Lyle gripped her bag tighter, and accidently gripped his hand tighter as well. She nodded, hoping that she would be able to do this. She was nervous, though, she was unnaturally fast. With that thought, she felt a little less afraid to do this train hopping.

"Alright... you first." Skye looked down at their hands and then began to run. He had spotted a open compartment door and they needed to reach it.

Lyle held her breath as Skye had said that she was going first. She couldn't stay calm with this. Though, before she had time to react, Skye had already started running. Her eyes had locked on the open compartment that they were running towards. Lyle easily matched her speed with his. Once they neared the open compartment, she let go of his hand, threw her bag in, and then jumped for the open space. With ease she had made it. Lyle then held her hand out for Skye.

Skye kept a few short paces back as she jumped and tossed her his bag. He picked up his own speed and leaped for the car. He nearly lost his grip as pain shot into his hand as he tried to pull himself up. He was afraid that might happen. He managed to get a leg into the car and was able to make it.

Lyle exhaled heavily as Skye finally made it into the car. Her heart had almost skipped a beat, thinking that he wouldn't make it for a moment. She was glad that he had made it. She hugged him tightly, scared and relieved that they both made it.

Skye's heart was hammering. He hugged her back, "Its all right. I made it." He laughed a little as the adrenalin started to dissipate.

She released him from the hug and smile. "I was worried. Is hopping trains always this scary?" Lyle asked as she looked out at the scenery passing them by.

"There's always a chance of not making it on. A chance of getting hurt." Skye nodded. It was a big risk but most of the time it was fine.

Lyle looked at him as she began bitting her bottom lip. It made her nervous now knowing that there could be a chance that they would get hurt doing this. "Well, we will need to make sure we are careful." She said softly, a small smile spreading across her lips.

"Always am. Of course I underestimated my hand." Skye looked down at the bandaged thing. It was throbbing right now, but he did hos best to ignore it. He looked back up at her with a smile thought.

Lyle slowly shook her head. They really needed to be careful until his hand healed properly. "Maybe, we should take it easy until that hand it healed." She said softly.

Skye touched her face with his good hand. "Don't worry. I'll be fine." He wasn't going to tell her he's had worse, he knew that wouldn't comfort her.

Lyle smiled when she felt his hand on her cheek. It was warm, and she loved it. "I hope so." She replied.

"I will be." Skye smiled again and got up. he looked around the car, there wasn't much in it. "We should get some sleep. No telling when this will stop."

She stood up along side him and nodded. Sleep sounded like a good idea, but she doubted that she would be able to sleep. "Alrighty, that sounds like a good plan." She said as she picked up her bag.
