, white towel around his waist, and put lithe fingers to ivory keys.
The result... was an immediate hit. And as Naoko sang, his voice soft and yet beautiful... he lost himself in the music and the moment. And TIME... seemed to stand perfectly still...
I'm here / I'm here / Waiting for you Watching the waves / Toss blindly by My senses dulled / Threatening to spill The torment of / my heart
Drowning out the sound / of my racing heart / Beating faster still / and more erratic now
One and two and three and me Feeling flames of jealousy Who was it that had cornered me Up against the wall I have been Take it all and bring me to that sweet ecstasy
[Piano bridge]
Then I / see what / I've finally become I see the real me / The deep void inside Again / I see / you lying dead Wake me up now / I beg
Keep me sane / Hold me in the night / I'll find your warmth again / But I can't be your light
One and two and three and me Dying once again leave me / now and for eternity Make that sweet ecstasy / become nothing more than a mere memory
One and two and three and me I want to break the ties kill my lies A sweet sweet memory
One and two and three and me Just a memory Nothing more than a memory
(((OOC: The song was written BY me... at work actually... I was Host and bored. The music itself however... Well, the lyrics can actually be sung to the song "Scarlet" from Ayashi no Ceres. But the PIANO version. So... here's a link to the song! http://www.last.fm/music/Ayashi+no+Ceres/_/Scarlet+(piano+version) ENJOY!)))
Reflections... mirrors to the soul... windows into the very inner workings of one's heart and mind. Of course, glass wasn't shatter resistant. Especially when you threw an ashtray at it. Pissed was hardly the word to describe the aura and atmosphere, let along the feelings, that were rushing through Akihiko's veins in that moment. He had been brushed aside by a manager. And not just any manager, but the very one he had shunned! In Koyasu's mind, the other man should have been begging to be in charge of his tour. The money that Narcissus brought in for Ohayou Productions was astounding, and there wasn't a sole in all of Japan that didn't know his face. Unless they were hermits. So, amidst the sound of shattered glass, Koyasu paced his hotel room. Well, the man could have gone home... but then he'd have to live with the damages of his mood. Hotels could be paid off, after all. Frustrated and furious, the dark haired man fell into a comfy arm chair, before picking up the wine glass that sat on the table beside him. The perfect wine... Dom. Romane Conti 1997... Nakai, unbeknownst to Akihiko, wasn't the only one with an expensive taste in drinks... Apparently they had one trait in common as far as drink preferences went. Of course the wine didn't last long. After a few savoring sips, the anger returned and Akihiko flung the glass, wine included, across the room. Not only did it stain the carpet and pristine bed sheets... but it shattered against the wall and left quite the smear. Having struck out at the restaurant, Akihiko had found himself angrily hailing a cab and heading back to the hotel. Of course... he had neglected to eat anything after his encounter with Izzy Lucky. Now... he was drunk. On an empty stomach. No one brushed him aside. Anyone he wanted, he took... because they willingly gave themselves to him. He was rich, famous, popular, beautiful... the perfect specimen of the human race! Okay, so maybe even that thought was going a bit far for Koyasu Akihiko, but that hardly meant the prodigy didn't think himself a cut above the rest! With over half the wine bottle gone, and with the dark haired man not quite seeing straight anymore, Akihiko decided that staying put in the chair was his best bet to not inflicting self injury by tripping or slamming headfirst into a wall. However... Taking out his cell phone, Akihiko typed in one single number... and then sent one very simple sentence of a text message. Get Me Everything On Izzy Lucky.

Do you know what you got into Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do------------------------------------------------}:- SAI No escaping when I start .traeh ruoy nwo I ni m'I ecnO
Sai went silent when he heard the enchanting song roll from Naoko's fingers to the keys of the small upright. Smiling to himself, he knew that the small piano had been a worthy investment. Each note had meaning, and Sai could feel the desperate emotions expressed the music. And at some point, Sai wished to join in with that song but he refrained. Right now, was Naoko's personal moment and Sai wouldn't interrupt that deeper vision as it poured out.
Once the enchantment had slowly start to fade with the closing of the song, Sai noticed that Naoko had bathed and was just wearing a small white towel. His head tilted with a relaxed smile, "Seems like my idea worked. I think it will find the right note with the fans." In his mind, Sai could see the stage, the colors....the costumes and most importantly the notes reverberating from his lips. He knew that dragging Naoko out of the insanity would have a positive effect right away but this was only the start. Naoko was far from free of is own inner turmoil However, each restful moment like this pulled the hurt out bit by bit in song. One step at a time.
He walked over and kissed the top of Naoko's head and caressed his cheek, "He has his soup, some flowers, and a real nurse to care for him. So you can be at ease. Ryu said to tell you that he'll be fine, that he was sorry and to just relax. I'm sure that he will recover quickly." He said confidently even as he left out the parts about him tucking Ryu in...and the other thoughts that ran through his mind. No Naoko didn't need to know.
"So now that is settled, Ko-kun. And you can focus on yourself now. " He slowly took up Naoko's hand and kissed each fingertip one by one. He lingered his lips on the last finger and brushed them along the knuckle over the sensitive nail, "I've taken care of everything." He always did...
With that he slid his hand down Naoko's and along his arm until it found Naoko's bare back. Once there, he pulled Naoko against his chest, his moist lips seeking those soft ones in a warm affectionate kiss. He liked to tease his little brother with romantic asides. And after his afternoon, he felt he deserved this much compensation for missing his photo shoot. He'd take a bit more...soon enough.

NPC - Shounen Pop Yes Sir!------------------------------------------------}:- Asato Hiroki Chairman's Secretary - Ohayou Productions
Asato Hiroki glanced down at his phone while eating dinner with a couple of the company men. It was already late but he rarely got time off lately it seemed. He might have ignored the text this time since he had told the Chairman that he had plans for the night, but a serious secretary like himself couldn't hold out for that long.
So finally, he read the text...Get Me Everything On Izzy Lucky....and shook his head moderately annoyed.
It wasn't Koyasu-sama but Koyasu-kun. Izzy Lucky? Why? Koyasu-kun already refused the brilliant young manager. What business could he possibly have with him? Wasn't he assigned to...mmm...Nakai. Yes. That was the star's name. Talented but...still needed to hit the marks. Seemed like a good match in Hiroki's opinion. At least, he had been pleased with the Chairman's selection.
He patted the table as he slid out of the chair apologizing for his early departure. Koyasu-kun was an impatient brat to say the least so he wouldn't leave him waiting but why he was suddenly interested in Izzy Lucky, Hiroki could only guess.
Tapping back a text for the location to deliver the files, he then drove back to the office to dig them up. He considered that Koyasu-san might have changed his mind but then realized that was nigh impossible. Hiroki wondered many things about the future of the company but for now, he was quite secure in his place within in it.
Hiroki dug out the stack of personal files and after retrieving them glanced at his messages to see the location provided for drop off. It wasn't long before Hiroki was heading down the hall of a prestigious hotel looking for the room. His heels clicked on the floor reflecting the frustration he felt, as he walked towards the door. Once inside, his brown eyes scanned the room not believing what he saw! No, this was a room anymore but a train wreck! Totally TRASHED! Instantly, his eyes flicked to Koyasu-san. But his eyes weren't only drawn to the young man, but the broken glass and the wine everywhere upon WHITE CARPET! Then, his eyes stopped on the bottle itself...Hiroki mouthed the name of the bottle under his breath. It would cost MORE THAN THE REPAIRS TO THIS ROOM!!
As his eyes unwilling returned to Koyasu-kun, it didn't take rocket science to know that the man was drunk out of his mind and in a sour mood to boot. But at the moment, Hiroki didn't give a rat's a** about that. Dropping his coat and the briefcase on a upright chair, he gave a sharp sigh, "You called me all the way out here with these files while you were drunk?! I can't believe this, Koyasu-kun!"
Other people might have stepped back and cringed at this point. But not Hiroki. He wasn't afraid of Koyasu-sama's boy like many of the others in the office. In fact, quite the opposite. Striding over, he dragged the young man to his feet and shuffled him down the hall. "Do you know how much that wine was you tossed? Couldn't you have drank something cheaper if you weren't going to savor the flavor?" Unfortunately, he doubted Akihiko had enough experience to truly understand the tasting notes or the complexities of a Dom. Romane Conti 1997. Especially, when all he wanted to do was get wasted!!
Hiroki didn't waste time with an explanation of fine wines but instead shoved the boy into the shower and turned a blast of cold water on him. Oh yes, it was cold alright but he'd surely come to his senses soon enough even as the water started to warm. Meanwhile, Hiroki ordered a rushed meal and strong coffee from room service and put it on the damn tab.
"Koyasu-kun, your actions here are unacceptable" he said in complete exasperation as he stood by the bathroom doorway. "You're grandfather may dote on you but he won't tolerate this grave disrespect of property. Nor will he accept such frivolous use of resources. Me included! While you do make a lot of money, have you ever thought of how fast you spend it? Even more, how much bad publicity you get from these stunts? You could use a little good publicity for a change, Narcissus."
He paused for a moment so the words might sink into that soaked thick skull and he walked out for a brief moment to receive the hot food and coffee from the wait staff. As he returned, he pushed the cup into Koyasu-kun's hand as soon as the young man came out of the shower, "Drink it."
With that he strode back out into the wreck of the living room and settled into that upright chair dragging his briefcase up on to the desk, he waited for Koyasu-kun come out.
