To Amory's disappointment, she didn't have the ball long before Eretria snatched it from her grasp. Mory set her jaw and turned about to chase after the older girl. It would seem that it was now her turn to try to steal it back. Her surroundings sped past her as she darted down the field and when she was close enough to the girl she made an attempt to steal the quaffle back.

Dominic smirked, it only widened when Josh crumbled through a target right after he had. Good, now they were going somewhere. His laugh echoed, simplistic and serene. He felt right at home on the quidditch pitch, on his broom and with the sun on his back. He hummed a soft song under his breath as he zipped on his broom to the far left to catch a bludger in midair with his bat, hoping to hit it right into a stray target.

Jaslyn was totally out of it at the beginning of the game. She barely even heard her captain call for them to begin, and then suddenly she realized just what she was supposed to be doing and shot into the air. Red eyes immediately began scanning the pitch. She wanted to prove she could do this. She had only caught the snitch once last year.

Edajin barely felt the feathery wings brush his fingertips, but he couldn't quit grasp it. And what was worse, he noticed Jaslyn had spotted his trail, and would soon be racing him for it. This was his last chance to grab it before she could. Zooming forward again, he reached his arm out, his eyes pinned on the tiny golden ball.

Red eyes immediately latched onto the snitch as the other seeker utterly missed catching it. Jaslyn followed its path away from Edajin, and then darted after it herself. Good luck she supposed. She had spotted it right off the bat. Maybe it was a prophecy of what was to come for the coming season.
