J.J. Kooms "Because life isn't worth it without fine drink and fine food." JJ just stood and listened to the conversation between the owners, sipping his drink every now and then to ensure that it wasn't getting too watered down. It seemed as though this bar had the right kind of ice - hard ice, not prone to melting or cracking under temperature differences. Almost as solid as a whiskey stone; though, given that those are actual stones and not just tough ice, there was a much lower chance of water dilution. He sipped his scotch in thought, wondering if his old dealer still made those high quality ones that he was used to; it might be worth it to give him a call at some point.

She laughed at Psy's response. "Psy! You're not even going to ask me who won? " She chuckled and sipped her drink, casting a grin over in dame's direction.

I do hope YOU won and not just a little either. I hope you pounded him into the ground. That would teach him to bring you to the "shooting range" on a "date." talk2hand *Looks to Dame and her explosive laughter.* And what is WRONG with using whips and chains? They've worked quite well for me over the years thank you very much! talk2hand

She snickered and looked over at the newcomer.
"So, new guy....what do you think is better? Guns or whips and chains? wink "
She glanced back at dame, "You got that right! xd "
"Oh, and Psy....I got him on rifles, but he got me again on handguns. blaugh "

J.J. Kooms "Because life isn't worth it without fine drink and fine food." "This is going to sound like pandering to everyone, but I'm more of a 'whatever fits the situation'-kind of guy." He withdrew a hilt sans blade and placed it on the table. "I primarily use swords, but if I'm in a long-range fight, I'm going to want to use a rifle or something with stopping power over a distance." He took one last sip of his drink, the set the glass on the counter gently, the ice swirling in the now-empty glass as he let go. "Though, I've never met a whip or a chain user; I suppose the mechanics would be similar, but each style has its own idiosyncrasies, no?"

Rifles and handguns……… stare ……… That's SOME date. Did he take you to an outrigger's too to complete the evening's events? rolleyes *Sips her Cosmo.* *Looks to JJ.* I think JJ would find whips and chains fascinating… thrilling even if done properly.

She rolled her eyes and grinned at Psy. "Nope, no outriggers this time....we're saving that for the next date. wink " She laughed, "Psy! You know how I love my rifle! So, the shooting range is a perfect date as far as I'm concerned. I don't need to be wined and dined all the time. "

J.J. Kooms "Because life isn't worth it without fine drink and fine food." "Perhaps." JJ stowed Gloryheart's hilt back in the holster under his suit coat; once he was secure in its storage, he took his foot off the bar. "I always have a fond appreciation of technique, so I'm sure it would be an interesting exchange to see your skills." He smiled softly, then moved around to the side of the bar. "So, although this is self-serve, you three have been so kind to me already despite my first day in town. Would you mind if I made a round of cocktails for everyone?"

(( xd Hush word, Kat. -giggles-))
I don't think Psy'll be showing you her skills anytime soon. 1)She's engaged, soon to be married. 2)If you are on the other end of her whip for any other reasons, it won't be good to be the recipient. rofl
-she holds up her hand and picks up her juice- None for me, thanks. I don't drink. -smiles at him-
