{{Been trying to write this post all freakin day stressed *shakes fist at distractions* Retropost now I guess stare }}
*With the lack of variety Miro was getting in food, it wasn't difficult for Vassnta to get her to agree to grocery shopping today. However, since they don't have a vehicle, they were limited to getting only what the two of them could carry. It isn't until after they get back to the apartment that it occurs to Miro she could have stuffed some things in her backpack to carry more. As they put things away, Vassnta brings up the encounter he had with Pie-san last night, how she seemed to have a hard time understanding his situation and wanted very much for him to tell her about this Florence woman. Miro isn't really much help since she doesn't know who Florence is either or where Draa would have met her.
After putting away the last of the groceries, Vassnta then remembers something else that happened that night which he found... interesting. He reaches up and starts to feel his ear, but doesn't have the same reaction to it as when the angel grabbed it.*
Miro...?
*He walks up to the cleric just as she's turning to face him which startles her slightly because she wasn't expecting him to be so close* surprised sweatdrop
Would you do something for me?
um... sure. sweatdrop What is it? whee
*Vassnta smiles a little when she agrees and takes her hand, guiding it up to the side of his head and molding her fingers around the ridge of his ear. He feels his cheeks warm slightly from her touch and slowly pulls his hand away. Figuring he was asking her to rub his ear, Miro starts to move her fingers slightly, causing Vassnta to gasp unexpectedly and his cheeks flush a deeper red. The cleric quickly pulls her hand back upon seeing his reaction and blushes herself, looking off to the side a bit. She should have known his ears would be sensitive.* sweatdrop redface
W... why did you stop?
... sweatdrop Miro isn't sure she should do that sweatdrop
*tilts his head slightly*

*takes her hand and guides it back to his ear, flushing anew at the sensation it brings*
This.... this is.... very... different... from other things I have experienced. What type of feeling is this?

*Miro tries to pull her hand away, but Vassnta keeps it there, his eyes now only half open as he gazes down at the cleric expectantly, waiting for an answer*
W-Well... since I'm not you... I um.... sweatdrop ... I suppose I really can't say ninja
*really doesn't want to have to try to explain it to him, especially since he ultimately wouldn't understand anyway* sweatdrop

*features sadden slightly, figuring her reasoning made sense and she really wouldn't be able to say without feeling it herself. So he reaches over and softly rubs her ear with his other hand*

*blushes deeply in response. While her ears aren't quite as sensitive as some other elves, the way he's looking at her and subconsciously drawing closer to her adds an atmosphere that makes up for the physical sensation she lacks*

*By now, Vassnta's eyes have closed completely and he's practically nose to nose with the cleric. His hold on her hand has also loosened a bit, which leaves Miro the opportunity to move it away from his ear. After doing so, she also removes his hand from her own ear and takes a step back. Her voice is meek as she speaks.*
You shouldn't do that...
*slowly opens his eyes and looks questioningly at her*

*frowns slightly and directs her vision to the floor, unable to look him in the eye*
You just shouldn't do that.
*Before Vassnta has a chance to repeat himself as he inevitably would, Miro exits the kitchen and locks herself in the bedroom, leaving him wondering if he did something wrong*

*Since the incident yesterday after grocery shopping, Miro had been rather distant. Additionally, any time Vassnta tried to ask her about what happened and why she seemed displeased with him, she would clam up and avoid looking at him. Eventually, he just gives up trying to figure it out and instead tries to think of things to make her feel better, though he doesn't really know anything that would. At first he suggests they watch something together since that seemed to be something she liked and suggested herself often. Though she agrees, it's very unenthusiastically and she appears to just be staring at the screen rather than actually watching. So he asks if she'd like to play video games instead, but all she does is shrug and say,"If you want, I guess.".
It's very tempting for him to question her again about what exactly he did wrong, but she's no more apt to answer now than earlier. Instead, he decides to leave her to herself for the time being and go out for a walk, as if the answers he seeks would be out there somewhere. He certainly wasn't going to get them from Miro. Given the sequence of events, logically the thing he did wrong must have been touching her ear since that was the last thing he did before she became upset. But initially she seemed to enjoy it like he enjoyed her touch, so how could that be bad? Unless perhaps he was mistaken about it being a good feeling. He thought it was good, but admittedly it was a sensation he did not understand. Maybe the warming and reddening of their cheeks was supposed to be a sign that some kind of wrong to the body was being committed, but he didn't know enough about it to heed the warning.
Vassnta frowns at the thought that he may have unknowingly harmed the cleric in his attempt to understand this new sensation he was introduced to, making him wish he did not have as many missing pieces of information as he seemed to have about life in general. It would be so much easier on him and everyone else if he just knew these things like they did.*
